Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop Day 3

Hi there, Crafty Friends! Welcome to our third and final day of our new release hop. I am astounded by all of your positive responses to our new release. Each and every comment makes me so happy. You ROCK!! Thank you!

Today, I am going to recap on our release just by sharing the images of the products released. If you'd like to read my descriptive products ramblings (LOL) I invite you to go back and read my Day 1 Post and my Day 2 Post or head right on over to the shop to read up on each item.

I also have some projects to share with you today but before I share, the products :)

I can't even say which new goodies are my favorites. I haven't been able to put any of these things away. My craft room looks like a hurricane blew through. It's a big beautiful mess!

Here are some new projects I made to share with you today!

This might be the my favorite card of my whole bunch! I started with a white base and used a blender tool and distress inks to create my blue ombré background. I then cut my Cover Up Die: Snowflakes from white paper and laid it over my background. I used silver embossing powder to heat emboss my sentiment onto sheer navy vellum. Karen Baker did the best job with cover up die, didn't she? LOVE!

Ok, here it is again :) I love this one too. In fact, I like the effect so much I left the card plain without a sentiment. Here is used three different pink distress inks and gold foil paper. LOVE!!

Here I used our new Big Christmas stamp set. I love the rustic jingle bells on this card! I used some of my favorite Vintage inspired Christmas papers that I'm hoarding and I heat embossed the sentiment in Pool Party embossing powder from Stampin' Up! It's perfect for this card. I added in a bit of gold glitter paper as a trim. It's just the right amount of shine!

Here I used one of my favorite 2 Cute Ink Stamp Sets, Snow Mouse. I did another distressed background because I am obsessed and have a problem now :)  I propped up my little mouse on white snow which I cut using our new Border Builders Die Set. I also cut the cloudy sky above him using Border Builders but used vellum paper for a more soft effect. I then dotted on some snow with the but end of a pen and also used the tiniest snowflake the in Winter Greetings Stamp Set.

Here is another card I made using our Speech Bubble Die Set. I used the bubble border die from this set to cut a cute speech bubble edge on my card front.  I stamped my sentiment in three different inks. It's from our Fancy Feathers stamp set and the birdie is a wood accent from Freckled Fawn. LOVE!

One last card for today was made with our Border Builders Die Set, Fancy Feathers Stamp Set and Frames & Flowers Die Set. I love how this set can be used to make a card front with a fancy or interesting edge.

Here is everything else I've made this week for the release. Can you tell I had a good time and couldn't stop?!

I really did have a great time creating for this release. I can't wait to see what you create with your new goodies!

Lil' Inker Designs New Release Hop Day 2

Hi there! Welcome back to day 2 of our new release hop!

I am so excited to read all of your positive responses to our new release items! I'm really jazzed about this release and all the new items we have for you this week.

Let's take another look at all of the new items we're releasing!

Eat More Donuts is a Donut themed stamp set. You'll receive four different donut frosting stamps and a donut ring or base. The frostings can be stamped in different colors and even embellished. These images were all hand drawn by illustrator, Katie Vaz and she did an amazing and yummy job with them! Of course we had to include some donut themed sentiments to go along with these sinful treats and we've done just that in a perfectly coordinated font. I really like that we've included a teacher and co-worker stamp here as you can see in the image below and I came up with some fun and punny other things to say like, "Nom Nom means I love you" and "You're sweet like frosting".  SOOO cute, right? Get them now because I don't anticipate they will last long! :)

OF COURSE we had to do a set of coordinating dies too! Our Donuts Die Set ROCKS! You will receive a set of three dies wired together. One die cuts the actual donut, another cuts the frosting and then a third die cuts a series of sprinkles that you can glue to your frosting for a fun look! You will love this set. WAIT until you see the samples. Of course the stamps all coordinate perfectly with these as well so you can stamp and cut out your frosting images from our stamp set and adhere them to the top of your donut!

Our I'm All You're All Stamp Set is something new you definitely haven't seen yet. And I think once I explain how these sentiments come together there will be no doubt you'll be wanting this for your collection. My friend Tricia was here at my house visiting one night and we were just simply chatting. Tricia is a character - there is no other way to describe her other than to say she's so fun and very funny and you always want her around. Well, she was telling me a story and she was saying, "and I was all - oh my goodness and she was all I swear I'm not kidding" and as she was talking I wrote down the words I'm All You're All and thus this stamp set was born!
We've adapted the concept to include greetings just right for card occasions! You can say things like

You're all "We're Expecting" and I'm all "Yeah Baby!"

or

You're all "It's my birthday!" and I'm all "Wooo Hooo!"

or

You're all "Thanks so much" and we're all "Don't sweat it!"

I think this is the most fun set ever. It's different and the fonts are great together AND you can use them specifically with our brand new Speech Bubble Die Set

This is a set of three stitched Speech Bubble Dies! The two long and narrow speech bubbles are perfectly over sized and just right for the sentiments on our I'm All You're All Stamp Set and more and the speech bubble border die is a fun take on creating a speech bubble of any size. Wait until you see these dies in action! If you notice, this set features our EXCLUSIVE Dual Stitching Design which allows you to use a decorative negative cut! If you've seen Dual Stitching anywhere else, it was invented and created here first in 2013 at Lil' Inker Designs!

Another set of dies that I've had in my possession FOREVER and that I'm so happy to be releasing today. This is our Border Builders Die Set. Use this set to create decorative, rounded borders, tag toppers, unique gate folded cards, stitched hills, grass or even snowy hills! It's quite versatile and oh so fun to use!

First up is our brand new and funky Baubled Christmas Tree Die. I thought it would be fun to create a Christmas Tree with a circle theme because I envision it being adorned with buttons or sequins or enamel dots or all of the above! There is also a star tree topper to complete the look!

I saw a gift bag covered with all different sizes of stars similar to this shape and I knew instantly when I saw it that I had to bring these to you in die form to play with! Our Seasonal Stars Die Set is a set of gorgeous eight-pointed stars. Use the tiniest star as the perfect tree topper for the tree in our Holly Jolly Die Set! There are SO MANY pretty things these dies can do!

Next up is a beautiful stamp set that I think you're going to REALLY REALLY love! Big Christmas is a set of five perfectly over sized, BIG winter and holiday greetings stamps. They are so pretty! Some have fun holiday motifs like snowflakes or reindeer or Santa in his sleigh. All are done with classic but trendy fonts. These will pair gorgeously with all of our existing holiday goodies. A GREAT addition to any stampers collection for sure!

I. LOVE. THIS. STAMP. SET!!!!!! I love love love love the font and the sentiments but I really really love the whimsical, hand drawn feeling of these pretty little snowflakes. If you are a fan of the flake then Cozy Winter Wishes is a perfect set to add to your stampy collection!

Here is a really fun and Limited Edition Gift and Note Card Holder Die! As you can see in the picture the flap you fold over to the front is stitched so it will coordinate with every die in our collection. These dies will be available for a limited time just for the holidays. Use this die to wrap up a gift card or even a cash gift. What's really cool is that there are four dies in our collection that cut to fit inside this holder so a little decorative note can be added. The dies that fit inside are:

2nd smallest in our Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles Collection
2nd smallest in our Stitched Mats: Rectangles Collection
Smallest in our Anytime Tags Die Set
and 2nd smallest in our Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag Die Set (if you trim the length to fit)

is a set of two Stitched Script Holiday Word Dies. These are unique because they ONLY cut the stitched line into your card front, tags, sentiment panels and more. The end result is subtle but oh so very very pretty and coordinates so nicely with all of our stitched dies! I will admit that it is a little hard to capture the beauty of these dies in a photograph but I will say that in person there is no question as to how awesome this die set is. You will receive two holiday phrases which have been wired together. They can be snipped apart with jewelry pliers or gently bent back and forth repeatedly until they come apart. The individual words can even be separate for more versatility with just a little more elbow grease :) You will love the effect these dies create on your projects!!

Our new Cover Up Die: Snowflakes is quite possibly the most beautiful die we're releasing today. It cuts an A2 card sized panel featuring these amazing, falling snowflakes. Hummina hummina! This die can do amazing things!

I'd love to share some of my projects with you. Let's get to them :)

I made this first card using our new Baubled Christmas Tree Die. Can I just say that I flippin' love this die!! Here I've actually cut the die three times and adhered the layers together. I like the little stacked look this gave to the die. I cut my star topper from silver foil paper. You'll also see that I used the Merry Christmas Stitched Script Holiday Word Die. Squuuuueee! I love the way this looks! Again, it really is a tiny bit hard to capture the beauty of these word dies with a camera. There is no doubt that in person that sentiment is THERE! I love love love love love these dies!

Here's a better detail shot of the sentiment. EEK!!!! You've got to try them! Little trick - to lessen any appearance of the edges of these die from your paper use your bone folder or just the back of your nail over the crease!

Here I've used our new Cozy Winter Wishes Stamp set along with our previously released Winter Greetings Stamp Set. They work together so nicely, right? I stamped these pretty snowflakes in blues and greens and heat embossed my sentiment in silver. You will see that I've used our new Border Builders Die Set to create an interest focal panel for my stamped images. I've had so much fun experimenting with what these dies can do!

Here's a detail shot. I don't know what is it about these flakes that I love so much. You've got to stamp them for yourself to know what I mean! :)

Ya, I know!! Rediculously CUTE!!! I made this tag by first cutting a panel using my Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles which I was delighted to discover this third smallest die makes THE BEST TAG!!!! I just used the hang hole dies from my Anytime Tags Die Set to make my ribbon hole. Using my Donuts Die Set I cut my donut base from kraft paper and my frosting from soft pink paper. I then used my sprinkles die and cut a series of different colors. I used a T1 Copic marker to add a little shadow. Love this sentiment too! I'm so excited to have something specific for teachers! I imagine lots and lots of uses for this stamp set over time!

Here I created two donuts with my die set and created a little card and I love this sentiment. It's perfect for a just because note or thank you note! I stamped my sentiment on a Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag.

Here is a finished Stitched Gift and Note Card Holder. I cut it using red card stock and embellished it simply with holly leaves from our Holly Jolly Die Set and our brand new Stitched Script Holiday Word Dies and just a small piece of patterned paper. I actually broke apart the Merry and Christmas words so that I could create my own layout on this project.

On the inside, I've added a note card cut from our Stitched Mats: Rounded Rectangles Set and stamped it with a greeting from our Instant Camera: Christmas Stamp Set.

Here you can see how neatly a cash gift fits within. Note: Here I used heavy weight red card stock and to get everything to crease well (because I am a perfectionist) I used my Teflon bone folder and it worked great! These are a snap with lighter weight or patterned paper!

Ok, I have one more card to share with you today and it features our brand new Seasonal Stars Dies and Big Christmas Stamp Set!

I arranged all four star dies on my card front and cut. Inside is a white panel so that the stars pop against the blue card front! What's hard to see in the photo is that I sponged some gold ink to shadow the inside of the stars to add some dimension. I then heat embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder into vellum paper. So pretty! These Big Christmas greetings are PERFECT for heat embossing!!

I really love how these projects turned out! It was so nice to sit and craft and make all these cards! I hope you like them too!
