September Release Blog Hop Day 3

Well, hello there again!!! Welcome back for Day 3 of our new release blog hop!

In case you missed our Day 1 or Day 2 posts, click on the links to visit them. They're filled with projects and lots of info about our new items......and here they are again!!

Boo Balloons Stamps was designed to create a super spooky but sweet group of Halloween Balloons. All the images in the set fit onto our previously released Balloon Dies.

Here's a great project from Kim Rendino that I HAD to share because she used these fun star cut out balloons from our Balloons Die Set in her bunch and they are so fantastic paired with our Boo Balloons Images.

So, the balloons with the stars are actually two die cut layers. For example, Kim cut a red balloon and laid the black star overlay over the top. I even LOVE that she stamped some of her images onto patterned paper!

Excellent work, Kim!!!

Next up, using our Fall Foliage stamps and dies is a project from Chrissy that you just had to see. Chrissy was able to make these florals come to life but in an easy and efficient way by stamping the images onto colored paper in similarly colored ink. I think it's brilliant AND a huge time-saver too. Or, perhaps you're not into coloring. This is a perfect way for a stamper to use this set.

Chrissy paired her florals with our Thankful Word Die and Thankful Thoughts Stamps and I think this combo of goodies is perfection. I even see our Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Die peeking in from the back. Gorgeous!!!

I couldn't resist sharing this card from Lisa Henke because even on my BEST day I couldn't ever make a purple look this accurately beautiful. I only wish to one day possess these talents!!!!

I love these supplies because they made making this beauty so easy....once that stellar background was done, of course!

This is also a perfect card to show off not only our Harvest Moon Die and Spooky Trees Dies but our Stitched Bats Dies and Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die TOO. These supplies are shown below.

After seeing a sample Caly Person made with this set, I decided that I had to make a card with Monsters and our Perfect Palette Die. Here I started with a 4.25" square base in navy. Then, I die cut my Perfect Palette Die from white paper. I trimmed off the bottom row and rounded the corners to make it fit my smaller, square base which it does brilliantly. Then, I got to stamping and coloring my monsters from the Monsters Ink Stamp Set. I used Copics and kept my coloring simple and fast and then I die cut them out with the coordinating Monsters Ink Dies. One guy is jumping out from behind the white frame, one guy is dangling it and the other is jumping out in front to scare you. Isn't this cute? My sentiment was stamped with ombré ink onto light blue paper and then filled in with a white get pen and just trimmed by hand. I added sequins for a bit of a pop.

My son told me that my background was too plain and he suggested these striped circles for my design so I made it be so! HA! I actually love this little card and this set was very fun but easy to color!

September New Release Day 2

I'm back for Day 2 of our September Release Blog Hop! Our blog hop is a three-day event filled with posts and projects, giveaways and a great offer! Read on for more details!!!

Let's have another look at all of the new items in store this week. We've got a little bit of everything for Fall, Halloween, but with versatility built in so that you can use these goodies for lots of things!

For all the details behind the designs, I'll invite you back to my Day 1 Post our to our website where each product has a description, sizes and a project gallery!

Would you like to see a couple of projects I made with our new items? Believe me when I tell you, that I even shocked myself that I was able to craft a bit for this release. It made me really happy to be able to work with these new goodies!

Our Boo Balloons Stamps pairs with our previously released Balloon Dies and here are a bunch of the images from the set stamped and/or heat embossed onto a great grouping of balloons. I wanted to show you how some of the images in the set can be used to stamp around the balloons and in the background. I even used the balloons strings I included in this set so they appear to be floating. This was really fun to work with and honestly, there are so many things this stamp set can do for Halloween projects, not just balloons!

Here I've used our new Harvest Moon and Spooky Trees Dies to create this fun little scene. I started with watercolor paper and then I die cut it with the Harvest Moon Die Set. So, the yellow "moon" you see above is actually on the inside of the card. The trees flanking my pumpkins on either side are our new Spooky Trees Dies which were made specifically to adorn either side of our Harvest Moon Die and I looooove it! It was a really easy way to create a scene. The bat stamps and the faces on the middle and right pumpkins are from the new Boo Balloons Stamps and the guy on the left, the face is from our Boo & Faces 2 Stamps. Everyone is sitting atop a fence I made using our new Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die. Isn't this sweet?

September Release Blog Hop Day 1

Well, hi there!!! Thank you for stopping by today to check out our new stamps and dies for September! Plus, keep reading for a special, limited time offer!

Our release is filled with new products that I'm very excited to bring to you. We have things for Halloween and Fall in this release but we wouldn't be Lil' Inker if these things didn't offer you plenty of versatility, right?

So, let's take a look at all of the items in this month's collection.....

First up is a gorgeous collection of hand illustrated florals and Fall ephemera called Fall Foliage that you will love to stamp and color or paint or even heat emboss. Of course, some of the images are versatile enough that you can use them for any occasion. We kept the sentiments cute and simple focusing on a thanks theme because it's perfect for this time of year but all year long as well.

The die set also pictured is our Fall Foliage Dies and they will perfectly cut out the images in the coordinating Fall Foliage Stamps.

Here are a couple of Design Team examples of using this set in a traditional fall theme and a beautiful everyday theme.

This card by Caly Person uses our new Fall Foliage Stamps and Dies as well as our new Stitched Mini Chevron Border (more on that one in a minute). She did a gorgeous job stamping, coloring and die-cutting all of these lovely images and then assembling them into the perfect arrangement. This is just so pretty!

Here is a great example by Jen Carter using the same stamp set yet one wouldn't pinpoint this example as traditionally Fall at all. I love that Jen has shown you that with a little focus on certain images in the set and even selecting a certain color palette can make this set just right for every day. It's especially perfect for lots of occasions when paired with an everyday greeting like the one here with our Hello Word Die Set.

Well done, Ladies!!!!!

Up next are our Harvest Moon Dies and Spooky Trees Dies and these two sets were designed to work together to make a great Halloween or Fall scene but can be used in many ways individually.

Here is a terrific and colorfully painted example by Karen Baker of how this die set works together. First Karen die cut the Harvest Moon Die which cuts right into your paper or card front leaving a little window to the inside. Then, Karen diecut her Spooky Trees and added them behind her little pumpkins. Isn't this great?

This is a fabulous exampled from Heather Hoffman showing us how the new Harvest Moon Die Set isn't just for Halloween!  Heather chose to focus on making these pumpkins POP for Fall and even added in some leaves from our Fall Foliage Stamps.

I couldn't resist showing you this project from Chrissy Larson because she's taking our Spooky Trees to a tag and it turned out AMAZING!!!! She's using so many wonderful LID products here including our Anytime Tags 2 Dies, Here for the Boos Stamps, FaBOOlous Stamps, and Ghost Shaker Die Set. WOW!!!

Up next is our new Stitched Bats Dies. I just couldn't resist, honestly. We have all these FAB ghosts. I knew we were creating the Harvest Moon Die and I thought that both of those things just screamed: "make some bats dies too"! We've given you three sizes here and all feature stitching on the inside and outside of the cut lines so that the bat's negative cuts can be used decoratively.

Here is a great sample project showing our bats in action together with our Harvest Moon Die.

Perfection, right? Well done, Caly!

Introducing our new Stitched Mini Chevron Border Die. This die cuts a border strip that can be applied to any of your projects. Here are some great examples of how this die is a great chameleon and just fits on any style of project!

It's great here as a background!

It's perfect here to create this slightly more feminine frame too!

This is a great basic to add to your collection FOR SURE!!!

Next up are our new Monsters Ink Stamps and Dies. The images and even some of the sentiments are hand illustrated just for Lil' Inker. These Monsters are so fun and adorable and even some of them could be used as aliens if you have an alien-loving little someone in your house! The sentiments are perfect for birthdays and more. I hope it makes you squeal as much as it does for me.

Here are some favorite projects that will make you fall in LOVE with these little dudes.

I love everything about this project from the layout to the colors and coloring. I need to make a card STAT with these guys popping out from behind something. I'm so inspired!

I love how Heather has shown that Monsters aren't just for Halloween. She chose to hi-light how easy it is to use this set to make a set of cards perfect for birthdays and everyday occasions!! Well done, Heather!!!!

Last but not least is our new Boo Balloons Stamps which are entirely hand illustrated just for Lil' Inker with the exception of the largest sentiment on the bottom left of the set. We designed these specifically to coordinate with our existing Balloon Dies so that you can stamp a spooky-sweet group of Halloween Balloons. What I love about this set is the versatility it offers as well because the faces and sentiments can be used for way more things than just for stamping on our balloons.

Here are a couple excellent examples of this set being used with our Balloons Dies and MORE!

Caly executed the epitome of the project I envisioned being created with these new stamps when I was designing them. I love love love this set SO MUCH!!!!

But check out Jen's project because she was able to show you how sweetly these balloons stamp to coordinate with our Monsters Ink Set to make scary-cute birthday cards!

Everyone has done such an amazing and creative job and representing our new products. I can't wait to show you more as our week progresses!!!

What do you think of the new way we're depicting our new products? I'm experimenting with new ways to show you, our amazing customers, what you'll be purchasing in a clear and concise way and at the same time trying to protect our designs.

You should know that Lil' Inker Designs has only a small group of Authorized Retailers and our designs are never sold for reproduction elsewhere. If you see our items for sale in other places there is a very good chance that they are not authentic goods.

Thank you for supporting my small, home-based, one-woman-behind-the-scenes-operation run out of two bedrooms in my home and right from my kitchen table, my favorite place to blog.
