February New Release Blog Hop Day 3

Good morning! It's the third and final day of our new release blog hop and I have more things I'd love to share with you. Let's get right to it!

If you're just joining us for the first time today, be sure to go back and read our Day 1 and Day 2 posts because I shared a lot of details and information about our new items. Today, I'm going to share the product images, some GREAT examples from our Design Team using the new products and a couple of new projects I made that I haven't shared yet. Sound okay?

Here is a terrific project by designer, Lisa Henke! If this doesn't make you want to play with our new Sassy Girl Dies and Stamps........Isn't she the sweetest? I love the color Lisa used for her hair, blush and lips and her overall layout. FABULOUS job, Lisa!

Here is a great project by Amy Kolling using our new Sassy Pants Stamps. This project really shows off how this sentiment stamp will work within your collection as an amazing compliment to stamps and dies already in your collection! Isn't this so pretty? Also in the limelight here are our Best Mom Stamps and Dies.

This is one ridiculously amazing project by Chrissy Larson using our new Snarky Shadow Hello Stamps & Die Bundle. This whole project just deserves to be shown off!!!

I just love what Jen Carter did here with our new Cover Up Die: Mod Circles. Her rainbow is gorgeous and Jen did a lot of work here inlaying the pieces. She did a lot of work here and it paid off!!! WOW!!!

I was so compelled to share this project from Kim Rendino because the color combo is stunning and I love how she's shown that our Fabulous Word Die works so well with so many of the other items released in this collection! It's sooo good, right??!

I wanted to share this adorable card by Heather Hoffman because it's the paws-itively perfect example of how our Dog Hugs Stamps require minimal coloring and it still has an amazing and bold imact! Here, Heather die cut her image with the Dog Hugs Die Set and added in the little present accessory to hold in their hands...um...paws. So cute right??!!

I'm also bonkers for this card using Dog Hugs by Karen Baker. She did this in sepia tones and I'm blown away!!! Again, minimal color AND I like how she used the image on a portrait layout of a A2 card and a combination of sentiments from the set. I think this is so so great and how the accessories were kept simple but are such a part of this design to add in a wash of color. Impressive!!

Speaking of Dog Hugs. Here are some projects I made using these fabulous new supplies.

First, I stamped my image using my stamping tool. I added in minimal coloring and then die cut the image with the heads border die attached to the paws dies. Then I stamped, colored and die cut the hearts and added them to the paws to hold.

I keep them in place, I added a dot of glue to the back of each heart and then a little more to the reverse of the paws before adhering to my pink card base. Then, I heat embossed the sentiment you see onto black cardstock and adhered it to the bottom of my crowd of puppies. I really like how this turned out.

I also wanted to show you how this stamp can be used to make some cute tags too! In fact, one stamp was used here to make two tags! Love that!

I'm so delighted with how these turned out! Let me share some details with you. We'll start with the aqua tag.

One my image was stamped and colored and die cut and my tags were cut using our Embossed Dots Tags Dies, I lined up my tag to my stamped image so I could eyeball placement and I cut my stamped image in half and trimmed for optimal use on the tag. A little tip - I made sure that the lowest row of dog's paws was above the edge of my tag. To dress u the aqua version of my tag, I stamped, colored and die cut several presents which I added to all but one dog. In the remaining dog's paws I added a flag with a stamped greeting from the set. I used our Sentiment Flag Die Original and for the pole just trimmed a sliver of paper for my pup to hold. Squuuuueeeeee!!!

For my final tag, I did the same alignment and trimming for optimal use of the image on the tag. Once adhered I stamped each doggie with a pair of sunglasses in black ink. It's really nice that between the two options for sunglasses in the set that we have glasses that fit every dog! The sunglasses give the dogs a whole different look, right? Then, each one received a little to-go coffee mug to hold and one also received a flag which I made the same way as above. I feel like I could have made 10, 000 of these tags! I feel like they turned out so cute and I'm excited to either add them to gifts as tags or add them to a card front.....who am I kidding? I won't be able to part with these! HA!!!

Would you like to have this entire release for your very own?

February New Release Hop Day 2

Welcome back, craft friends, to Day 2 of our New Release Blog Hop!

From the looks of it based on yesterday's comments and feedback, you are already loving these new release items and honestly, nothing makes me happier!!!!

Let's have another look today at the new items that have joined our crafty lineup.

Sassy Girl Dies and Stamps are fun. If you have a bestie or even a little girl in your life, THESE supplies will make the BEST birthday cards for them ever!!!

While the die set can be used on its own, it really does come to life with the stamp set which not only includes some terrific sentiment stamps but some additional accessories stamps for her face and hair.

If you'd like to see what these dies and stamps can do when used together here a little preview and HERE is a link to a stamp and die index I created for you which you can print and store with your new supplies for reference.

It's been a long time since LID has released a set of just sentiments with the snark and sass we're known for. Sassy Pants is a terrific set with plenty of sass and spunk. I like that this set can be used for so many different occasions. For example, what about an anniversary card using the sentiment that says "There is nobody else I'd rather lie in bed with and look at my phone next to!" HA!!! Lots of other fun and funny sayings here great for get well cards, birthdays and more. It's a great one to have in your collection!

I hope that lots of you add our Snarky Shadow Hello Stamps to your collection!!!! I think these are FABULOUS. The main hello greeting is fun to stamp with its shadow stamp in different color combos and the sentiments are non-traditional yet funny and fresh!!!!

Our Dog Hugs Stamps and Die Set are sold separately, but you must trust me on this....if you're purchasing the stamp, really considering getting the die as well because this stamp set comes to life once you die cut around all the paws and the pups can hold little accessories. Gah! The adorableness is overwhelming!!!

The stamp itself is 5.50" wide so it fits the width of a horizontal A2 card easily yet leaves room to add a sentiment and you will love the sentiments in this set with a dog-pun theme.

If you're a stamper who makes cards from "all of us" like, the whole office or the whole family this is a great set too!

Need I say more? This Fabulous Word Die fabulously stands on its own and very nicely compliments some of the other items we're releasing this week and with a wee price point, it's a great one to snag and add to your collection!

I'm sorry if I sound crazy or biased even but every crafter on the planet NEEEEEDS our Cover Up Die: Mod Circles in their collection!!! It's that good!!!! I was inspired to make it based on a rug pattern I'd seen and it translates even better to paper.

Jennifer McGuire recently did a video on a Faux Layering Die technique and she 100000% inspired me to try that technique this with die. It's literally perfect for this technique!

HERE is a link to her video...go ahead...watch it and then come back I'll wait!! HA!!

.....

See how the center of this die can easily be trimmed down and out for layering?

Here are a couple of projects I made using this technique and I'll explain a few simple steps how I easily achieved this look using our new Cover Up Die: Mod Circles.

First, find at least three pieces of coordinating card stock that are in the same color family which go from light to dark. Here I've used (in order), Aqua Mist, Hawaiin Shores (Papertrey Ink), Bermuda Bay and Tempting Turquoise (Stampin' Up).  (I hope I'm right about these colors. All my cardstock is together and I only ever purchase from Papertrey and Stampin' Up so it's definitely a combo between the two companies.)

I first die cut using Aqua Mist and set aside. The next two layers are the ones that will need to be trimmed down.

For your second layer, die cut and then trim off about 1/8 using a paper trimmer from either side of the center line of this die making two pieces. Adhere each piece to layer one making sure a little peeks through behind it.

Repeat for layer three but this time, trim out the entire center line of this die and adhere again making sure some color peeks through.

You don't have to do this but I adhered all three pieces together and then onto a fourth piece of cardstock that coordinated and I am obsessed!!!!!!

One more look so you can see how nicely the Snarky Shadow Hello Stamp and Die Bundle worked here. I stamped in black and then in turquoise for the shadow and heat embossed a sentiment in white onto a black strip that says "obviously you know who this card is from". AAAhahahahaha!! I love how this came together!!!

This is my favorite of the two probably because it's in pinks. Again I used four shades of pink here going from lightest to darkest and repeated the process. To dress this one up this time, I used a cat image from our Cat Treats Stamps which I love so much and if you don't have them get them because there is an image of two cute cats taking a selfie that makes me giddy! I used the party cat image and coordinated it with a sentiment from our new Sassy Pants Stamps. See how these stamps can just about be paired with anything? They say the cutest things AND I like that the fonts have a bit of flair instead of being flat.

Do you love these??? I do! So much! Don't you love when you make things and you're so proud of how they came together? It's the best feeling!!!!

February New Release Blog Hop Day 1

YESSSS!!! I'm so happy to be here today and with some sassy and fabulous new products for you to enjoy!!!

Let's get right to showing off the new goodies!!

I am SO EXCITED about this first set as it's been a long time in the making! Introducing Dog Hugs - the canine lover's version of our original Cat Hugs Stamps!!!

This is a large 6x8 set featuring this adorable line up of pups exactly 5.50" wide fitting the horizontal width of an A2 card base. The set also features fun accessories for the dogs to hold in their sweet little paws and fantastic coordinating sentiments for lots of cardmaking occasions like thanks and birthday. This is also a great set when you want to give someone a card from "all of us" like in an office setting or even from class to a teacher.

This entirely hand illustrated set is extra special when used with its coordinating die set which does a couple of different things - it's really like three die sets in one.

In our Dog Hugs Die Set, there is a coordinating die for every accessory in the set. Then, there are two additional dies; a die which will cut along the top border edge of the dogs and a set of paws dies. These two pieces can be left wired together for use at the same time. The paws dies are especially cool because they make cuts all around the paws so that the dogs can actually hold their accessories!

You will receive both the stamp and die with your purchase which is great! This is truly a fun set to play with. First, stamp the hello word in any color you like and then stamp its coordinating shadow in a complementary color. It's easy to line up with a clear block or stamping tool like the MISTI. The shadow really makes this word POP! Then, you have a whole bunch of sentiments to pair with this word for so many different card making occasions and of course, all of the sentiments are done in a sassy or snarky tone. This is a great die and stamp set for making a quick and easy set of cards!

This might be my most favorite cover up die in our collection of all time!! Our Cover Up Die Mod Circles is so pretty! It's classic and classy but so modern and fresh featuring circles that are linked and overlapping. This is a fun die to use to create a faux layering look!

This Fabulous Word Die....well, it's fabulous of course and pairs well with so many of the new stamps and dies in this release.  It really stands alone to create a simple greeting and is perfect for all the fabulous ladies in your life!

Our new Sassy Pants Stamps is a set of sentiments done in a snarky or sassy tone! I have been waiting for the perfect time to release this. Ask the DT, they've had this FOREVER!!!! I am so excited to release it today because it mixes and matches so nicely with so many of the dies and stamps in this release and it can be used for so many different card making occasions like thanks, birthdays, friendship and love to name a few.

This might be my personal favorite in this release! Our Sassy Girl Dies and Stamps work together to make the sweetest little face and I love that her hair is in a messy bun because that's typically the look I sport on an everyday basis!!  WAIT until you see this set in action!!!

The stamps contain lots of sentiments and accessories that really bring the dies to life. It includes flower stamps for her hair, a headband or bow and two different sets of lashes that are FABULOUS!!!

Here are a couple of projects I made using these new supplies.

Here I started with a 4.25" card base and I stamped it with the scribble lines stamp in our Cozy Plaid Stamp Set to make this trendy plaid. Then, I die cut the face from vanilla card stock and added some sponged distressed inks to get a warmer skin tone. I added in her blush using a mini blending tool which worked great.  Then, I die cut her hair from kraft paper and added in some flicks with my Copic markers to get a more realistic hair look which I then topped with a sparkly crown. To finish her face I stamped her lashes and die cut her lips. The sentiment was created with our Border Builders Die Set and I just think this is perfect!

What I like about these supplies so much is how different you can make the faces look by where you place the eyes and lips. In the above example, her face is a little chubbier, like mine, because I put her lips a little higher up. See how different she looks in the example below?

Here is used all the same supplies to make my face but this time I added flowers to her hair which I LOVE!!!!! I stamped them and die cut them in matching colors and used the same technique on her hair as I did in the first project. I love the way this turned out. This time I used a sentiment from our Sassy Pants Stamps. See how perfect these sets are together???

Would you be interested in winning this entire release for your very own?
