Today I Received This Stunner!!

Hi Everyone! I opened the mail today and received this card from my friend LeAnne Pugliese and I just had to share it. Not only is it a fabulous design, it's an amazingly fabulous use of the Sentiment Flags stamp set! Check it out.....

I just love the little snowman LeAnne made with buttons and hand cut cold weather accessories. I don't know how she did it but his scarf literally looks like it's blowing back in the breeze. I love how she did her snow using vellum and glitter. And have you checked out how she added her sentiment?? THAT'S RIGHT! It's the flag pole from the Sentiment Flags stamp set along with the wavy flag stamp which LeAnne has hand cut and I LOVE it like that. This is just super great! I love seeing what people are doing with my stamp set and die and especially love this one using the flag pole stamp. It's just so stinkin' clever.

Sentiment Flags die and stamp set is back in stock and will ship in time for Christmas! I'm even adding gift wrap at no additional cost. You can add your gift wrap request in a message to me at check out. Check out is available via the Add to Cart button at the top right of this page. Happy shopping and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

Head on over to Wee Inklings to visit my pal LeAnne and to experience all her crafty goodness for yourself. Enjoy!

Sentiment Flags & Tags

Good morning! Just stopping by quickly to share this holiday tag I made featuring Sentiment Flags. I love discovering new purposes for Sentiment Flags! It makes a great way to feature a sentiment on a gift tag. Have a look....

I've had this reindeer kicking around for a few weeks. I punched him out with a new punch from EK Success and texturized him with my wood grain texture plate from PTI. I tied a ribbon around his neck along with a tiny jingle bell and added a glitter dot to his nose. Then I couldn't figure out what to do with him! So I decided a gift tag was in order and covered a tag with a scrap of paper from Cosmo Cricket's Oh Joy paper pack which is digital and available at Jessica Sprague. Then I stamped a Sentiment Flag with a white border using the polka dotted border from the Sentiment Flags stamp set and added my holiday sentiment in Ridinghood Red ink. I like how it turned out with my gingham ribbon which is older than dirt and might be the first ribbon I ever purchased (and still have because I'm a hoarder!)

You could even use Sentiment Flags on a tag to add a "To & From" stamp or even write by hand! Again, many versatile uses and I'm so glad I got a chance to show you this today!

Sentiment Flags makes a great stocking stuffer for a crafty friend or for yourself! At only $15 plus s&h, the price is right and I can even add pretty gift wrap at your request at no additional charge. We still have plenty of time to ship in time for the holidays!

Just click on the Add to Card button at the top right hand corner of this page to check out securely via PayPal.

Something New For You!

Hi there! These new digis I purchased from digistampcharacters on Etsy are really getting my creativity going. I colored this guy a few nights ago and thought it would be a good one to pair with Sentiment Flags. So I thought I would play along with this week's Sketch For You To Try and saw we could use any past sketch so I pulled out this one:

Here is what I did:

I got a HUGE (for me) response on my Color Throwdown card this week over at Splitcoast Stampers, so I tried my hand at another "ribbon collage". I've had this Merry Christmas twill in my stash for a few years and this is the first time I've whipped it out! I think it looks nice tied around the red and white ribbon. I added a corduroy button and some jingle bells and baker's twine. Following the sketch I used some of my most favorite Mitten Weather papers from Cosmo Cricket.

Of course I manage to sneak in a Sentiment Flag die, but this time I stamped a dotted background and added my sentiment in eggplant ink and opted for no border. Just one more way SF can be used!

Sentiment Flags die and stamp set have been restocked here in the shop and retail for $15 plus s&h. I happen to think they make a fabulous stocking stuffer for a crafty friend at that price! Click on the Add to Cart button on the top right hand side of this page to get yours in time for the holidays!

Proof Set Available & Eye Candy

Hello there! I'm back again with another stock update and more gorgeous eye candy for your viewing pleasure!

First off, I have ONE proof set of stamps still in stock and available for purchase right now. The price is reduced to $13.50 plus s&h and comes bundled with the die.
This set is EXACTLY the same as far as quality as a regularly sold set, however, the flag pole is different. It is shorter and can be colored in but the 5 sentiments and 5 borders are all exactly the same, no changes.

After playing around with the proofs that were mailed to me, I decided the flag pole in the final set should be longer and a solid image so that small change was made.

If this doesn't bother you and you'd like to get your hands on the sentiments and borders now as opposed to waiting I invite you to click on over to add it to your cart.

Plenty of single dies are still available for purchase by themselves at $5 plus s&h and I will know in a few days when I will have more of the regular (non-proof) stamp sets back in stock.

While you're here, check out this FABULOUS eye candy made by my friend Tammy Hershberger....

Tammy made this cutey card using new stamps and snowflake die from The Cat's Pajamas. Isn't her placement of the Sentiment Flag with the snowflake just so perfect?! Again, it makes me smile to see how well Sentiment Flags coordinates perfectly with all of your favorite stamps! :) You can read more about Tammy's card on her blog HERE! Stop on by and make sure you said I sent you!

Stock Update & Eye Candy!

Hello there! I wanted to stop by quickly today to let you know that if you have been waiting to order a Sentiment Flags die and stamp set, you may be in luck! I am planning to get a small quantity back in stock in the very near future, so please stay tuned. I should know for sure by the middle to end of next week. And did I mention what FANTASTIC stocking stuffers this little bundle makes for the crafty friends in your life?!
While you're here I ran across a most FABULOUS card made by Amy Sheffer which uses Sentiment Flags in a really fun way! Check it out....

I mean, seriously fabulous, right? Amy made this card using stamps from Verve's new release called Wordy Birds and Text Objects. I can't think of a more creative way to use Sentiment Flags....birdies on a wire? LOVE LOVE LOVE! I think it's really cool that Sentiment Flags has so many versatile uses and can coordinate so well with so many of your favorite stamps! To read more about Amy's card, please visit her blog HERE.

Thank you to Amy Sheffer and Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps for allowing me to use their images in my post today! MWAH!

If anyone is still interested in purchasing the Sentiment Flags stamp set and die bundle, please contact me at lpryor1@hotmail.com

Also, I have two or three sets that were sent to me as proofs. There is nothing different as far as quality; the sentiments and borders are all intact and exactly the same. Another Fun Sentiment Flags Tree!

I couldn't help myself! I just had to make another Christmas Tree using Sentiment Flags and I did just that for today's Color Throwdown Challenge.

I felt in my first post showing you a tree like this, I could have given you more details as to how to make the tree and so here I am with a few photos and a brief explanation.

Start by cutting 5 Sentiment Flags from green felt.
Take one flag, fold it in half and using sharp scissors cut a *V* out of the flag using the flag end as your guide and then tie baker's twine or even ribbon directly in the center of your flag.

Now take 2 Sentiment Flags and stack them neatly and evenly on top of one and other and cut off approximately one quarter of an inch from the flat end(without the tail. Keeping the flags in place, I quickly stitched the ends together with the flags on top of one and other...nothing fancy, just secure enough!
Now open your flag and repeat twine treatment directly in the center.
Repeat this step above cutting off less so that your bottom branch will be the longest when complete.

I used a popsicle stick to complete my tree, but you don't have to. You could use a paper base, but I kind of liked this idea so I went with it and covered my stick with cork paper for the bark of the tree. Then, where my branches will be I glued on some felt scraps to cover up the cork from showing a bit, but you don't have to. Leaving some rooms for your star, glue down your branches putting them as close together as possible and lining up your centers as best you can. Trim *trunk* if you like, but you don't have to. I'm using craft and mini glue dots where ever I say glue down, by the way. They are the easiest glue to work with in my opinion.

You're going to laugh at me, but I don't have a small star punch! So I had to come up with a way to make one. I used the stem of an exclamation point from an alphabet die set that I have. It's the Junior alpha from SU I believe and I just glued them together in the shape of a star, added a button with sparkle twine and glued to my stick with a pop up dot. CUTE right??!!

It seems like a lot of steps having typed it all out, but it actually goes together pretty quickly! Try one for yourself! I have plently of single Sentiment Flags dies in stock today. A die by itself is only $5 plus s&h. The bundles are priced at $15 for the stamp set and die plus s&h and currently there are only two left in stock!

Thanks so so much for coming by today!
Have a fantastic holiday!

Noel Banner - Finished Project

Good afternoon! I thought I would stop by quickly and show you the finished card I made using the Noel banner I made and posted a few days ago. I think I stared at this banner for three weeks before I knew what to pair it with. I finally found this Pure Innocence digi on ETSY and thought it was perfect.

I stared by coloring my image with Copics and paper piecing her hat, scarf, mitten and boots with my favorite holiday papers Mitten Weather from Cosmo Cricket which I got from I Heart Papers. I fun flocked her hat and boots and added some red glitter glue to the ornaments on the tree for some extra shine and detail. I layered my image on a Mitten Weather panel layered with a felt scallop and added in some stitching. I added my ribbon and button and then glued my Noel Banner into place.
If you didn't read my earlier post about this banner, you can HERE. I made it using my Sentiment Flags die!!
I'm so glad I followed through on manufacturing this die! It's so fun and versatile! There are currently only TWO bundles left in the shop. You can click on the Add to Cart button to order your die and coordinating stamp set for only $15.00 plus s&H!
I'm off to enjoy some time in my craft room. Big Keith and Keithie are at Grammy and Grampy's while I craft and catch up on some crafting, cleaning and laundry!
Thanks for stopping by today!!

A Fun Banner & A Stock Update

Good morning! I made this lil' banner a week or so ago, but just haven't found the time to add it to a card of some kind. So I thought I would share this with you this morning.

It was SUPER easy to make. I die cut 4 Sentiment Flags from card stock (which is the package insert from my glitter letters..I thought it was SO cute) and added my glitter letters to them. I folded the tops of my flags over a piece of twine and secured them on the back side with some tape. I added my green satin pleated ribbon across all of the flags, added in some baker's twine and silver pearls. Cute, right?
You should try making your own! Sentiment Flags die and stamp set is available for only $15 plus s&h. BUT HURRY because there are only three stamp set and die bundles left! You can check out by using the Add to Cart button at the top of this page. Once they are gone, you can e-mail me at lpryor1@hotmail.com for an inventory update.
If I get in some crafting time, I will be sure to use this banner on a project and post again...sort of a before and after thing!

Morning!

Ok, so it's almost afternoon! I'm stopping by with a very quick post today showing you one way you can use Sentiment Flags to make cutey lil' Christmas Trees!
Have a peek...

I started by cutting 5 Sentiment Flags from green felt and made my tree's branches by layering them together and tying them off with some baker's twine. It was pretty easy actually. Then I made a topper from my tree with a button and star and some new sparkle baker's twine I found on ETSY which I LOVE LOVE LOVE. I added my branches and topper to a Popsicle stick and covered the bottom of the stick with cork paper for the tree bark.

I put everything together using today's Sketch For You To Try from Jen del Muro along with some Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather papers which I got at I Heart Papers and a few extra fun little details like the hand sewn linen thread border and the folded paper border which I then cut using my scallop die from MFT.

Hope you like it! It was really fun to make! Make one of your own! You can buy my Sentiment Flag die by itself for only $5 plus s&h or for $15 together with it's coordinating stamp set which has some really fun borders, sentiments and a flag pole for extra fun. Check out using the Add to Cart button at the top right of this page.

Have a great weekend!!

SFYTT & Sentiment Flags!!

Good morning!! It's a very exciting day for me. Today Lil' Inker with ag designs is sponsoring this week's Sketch For You To Try! I have been a fan of Jen del Muro and the SFYTT Sisters for a very long time so to be able to see them use, enjoy and create beautiful projects with Sentiment Flags is just so cool!
For those of you who are not yet familiar with Sentiment Flags, the idea popped into my head one day when I literally cut my finger trying to cut a ribbon-tail end into a sentiment panel and I thought there had to be a better way. When I did some research and found that there was not a die on the market to support this shape I thought that maybe I would try my hand and manufacturing it and then I created the coordinating stamp set so you can jazz up your flags with fun borders and perfectly sized sentiments! Facebook actually re-connected myself and Ariana Grant of ag designs. Ariana is a friend of mine from high school and works full-time as a professional graphics designer and we're partnering together on this project.
Each of our products are proudly manufactured in the USA. The steel laser-cut die can cut lots of different materials like felt, cork and card stock and the photo polymer stamps are super clingy and produce sharp images.
Sentiment Flags die and coordinating stamp set are available today and retail for $15plus shipping. You can order by clicking on the Add To Cart button on the top right of this blog and check out securely and easily via PayPal.
I am proud to say that I feel like Sentiment Flags has been created in such a way that it will coordinate so nicely with so many of your existing stamps and embellishments and you get more bang for your buck as the flag will fit SO MANY of the sentiments you already have in your collection
Here is the fun sketch that Jen has created for us today....

And here's how I put Jen's sketch and Sentiment Flags together

I really wanted to showcase one of the fun features of the Sentiment Flags stamp set which is the flag-pole stamp. I love how the little football player looks like he is waving his flag. And I can picture this as being versatile way to display a sentiment for lots of different projects, can't you?

I hope you will get a chance to play along with the sketch this week. Please visit Jen's website HERE to read all about participating and see what the SFYTT Sisters have created as well! One lucky participant this week will be selected to receive their very own Sentiment Flags die and stamp set!! Yahooooo!!!!

A HUGE thank you to Jen del Muro for supporting today's sponsorship and to Megan Lock for coordinating with the team and I on the details and to the design team for their lovely creations!! THANK YOU!!!

If you're here, you're awesome! Please consider leaving me your thoughts and comments and as always, thanks for stopping by today! As I am posting this my little guy just woke up screaming :( so I will be back in the morning to put some polish on this post :) Thanks for understanding...we've all had these nights, right?

I used Sentiment Flags in a totally NEW way today and I'm so excited that I got the chance to show you this (and not to mention the time in my craft room to do it)! I decided to try using the die as a banner and I think it worked out PERFECTLY and as planned! I cut four flags and stamped each of them with eggplant ink before cutting them down to a more banner-like size. I added my HB2U letters, one to each and then added a small scallop trim to the top of each and connected them together with my new baker's twine which I picked up on from Paper treats on ETSY HERE SO CHEAP! I bought 100 yards in 4 different colors for $6.95!!! YAHOO!!!!

Flagging In!

Hello and thanks for joining me today. I have a project to share showcasing Sentiment Flags today:

You can read more about the Color Throwdown and my post HERE.
This project was done a little bit differently today. I made a couple of different Sentiment Flags for this project using the same color combo on kraft paper (which I love) and I can decide on the flag I want to use depending on which purpose comes up first! And whatever is left over can easily be used for something else. What really helped this to come together quickly was having more than one die! I could cut many Sentiment Flags from the same scrap of paper with one pass through my Big Kick. I love that! And that's another great thing about this die, I'm using up so many bits of scraps for my flags. It makes me glad I took the time to save them all! HA!
Remember, Sentiment Flags die and stamp set is available now by clicking the Add To Cart button on the top right of this page and retails for $15.00 plus shipping! I think you will love reaching for this product again and again! And I know you will be impressed with the quality of these products and that's SOO important to me :)
Please stay tuned for next week as Lil' Inker Designs with ag designs will be the sponsor of the Color Throwdown Challenge! Come play along! One lucky participant will be chosen at random to receive a FREE Sentiment Flags die and stamp set!! YAHOO!
Nice to see you today! Thanks for stopping by!

Fun with Sentiment Flags

I made a birthday card with my Sentiment Flags and Delightful Dahlia set and I thought I would share it here. I just love the font of the Happy Birthday sentiment!

Also, I thought I would quickly share this card I made today for the Color Throwdown Challenge (which you can read more about HERE). It's a great example of how Sentiment Flags stamp set and die can be used with so many of the sentiments you already have in your collection!

Don't forget you can purchase the Sentiment Flags stamp set and die RIGHT HERE. See the right-hand side of my blog for the full set image and the Add To Cart PayPal button. Not a PayPal user, you can still use this button and check out securely with your credit card! Did I mention that you get an 11 piece stamp set and a die for only $15 plus shipping? The stamps and the die are all made proudly here in the United States AND I've used only the top-notch manufacturers to bring you the BEST in quality. The stamps are SUPER clingy and give a strong, crisp impression and the die can cut through anything you can dream up using your die cutting machine.
I use my die in a Big Kick. Here is the sandwhich: MPP, die(face up), card stock or other medium, two cutting pads. Easy peasy!
Thanks for stopping by to take a peek. If you're here, you're AWESOME! I'd love to hear your feedback.
