Being that it's the third day of our hop I'll just be showing you the images of the products we launched this week and some new projects I haven't shown you yet. Ready?
Here is a look at everything we just released which I think you will LOVE!
These are some of my favorite Easter and Spring goodies EVER! Speaking of Easter and Spring goodies, I wrote a blog post which you can find HERE and it's a nice showcase of awesome previously released Easter and Spring products.
Here's a look at my newest projects. I'm going to focus on Easter Parade Stamps and Dies as well as our Happy Bunny Border Dies and Happy Bunny Stamps and our new Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up.
First up is this little diddy I made using our Easter Parade Dies and Stamps. I stamped and colored these ADORABLE images with Copic Markers and then used my coordinating Easter Parade Dies to cut them out. I kept my coloring quick and simple - my favorite way to color! Once my pieces were done I cut and scored a card base with aqua paper. This base is 5.50" w x 3" h (I believe).
I added texture to the background using our Cover Up Die Stitched Clouds. This die is only 4.25" w so to use it on my card base I put the die all the way over the right side of my base and cut and then did a second cut on the left. The overlapped part is covered up by the main bunny so you can't even tell that there's a seam! Nice! I laid out my characters as you see above after adding a strip of mint green for grass at the bottom. I used two sentiments from the stamp set to create my greeting. One I stamped right on the flag and the other in the grass. OH and I can't forget that I added two clouds from our Rainbows and Clouds Die Set.
Here I used the same stamps and dies to create this sweet tag. I love that this stamp set can be used for lots of occasions not just Easter and Spring because of the extra sentiments I included like Happy Birthday seen here. To make this tag I started with my FAVORITE TAGS IN THE LID COLLECTION EVER!!! They're the Embossed Dots Tags Dies which I used with stone card stock - another fave of mine. I stamped the girl bunny from the set, colored her with Copics and die cut her out. On my tag base I did some stamping of cute clouds from our Angel Pets Stamps. I made a grass border with mint paper using our Border Builders Die Set and stamped, colored and cut some flowers from the Super Kids Stamp Set. I added some of my favorite chevron ribbon and tied it with twine. LOVE!
Here I used our new Happy Bunny Border Dies and Happy Bunny Stamps. I cut each of the border dies in the set. One border from white paper and one from stone paper. Then I got to stamping. I added the faces, ears, cheeks and glasses all using the Happy Bunny Stamps. How cute are these little faces??????????!!!!!!!!! One I created my pink base and layered my borders together I covered the bottom with this pretty printed paper and tied off the transition with ribbon. Then I made my sentiment panel which is just an Anytime Tag Die trimmed down and then the sentiment laid over it heat embossed in Rose Gold which I am obsessed with! Isn't this cute?
Here I used the same die set as you can see but I wanted to make a card to show you how the bunnies can be made to look like their backs are facing you by adding pom poms! CUTE!!! My background is cut using our Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die and my sentiment is a die cut from our Dual Stitched Egg and Easter Greeting Die Set.
Here is a very simple card I made using our new Peek-a-Boo Bunny Die and papers from our Easter Greetings Paper Pack. It couldn't be more simple to make an adorable card then with this die set! I started by cutting the bunny's head. Then, I cut the pink part of ears and cheeks using this sparkly pink paper. I die cut the face right into the head and then cut the face again from black stock and laid it right in. The whiskers were added just behind his little face. I really like this. I opted to not even add a sentiment. I doesn't even need it! This way it can be used for any occasion!
Here I've used our new Cover Up Die: Easter Egg Pop Up to create this card base. I premade my card base from stone stock and cut it with this die. Then, I cut another time using this thin plastic holographic "paper" I had. I snipped out all of the eggs my hand and laid it over my stone base. Truthfully, this was hard for my to photo but the effect in real life is lovely! My focal images were created using some previously released goodies. I added a bunny using our Bunnies and Bows Die set. The egg die is from our Dual Stitched Egg and Easter Greeting Die Set and it was stamped with a coordinating image from our Easter Hodge Podge Stamp Set. The sentiment is from our new Happy Bunny Stamps and was heat embossed in Rose Gold. It's not my favorite card from my the batch I made in terms of how it photographed but I do really like how it turned out. I forgot to mention that I popped up the eggs through the holo paper.
Here I started with a card base made from watercolor paper and cut it with the new Cover Up Die Easter Egg Pop Up. I left all the eggs flat and watercolored them with my zigs in a rainbow pattern. Once this was dry, I added a bunny I made using our Peek-a-Boo Bunny Die. This time I turned the eyes around for a totally different look and added the face on top instead of into the head - if that makes sense? I also added some Tonic Crystal Glaze to the face parts but it's hard to see in the photo but adds a nice shine and dimension in real life. I added a simple bow from our Bunnies and Bows Die Set to the ear - cute! My greeting is from our Brush Script Spring Word Dies which I cut in black and just laid over the bunny keeping it simple. I actually love love love this card and I might frame it. Do you ever do this? Sometimes when I make things I love I frame them and put them with my season decor so I can take them out and use them during the year. I really enjoy having things like this throughout the house.

Laura Pryor/LID Store Blog <<----- You are here!
I'm so proud of how this release has come together and thank you to you for leaving all the wonderful feedback for the entire team. It means a lot!!!Now, I've been getting several emails about receiving these goodies in time for Easter. Yes, this release was a little too close to the holiday for my liking. I'm so sorry about that. I ended up with the flu and lost an entire week of work. It was rough. And now, we're snowed in here in Boston. As I'm typing this we're in the middle of a blizzard and we're expecting up to 18 inches of snow on top of the 8-10 we got last week. There will be no packages going out until Thursday of this week, Wednesday is I can safely get to the Post Office. Thank you for understanding!!!
Have a wonderful day. Thank you for joining us and head on over to our STORE to shop our new March Release!
