March Release Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome back to our March Release Hop Day 2! Yesterday was SO much fun! I'm so excited to show you our brand new look and all our new goodies. Thank you so much for the overwhelmingly excited response to our new products! I want you to know that each comment seriously makes my day! Thank you!

In case you're just joining us today, here is another look at everything we've just released...

Our new Bunnies & Bows Die Set is STELLAR!! What I really love about them the most is that at the very last minute I thought it would be clever if these bunnies could face each other if used together on a project! I love adding fun little details like this into our designs and I'm super in love with the pretty lil' bows to dress up these sweet dies! They are perfect for Easter & Spring, of course, but what about for new babies too? YES!

Hummina hummina! You have no idea how loooooong we have been playing with fonts and doing a stitched alphabet. Poor Ariana, has bald spots from my back and forth on this idea! We finally settled on this adorable and slightly chubby font which we love because the upper case and lower case letters can all be mixed and matched and interchanged for a truly unique and fun look! We call it our Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set and it contains 43 dies which are all about .75" tall - the perfect size for card making and the perfect size to keep your wallet happy too!

Here is the companion numbers and symbols set - Mixed & Stitched Numbers Die Set! Yes, please!

OMGSH - do you love how playful and fun this stamp set is? Doesn't it remind you of the little toys from wayy back with the teensy little silver balls in them? I just love the sentiments and fonts we did here in our new Rat Race Stamp Set. Notice how we didn't emphasize the word maze in the sentiments. That's so you can use these stamps for other projects as well and not just with this focal image. See! I'm always thinking of you!

This is the latest addition to what is now a collection of coordinating stamps and dies. I think EVERY paper crafter needs this collection because it's so versatile and well, it's just fresh and lovely! This is our Spot On Spring Stamp Set and we just love that it can be used to say things like "Happy For You, Love Ya, Lucky In Love and so much more especially if combined with Spot On Stamp Set (the original) and Darling Diamonds Stamp Set. You can say things like "Celebrate You" and "Yay For You". I always like new products that can breathe new life into old ones! It really stretches your dollars!

So, yes - these are amazing! The shape of our Spring Flowers is so unique. I love the ability to add the centers and layer these flowers for all different looks. I especially love that the leaves are specifically designed to resemble eggs. I thought about doing a set of stitched eggs - well now you have two of them AND these gorgeous flowers in one set.

I am LOVING these sentiments. Our Spring Sentiments Stamp Set is not only perfect for Spring, though! It can be used for love themed cards, new beginnings like babies or weddings maybe and there's even an inspiring sentiments too. Bases? COVERED all in this one set! We thought that these sayings were really the perfect companions to our new bunnies, flowers and butterflies! Something in this set can be used with all of these new dies!

So, I drew this butterfly shape but it was wayyy perfected by Karen Baker and I LOVE how they turned out. This set features our exclusive Dual Stitching Design so you can use the decorative negative cuts OR the main Stitched Butterfly dies. Love these! Did you notice the little loop-dee-loo die at the bottom of the set? It's actually the trail or flight of the butterfly and it adds a really pretty little detail,  I think. The neat thing about it is this particular die can be used as the hop of a bunny with our Bunnies & Bows Die Set! You just have to change the way it's laid out before it's cut! Cool!!
This set is wired together unlike our other Dual Stitched Die Sets. We did this to keep your costs as low as possible They can easily be broken apart by twisting but I recommend using wire snips. I used inexpensive jewelry pliers and I was able to snip off all the rough edges which would be left by twisting apart alone.

Hmmmmmmm.....which projects to share with you today.........  I think like to show off our new Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set first.

First, I started by cutting my alphabet a few times from patterned paper and all of a sudden this little saying popped in to my head and I used heart die from our Stitched Hearts Die set in place of a word. I used the negative cut here and placed a piece of red patterned paper behind the cut out.  This is such a fun die set to work with because you can so many different things with it. Love these cute little letters!

Here is a home decor project I made. I started with a shadow box picture frame. I buy these and keep them until I need them for something like this because they are sort of hard to find especially in 4x6 and 5x7 sizes. They are perfect for displaying cards because you don't have to worry about the glass butting up against any embellishments. Here the glass is removed for clearer photography.

Then, I cut a piece of burlap fabric and glued it to a piece of sturdy cardboard as my base. I made this small, more narrow stitched rectangle with a little fancy die cutting which I thought was better suited for my focal piece. Then I used the large leaf in our Spring Flowers Die Set and die cut several pieces of pastel vellum and added letters to spell Easter using our new Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Dies and adhered them in place. I then hot glued this panel to the burlap after applying foam tape for some dimension. It's sort of a fun little piece! It was fun and came together very quickly!

Here's a card I made with our new Stitched Butterflies Die Set and Spring Sentiments stamp set. SUPER EASY CARD! On a white card base, die cut your butterfly and trail - doesn't it add a nice little effect?. Heat emboss sentiment on vellum paper using gold embossing powder, trim and adhere under butterfly one the front panel of your card. Add a piece of patterned paper inside your card. DONE! It's one of my favorites too!

I think that will do it for today, friends! I have more projects to share but I think I'll save them for tomorrow's post :) I hope I've got your gears turning today and have inspired you to use your new goodies when they arrive.
