January New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to our January New Release Hop!!!!!

Today is the first day of our January Release Hop and I am so excited to show you everything launching in the store today! Ready?

Up first is something that I think you're going to be very excited about. Our original Perfect Pairs Stamps is one of our most popular stamps. I get lots of requests from customers for "MORE" and HERE THEY ARE!!!!! This time, in our new Perfect Pairs 2 Stamps, we've given you Salt & Pepper, Pie & Whipped Cream, Pickles & Ice Cream, and Milk & Cookies!!!!  Aren't these the sweetest?

This time around, we've included stamps for the pair names as well as some coordinating sentiments to make phrases like "made for each other" and "a perfect match". These images can also be mixed and matched with the phrases in the original Perfect Pairs Set.

We've also created a set of coordinating dies to cut out these sweet new couples with precision and ease!

One of the most highly requested concepts from customers has been coordinating "pair names" for our original Perfect Pairs Stamps so while I was finishing the new set above I decided to create a small set to coordinate with our original Perfect Pairs Stamp Set which includes names for each of the pairs and new phrases like "friends" and "you're a real treat". The nice thing about this is these new phrases work with both of the image sets. YAY!!!! We're calling this Perfect Pairs Additions Stamps.

Up next is our New Heartthrob Stamps! This is a truly unique stamp set. The thumbprint-like images coordinate together to create a two-step heart shape and even better, they're easy to line up! I recommend using a clear stamping block and just align the bottom points of the shapes and make sure your sides are flush. It's easy and so fun and they give you this artsy and eclectic feel!!! Another great thing about this set is that each of these heart pieces can be turned and used to stamp the other side of the heart.
Let's talk about the sentiments in this set! I've given you two styles of sentiments; print and script. The print stamps were designed with Conversation Candy Hearts in mind while using a Rae Dunn ceramics-inspired print. Each of these printed sentiments fit right onto the hearts. The script sentiments are cute and sweet and I envision these being stamped onto thin strips and laid over the hearts as one option for use.

Our Heartthrob Stamps (hearts and sentiments) were also designed to coordinate with our new Perfect Palette Hearts Die!

This is a follow up to our very popular Perfect Palette Die which featured circles and was just restocked in our store this week. The heart pieces and printed sentiments all stamp to fit right on the sold hearts that cut away from this die. You'll see I also included a couple of stitched hearts because I couldn't resist. This is a terrific and useful die especially when it's put to use with the intended stamp set!

What better for Valentine's Day than a new Quilted Stitched All Hearts Die? This die will add instant texture and pattern to your card fronts with just one pass through your diecutting machine and this time in a lovely, stitched hearts pattern. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a new character to add to our "Hugger Die" collection, this time a Bear Hugger Die & Stamp Set. Die cut this guy from your favorite color of card stock and bring him to life with one of three faces included in the coordinating stamp set; boy bear, girl bear, and panda bear!! Each of the sentiments stamp to fit on bear's tummy and his arms will fold around a small candy treat like a Hershey's Nugget, a chocolate heart of even a lollipop or pencil which makes a great classroom treat and these are SOOOOO EASY to use. Great for the crafty children in your lives!!!

I think you're going to really love this new die I'm calling Radiating Love Heart Die. It's a set of two dies that can work together or separately. The largest die cuts a stitched pattern into your card front and the pattern is a unique one. It's a set of stitching lines that cut and in its wake leaves a noticeable heart that's been defined by the lines around it.  The second die in the set can either be laid over the heart shape or used to cut a frame or window through to the inside of your card.

We're ending with two new word dies done in a beautiful script font; Sending My Love and With Love. They're so pretty on their own and are perfectly oversized so they make fantastic focal images for card fronts. They're versatile too especially the Sending My Love Word Die which can be trimmed to say "My Love" or the "Sending" can be used on its own too. These are great!

Let's have a look at some of the projects I made with the items in our new release. I wanted to show you the Heartthrob Stamps in action so you can see how cool and unique they are!

I started first with our Perfect Palette Hearts Die cut from white card stock. Then, using my Heartthrob Stamps I stamped on the solid hearts cut away from the palette die. I found simple to stamp these two step stamps onto the hearts. Alignment was a breeze and I had fun making these cool little hearts. I set the heart palette die cut on foam tape atop of a black card base and set my hearts inside so they're lowered in. Then, I layered the With Love Word Die in silver paper backed with a black shadow and called this done.

Here I took our Heartthrob Stamps directly to paper creating a funky background. I want to be sure I point out that the stamps in the set that create the hearts can be orientated left OR right - whichever you desire! Once I was done creating my background I added some black dots and my greeting was created with the Cozy Plaid Stamps and Hugs Word Die. Everything was put onto a mint green card base which was embellished with the largest die in my Stitched Mats Rectangles Die Set. This is my FAVORITE project I think from this release. I love how it turned out and I'm going to make more!
