July Release Day 3

Hi there! It's Laura! Can I get a standing ovation for our designers?? Wowwwwwwwwwwww!!! Their projects have been so amazing!!! YAhoooooooO!!!!!

I'm here for the third and final day of our new release!

Did you see my posts for Day 1 and Day 2? If not, definitely head back and check them out. They're full of info and inspo! ;)

For today, Day 3, I'm going to you, again, everything we've just released this week and some supporting projects made by our team.

Today, I have two new project to share with you. This first one features our new Boxed Up So Happy For You Greeting Die.

Sometimes, I get the greatest photos and then sometimes....I don't. This is one of those times :(
This is done in peach tones and it's so pretty. I started by cutting using Carribean Coral (?) paper and then backed it with Blushing Bride I believe but only after I lined my die cut with acetate and foam tape to make a shaker. My white card base is stamped with orange ombre ink using the banner from the Party Pachyderms Stamps. I've done a card like this before but in pinks. I love love love love this! This die is so easy to use. I think everyone should own at least one of our Boxed Up Greetings Dies!

Again with the not so excellent photos....... but it's clear enough to see that you've got to own our Alphabet Gems Dies and coordinating stamps which we previously released. Here I stamped and heat embossed in gold the letters to spell rock which I then coordinated with our Girl's Best Friend Diamond Die and Stamps all atop our new and improved Stitched Gift Card Holder Die which I couldn't possibly love more. It's perfection!!!!!

I hope you've been enjoying our hop this week! I know I have! As you visit our designers this week make sure to leave them some feedback on their projects. They work so so hard to bring you awesome inspiration. If you do you'll be entered to win one of three $15 gift certificates to Lil' Inker Designs!

July Release Day 2

MORNING!!!!! Did you visit us yesterday and check out our Day 1 post and our new release items?? Great!!! Awesome stuff, right?!

Well, in case you didn't get a chance, head back and read my Day 1 post because it is literally filled with just about all the information you need about our new release as well as loads of inspiring projects from our Designers.

Here is another look at everything that's new in store this week along with a supporting project from our Design Team so that you can see how awesome these goodies are to use.

Today, I'd like to focus on just a couple of projects I made and the goodies from this new release that I used to create them.

First up is this project I made using The Little Things Dies and Stamps. I am loving this "It's Cool to be Kind" sentiment!  What a great way to say thank you to someone! This card came together very simply and quickly. I started with a kraft card base, 4.25" square, which I then die cut a fringe scalloped border with the largest dies in my Fringe Scalloped Squares Die Set. Then, I simply trimmed down a piece of watercolor paper for layering and washed it with this hint of blue and stamped my sentiment.
To create my bird, first I stamped the body in blue and then I die cut him out which leaves me the perfect spot to stamp the birdie's feet. I prefer this method for perfect foot placement! LOL! Separately, I stamped his wing and die cut it and affixed it to my bird. Then, after stamping and die cutting a leaf I created my scene. This is a lovely set of stamps. I highly highly recommend it!!!!

In this project I dared to show you how you can take the entire stamp set directly to paper without the dies and how nicely the completed bird can still look. I used all different stamps from the set to create my background/pattern and THEN I used our new Happy Birthday Border Die to cut it into a useable panel for a card front. I thought this was a pretty cool idea! On my kraft card base you'll see our Quilted Stitched Spirals Die just peeking out. It adds just the right amount of flair. I liked using two, bold colors to create my design. It kept it simple but interesting and let the art shine through. I love love love this set!!! I think you'll also find the sentiments super pretty and very useful!

Here's a look at the new release items I used for my projects today:
