July New Release Hop Day 3

Hola! How is everyone doing today? I'm so excited to read that you're enjoying our new release hop!

Today is Day 3 of our new release hop and it's the day where I do a little recap of everything we've released this week. Are you ready?

If you'd like to read more about the items that are new to the store this week, please visit our Day 1 and Day 2 Posts or head on over to OUR STORE where each product has an in depth product description including sizes and a fabulous project gallery!

Today I'm here with three new projects that somewhat highlight our new Animal Doctors Stamps and Dies and our Perfect Palette Die. Let's get right to them!

Man, these stamps are so cute! Here I started by stamping and heat embossing the three main set characters in white onto colored card stock. Once I die cut them out the rest was super easy! I cut out a frame for them using my Dual Stitched Rectangles Dies and then stamped some accessories around the border with Versamark Ink and added the feel better sentiment as you see there which is also heat embossed. A little patterned paper on the inside and it was complete. How cute are these little animals? They make me feel better just looking at them.

I wanted to show you how versatile the Perfect Palette Die is so I wanted to show you that it can be converted to a square card base. Here I started with a square aqua base which I die cut with our Silly Stitched Squares (largest die). Then, from the same color paper I die cut using our Perfect Palette. Then, I just trimmed off the bottom row and then used my 1/4" corner rounder to shape the edges and what would you know.....it's perfect as a square!!
I also used the Scooter Balloons Stamps and converted it into a bunch of balloons without the scooter which was really easy to do. I stamped the birthday balloons and colored them and used the right die to cut them out. I extended the strings with a black pen and just trimmed as shown. I also added a bow from the Bunnies and Bows Set to "tie" them together.

Here's the Perfect Palette Die again but this time I used the circle openings as windows for my little kitties from the Cat Hugs Stamp Set. I started by stamping the cats and then die cutting them with their coordinating die to cut their little paws. Then, I trimmed out some of the cats and colored them and just popped them in the little circles and added their coordinating hearts. Also seen here is our Hello Word Die Set and a sentiment from the Cat Hugs Stamps. These stamps are currently OOS BUT they'll be back in just a few more weeks. I love how this turned out!

July Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hi there. I hope you're enjoying our new release hop! Today is Day 2 and if you missed Day 1 please be sure and go back and see!

Here again is a look at everything we released this week.

Animal Doctors is a fabulous set of goodies. Not only is it cute but I found that it fills a gap in my collection as I didn't have hardly anything for get well or a cute feel better card. I bet you'll find yourself reaching for this one a lot! I love that the animals and accessories are hand drawn as are some of the sentiments.

This Quilted Stitched So Stylish Die is so gorgeous. This stitched pattern is next to none.

Our Perfect Palette Die and Spiffy Spots Stamps are truly something special. They are a wonderful addition to your collection. I really like these supplies because I feel like the spots can do a million different things for you and the palette can be very versatile. These are two big bang for your bucks kinds of products!

Let's talk a little more about our new Scooter Balloons Stamps and Dies. Aren't these fun and different? They make for the best clean and simple cards. I've found to get perfect stamp to die results, I stamped my balloons first and then die cut. Then, using my MISTI I stamped in my scooter. I would recommend this method as I got the most perfectly aligned die cut images.
I thought this was a really fun way to give someone a card with a simple greeting that was sure to make someone smile.

Here are three cards I made using these supplies.

I started first, like I mentioned, my stamping my balloons then die cutting and used my MISTI to stamp in my scooters. Then, I did some quick Copic marker coloring to make these come to life.

I decided that each card should be the same so I used stone card bases which I then stamped with a spot from the Spiffy Spots Stamps in coordinating soft grey ink. I thought it sort of resembled cobblestones and it looks really cute.

Then, I stamped a couple of coordinating greetings and laid them over the bases as shown and now I have a set of three cards that I can call on in a pinch. I'm really very happy with how these turned out.

What do you think? Aren't these so fun??

July Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hi there!!!!!!! Even though we had a release last month it feels like it's been FOREVER!!!!!! How is everyone?
I'm here to show off our new stamps and dies are you ready for a peek?

First up is a new set I've called Animal Doctors.

How cute is this?? It features doctors or surgeons and a nurse - all animals and all super cute and they're here to make you feel all better! I've also included several supporting images all of which can be used to make the greatest get well cards. Some of the sentiments were hand illustrated and then the smaller type sentiments can be paired with the hand illustrated ones for the perfect greetings.

Pair our Animals Doctors Stamps with their coordinating Animal Doctors Die Set. It was designed to cut out all of the main and supporting images in the set perfect and with ease!

Ahhhhhhh, our Scooter Balloons Stamps......I worked SO HARD on this set with our illustrator and I'm so happy with the way it turned out. It features a scooter stamp, which happens to be heading right at you so you see the front fender and trailing behind and above are a group of three balloons each with its own special message. We've also included a couple of small, but coordinating phrases to make a complete greeting.

Here is a Scooter Balloon Die Set which will cut out perfectly our scooter and it's balloon messages! I recommend stamping your balloons first then die cutting and then stamping in your scooter. It's how I got the best results during my crafty time. I was able to stamp in the scooter onto the die cut perfectly using my MISTI stamping tool.

Here is the latest in the collection of Quilted Stitched Dies. Quilted Stitched So Stylish is done in a bold and, ha, stylish design. Do you love it? I do! The pattern resembles little bursting stars, don't you think? You are going to love this way this die stitches this pattern into your card fronts with just one pass through your die cutting machine. It's got the be the BEST way to easily add pattern and texture to your paper crafted projects.

Our Perfect Palette Die could be described as a geometric basic, but it can be used for so many different things. You might even say it resembles an eye shadow palette which is where it got it's name. This die cuts a rounded rectangle .25" smaller than an A2 card base making it a perfect layering piece for card fronts. It also cuts away twelve perfect circles. These circles can be used for other projects and the windows they leave behind can be used to spotlight or highlight images behind them. This is a fun one and I think will prove even more important to your crafting collection once you've had a chance to play with it.
It was designed with this next stamp set in mind called Spiffy Spots. It's the perfect companion!!!

Our Spiffy Spots Stamp Set is a set of 17 Stamps. It features these intricate and interestingly drawn circles in many sizes that are so fun to stamp with. I wonder if my Design Team will remember how long they've had this in their "To Be Released Pile"? When I looked back at my manufacturer's invoice these have been in their hands since March-ish....2017!!!!!!!!! YIKES!!!!!!!!! Why did I wait so long??? I honestly have NO IDEA because this is fabulous and fun to work with. Most of the circles in the set can be stamped and shown right through the windows of our Perfect Palette Die. I've also included a couple of cute but simple greetings. Some of these stamp right into the circles on the palette die and some will be perfect stamped on a little scrap and layered over your design. Lots of possibilities here. Love this!!!

Would you like to see some samples I made using some of the things from your new release? I have three projects to share with you today using our new Spiffy Spots Stamps and more!

This first card couldn't be any easier to make. I simply took a spot stamp from the set and stamped it horizontally across my card front and then heat embossed the thank you sentiment from the set right over it. This came together so quickly and easily and this would be a perfect design to mass produce using the different sentiments in the set so that you could have a bunch for different occasions on hand. I used my Fresh Inks which are the most fab inks I've ever stamped with!!!!

For my next project I stared with a watercolor paper base and I used my Zig Real Brush Markers and an aqua brush to paint the circles you see. Then, once this was dry I heat embossed some of the spots from the set right over some of the circles. Then, I used my Hello Word Die Set to create the layered but simple hello greeting you see. I'm obsessed with how this turned out.

I might love this card the most. I started with a white square base and I used the flat side of some of the stamps in the set to create the circles you see. They were easily achieved with an ombré ink from Hero Arts. I love that these are imperfectly shaped circles. It give this such a happy feel. Then, using four circles cut from our Perfect Palette Die I stamped one of the images in block on each and then adhered them as shown on foam tape. I heat embossed the greetings sentiment and glued the strip over my raised circles.

What do you think? YES!! These are SO FUN TO PLAY WITH!!!!!
