January Release Hop Day 2!

Hi there, Lil' Inker Friends! Welcome back to day 2 of our new release hop!

We are delighted, giddy even, to read all of your fabulous and enthusiastic feedback on our new release items! Thank you so much!

Let's talk a bit more about what we're releasing this week!

Our new Cover Up Die: Center Point Chevron is quite simply - AMAZING! Sometimes it can be hard to portray the pure awesomeness of a die by just the graphic above so I urge you to click on the link above to this new die and check out the additional project photos that are on our website. This is one fascinating die! I just love the clean but eye-catching background it creates especially with monochromatic papers. Our designers did some amazing things with this as well so be sure to check everything out. This is a MUST HAVE!!!

This is a sweet little love word die. I drew our Doodled Love Word Die by hand and my right-hand gal, Ariana, perfected it graphically. I've been doodling this word for what seems like ages now and I'm so glad we were able to bring this to you as a die. It's definitely the most dainty of our word dies but still packs a big punch as a focal sentiment!

Our Hearts Banners Die Set - what can I say about this? Drool-worthy? Yep! Drool-worthy. I love it! The slightly larger of the two dies features our signature stitching detail and the slightly smaller features solid hearts. I think you'll appreciate the way these dies mix and match. We've created these dies with a bit of a curve and it makes them perfect for "draping" on a card front or tag. I love the sweet little touch it adds to projects!

Lollipop and Pencil Treat Holder Die was designed with making handmade classroom valentines EASY PEASY! In our schools we're not able to send in any food at all for holidays or birthdays but lollipops are okay.  I personally love to get holiday themed pencils with erasers and give them to the kids as gifts. My poor son is going to be known as the pencil kid, LOL, but what kid can't use a fresh pencil? Am I right? I digress....... :)
This die cuts a stitched, stampable notecard that features holes where you can slip in any lollipop you like or even a pencil. Pencils can either be weaved through the holed or tied on with a ribbon. I'm planning a video for this die to show you all the things it can do but I'm having some technical difficulties :(  I am trying my hardest to get this up and going for you. I promise! Just trust me on this - this die is fun and I think kids of all ages will love receiving a note with an attached goodie!

The following two stamp sets were created with our new Lollipop & Pencil Treat Holder Die in mind but can be used for so many other things too!

Seriously, how cute are these Robot Builder Stamps? All the parts can be "assembled" to create your very own custom robots. The designs are sweet and the simple sentiments we've included are just right! Below are some samples of just two assembled robots. Two completed robots fit just fine along with a sentiment on our lollipop holder die which is great!

These couples make the Perfect Pairs! From left to right we have peas and carrots, donuts and coffee, eggs and bacon, peanut butter and jelly, burgers and fries and mac and cheese. We've also included the perfect sentiments to complete this set done in the sweetest font. Gosh, I love this set!

These All You Need is Love Stamps are gorgeous especially the two largest in the set. This is the only set you'll need this Valentine's Day! It says it all!

Oooo la la!!! Our Smooches Stamp Set is one of my favorites EVER!!! I am OBSESSED with the font we used. I was going for something hand-written and then I realized I picked a font that looked exactly like the words could have been written in lipstick! LOVE THIS. The perfectly oversized, largest smooch in this stamp set steals the show! I think it's timelessly trendy and even a little sexy! I think you'll love stamping with this set!

Oh, happy day! This die is the second in a series of Quilted Dies! Quilted Swirl Stitched Pattern Die (that's a mouthful!) creates an actual quilted pattern in your card base or focal layers - even tags! It adds so much beauty and dimension with just one quick pass through your die cutting machine it makes the simplest cards look like they were a labor of love! :) Love that!

We were hard at work to find a new take on stitching and this is where we landed! Our Side-Stitched Rectangles cut this clean and modern take on stitching. These are amazing and I love that we're able to bring you something new in stitched dies while keeping true to our stitched die roots! The largest die in this set cuts ONLY a side-stitched border on a pre-made A2 card base. The other three dies in the set cut rectangles featuring this side-stitching detail. I can't imagine that this die set isn't a MUST HAVE! The effect is amazing and gorgeous!!!

Would you like to see some projects?

Above, I used our new Side-Stitched Rectangles to cut my side-stitched border on my purple card base. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I watercolored some pink and purple stripes onto watercolor paper and then I heat embossed the Love is in the Air sentiment from our All You Need is Love Stamp Set and topped it off with a coordinating purple ribbon. I love the way this turned out!!

Side note - I need to share these awesome and AFFORDABLE watercolors I found. I first saw them on our designer Lea Lawson's blog in one of her posts and I knew I had to try them especially when I saw the price and how many colors are in the pallet. FIVE BUCKS! Woo hooo!!! HERE'S a link.

This card again features our Side-Stitched Rectangles and our All You Need is Love Stamps but also features our Hearts Banners Die Set. SWOON! How fab is that sentiment though? LOVE! Here I heat embossed this in black and it's simply perfect!

I can't stop making things!! AAAacck! I hope you feel the same when your new goodies arrive!
