March New Release Day 2

Hello, crafty friends! Welcome back for day 2 of our new March Release Hop!

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Laura Pryor and I'm the owner of Lil' Inker Designs. I started my business at my kitchen table and I currently run LID out of two bedrooms in my home; one where I craft and pack and ship all of your orders and the other is an inventory storage room.

I'm located just outside of Boston where I originally grew up and I can often be found making dinner with one hand and answering customer emails with the other. Or sometimes I even answer you from under the covers, LOL! I love what I do!

Thank you for joining me today! I'm here to show you more of the new items we just added to the store yesterday. If you missed my Day Post CLICK HERE to read it. I go into a lot of detail about our new items. If you want to read the website descriptions for all the new items CLICK HERE. You'll get item sizes and each new product has an image gallery for loads of ideas and inspiration.

Here is another look at everything we released this week:

This is a gorgeous set perfect for Mother's Day or any time! You will love coloring this

This is a super-fun treat box and egg-stra special when adorned with a cute little tag from this set.

LOVE this die! It adds instant texture and visual interest to card fronts. Pop up each egg by hand for even more fun!

This is such a cute set or parading bunnies and chicks! I love that the greetings aren't just for Spring and Easter making this one not just cute but useful all the time!

Gah! The cuteness is on overload!! Cut these bunny border and then dress them up with these sweet little faces and accessories.

This die makes a fun bunny face for a card front or use as a tag. I think this one is a MUST HAVE!!!

I could and DID play for hours with our new cactus die set. I loved experimenting with all my green papers and making these little potted beauties come to life!

This die is very much a staple to have in your collection. The sentiment itself is sweet but purposeful and it makes such pretty and easy cards!

Would you like to see more projects I made with our new release goodies? I'm going to focus on our new So Prickly Cactus Dies, primarily.

First up, I made this little home decor piece using our new So Prickly Cactus Dies and our Mini Canvas Die and Mini Easel which is the wooden display you see here. I started by cutting out my mini canvas piece and watercoloring it with a plaid background. While it dried I cut and watercolored my cacti. These couldn't be easier or cuter!

I used my Zigs and a water brush and just went for it! Then, my sentiment was stamped and heat embossed on grey stock and adhered on foam tape for a little dimension. Here's a look at this project as it appears on my kitchen table. I love it!

For those of you unfamiliar with our Mini Canvas Die, here's a look.

It was designed so that you can quickly and easily turn any project into a mii home decor piece which is displayed SOOOOOO cutely on these wooden mini easels.

Next up is a card I made where I basically just went to town cutting my cacti in all shades of green card stock and the pots in all shades of greys and then I assembled them and created a layout. The sentiment is from our companion So Prickly Stamp Set (previously released) and the hearts are from the Floating Hearts Die. Also making an appearance here are our Stitched Mats: Squares Dies. I used the largest die in the set to add stitching all the way around my pre-made square card base.

Oh, I love this tag! I started with our Anytime Tags Dies and then assembled a cactus from my previous cuttings. This time I tied a little twine around it and I really love the look. As you can see I added a little flower embellishment from this die set to the top. Isn't it sweet? The Thanks Word Die is from our new Bouquet of Roses Die Set and the word frind is from our Super Kids Stamp Set. I love how this turned out!

This is the very first card I made for this release and I love it! I started with a taupe card base and I added a patterned paper from our coordinating So Prickly Papers. I forgot to mention these yesterday. You'll definitely want to check these out because they're FAB and they really match well with the dies. Then, I watercolored my cactus and once dry I stamped a face from the So Prickly Stamps onto it to add character and sass.  Then, I used our new So Very Kind Greeting Die which I cut into pink card stock and then trimmed to apply to my card front. I added a thank you sentiment which is from our I'll Be Brief Stamps.

I hope you love everything we released this week! If you do, I bet you'd be interested in winning one of everything for yourself. Am I right?
