January New Release Blog Hop Day 3

Welcome back for Day 3 of our January New Release Blog Hop!

This being our third release day, I usually just share the images of the new items we released but I encourage you to visit our site or even my Day 1 and Day 2 posts to read all about our new items.

How about a few more projects for today?

I've had SO MUCH fun with the new Perfect Pairs 2 and digging out the previously released set of Perfect Pairs Stamps!

I wanted to show you how nicely our new Radiating Love Heart Die works on a 4.25" square card base. It fits perfectly!  Here I started with a pink base and die cut it first with the main die in the set and then again with the heart die in the set to make a window to the inside of my card. Then, I stamped, colored and die cut this milk & cookies pair (HOW CUTE ARE THESE?) and put them on the inside of the card, but added a sentiment to the outside on a piece of kraft card stock.

Here's a picture of the inside where I used more sentiments to complete my greeting. Squuueee!!! I love these little guys!!!

With this card, I started with a white base which I ink blended with pinks. Then, I laid a white piece over top that's been cut with both our Forever Heart Layer 1 and Forever Heart Layer 2 Dies. To create my focal pieces, I stamped, colored and die cut this cutie couple using the Perfect Pairs 2 Stamps and Dies. I finished the sentiment by using the forever word die from the Forever Heart Layer 1 and heat embossed the friends word from the Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps. Cute, right?

One more project using my favorite couples. This time I used the original Perfect Pairs Stamps and Dies and the new Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps. I started with a white card base on which I did some ink blending. When I was done, I used my Radiating Love Heart Die on the front. I wanted to give my couple an oversized base to sit on so the heart you see here is actually from our Dual Stitched Heart and Kisses Word Die Set which I was thrilled fit perfectly. The rest is simple including the white splotches I made with watered down paint.

I saved this one for last because as it turns out I am in LOOOOOOOVE WITH THIS so I feel like I saved the best for last.  I had this teal card base cut and stamped from our last release using the Cozy Plaid Stamps and I didn't get around to using it so I thought it would make a great holder for my cocoa packet and peppermint spoon. I turned the card base upside down and cut it down with my Dual Dotted Border Builders Die and stuck my treats inside and wrapped it with this great ribbon I had. I create my focal image, I used our new Bear Hugger Die & Stamp Bundle which I die cut from white card stock. I wanted to make this into a panda so I used the panda face stamp and stamped his belly with the big hugs stamp. To give him more of a panda look, I colored his arms, ears and feet with a black copic marker.
Since I wanted to use my bear as a focal image and not as a treat holder I decided to trim down his arms. I was inspired by a project that Heather Hoffman created and shared with my prior to this release. Here's a picture of how I trimmed his arms down with my circle punch tool.

One more look at this! I'm going to send it to a friend who's had a difficult 2019 so far. I hope this will cheer her up!

January New Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hello there,  and welcome to Day 2 of our January New Released Blog Hop!

Our Heartthrob Stamps are truly something else! Use the oblong shapes in the set to stamp a two-step heart! Mix the solid stamp with the patterns for a fun look or layer the solid stamp in coordinating colors. Lots of possibilities! The printed sentiments all stamp to fit on the hearts and the script stamps can be used for so many different projects. I am loving this unique set which just so happens to coordinate with the following new die.

Our Perfect Palette Hearts Die is a lovely layering piece or focal piece and the hearts that cut away fit the Heartthrob Stamps - the two-step hearts and the printed sentiments. This is a must have die for your collection especially if you enjoyed our previously released Perfect Palette Die featuring circles and JUST restocked in the store this week.

Our Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die is quite literally the most perfect stitched background for Valentine's Day and love-themed cards. If you're a fan of our Quilted Stitched Dies this one is a no-brainer!

Are you excited about our new Bear Hugger Die and Stamp Bundle? Do you love that it can also be used to make a Panda Bear? I AM!!!! Use this die and stamp together to make a holder for a small chocolate treat, lollipop and lots more. Our Design Team whipped up some terrific projects using these supplies so be sure to check out the project gallery on our site!

I'm very excited about all of the above new supplies. We have a new set of Perfect Pairs to stamp with in our Perfect Pairs 2 Set and of course a coordinating Perfect Pairs 2 Die Set AND we have an expansion set of sentiments for our original Perfect Pairs Stamps that I'm calling Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps. That's a whole lot of perfect, right?!

Here are two brand new script greeting dies that are just right - pretty and pretty large to make the most simple greetings on your card fronts. Love love love!!!

Last but not least is our new Radiating Love Heart Die. I'm truly loving what a fun frame-like piece this is making for lots of different focal options. There is a lot this little die set can do and I'm so so pleased with how this idea turned out. The main die stitches a pattern that leaves the shape of a heart inside because of how the stitching lines are arranged. Inside that heart, you can stamp a sentiment or add another focal image. We've also included a heart die which can be cut and layered over the main die or can cut a window through to the inside of your card.

How about a couple of projects to spark some inspiration?

Here is the first card I made when I began crafting for this release.

I started with the scribbled lines stamp in the Cozy Plaid Stamps and made this two-toned plaid grid which I turned into this neat focal piece by stamping some hearts in some of the blank spaces and cutting some others out with a craft knife. I continued to make this even more detailed by using my scissors to chip into the edges. I like how this turned out and decided to layer it over my pink card base with foam tape. Over the whole piece, I added our new Sending My Love Die in black which I hi-lighted with a white gel pen. Oh, and the heart stamp I used is from our Love is Love Stamp Set.

Next up, I wanted to put our new Radiating Love Heart Die to use. I started with a kraft card base and used the main die and cut. Here's a tip for use. To make using this die even more simple, I marked the back of it like this so that I could more perfectly align it on my card fronts without any second guessing!

Once my stitched pattern was cut, I used the smaller die in the set, the solid heart, to cut out a piece of paper I stamped in red with my Cozy Plaid Stamps. Over that I laid our Hugs Word Die cut from cork card stock and a heat embossed greeting from our new Heartthrob Stamps. Love this!!

Here I was going for the candy hearts look and I think I achieved it using the print stamps in our new Heartthrob Stamps. Did you know that I chose this font because I was so inspired by Rae Dunn ceramics?  The candy hearts were created using our new Perfect Palette Hearts Die which I cut from several pastel colors of paper and used the solid hearts that cut away and stamped my sentiments in pink just like real "Conversation Hearts". I aligned them all over a white card base cut with our new Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die which is so SO pretty and perfect for Valentine's Day or love-themed cards.

I hope you are enjoying my projects! Are you ready for some more? You MUST visit our Design Team and see their creativity. It's amazing how the creative mind thinks and how many different creations can be made with the same supplies.

Also, we've just restocked a couple of very popular supplies from last year's Valentine's Day Release - our Forever Heart Die Layer 2 and Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die.

Both of which have small improvements to make using them easier! Here are some fab projects made with these supplies together with the coordinating Forever Heart Die Layer 1. EDITED TO ADD: the Forever Heart Die Layer 2 and Love You More Than Greeting Dies arrived with manufacturing flaws to my great dismay. If you received am email communication from me regarding the restock of these dies be aware that I had to remove them from inventory, however, I am assured by my manufacturer that they are rectifying the situation ASAP! Thank you.

That's it for me today! I will see you tomorrow for one last, creativity-filled release day!
