Today I'm back to share more goodness with you! We're showcasing our BRAND NEW Mini Bow Dies as well as a fantastic set from Sugar Kissed Cottage called No Peeking!
First up is the third installment in our collection of Bow Dies....the Mini! Back in May of this year we released our WILDLY popular, FIRST EVER Bow Dies available on the market. The finished shape of our bows is one Ariana and I painstakingly perfected from hand drawings after hours and hours of making it just right by hand cutting assembling and making changes. It was worth every minute because they turned out so perfect! They've been published in magazines, featured on Paper Craft Magazine's website and NOW we're back to release the sweetest in the collection!
If you joined us yesterday, you've seen our new Instant Camera: Christmas set which make adorable photo ornament keepsakes. When I was designing this set I thought, "What fun die can we make to dress us the bottom, stamp-able portion of the die?" and it was like a light bulb went off....MINI BOW.
So I created a project today using my son's new school photo to show you how cute the Mini Bow works with our Instant Camera Die and Instant Camera: Christmas Stamp Set...which by the way THESE STAMPS ARE FABULOUS!! FABULOUS!!! I'm finding the more I use them they are perfect for tags and holiday greetings. I love them and you will too!
Ok, so if you don't already have a Bow Die from Lil' Inker, here is what it looks like....
Assembly is super easy with the "Bull's Eyes" we've added built right into our design so that you know right where to add your adhesive and attach your pieces. I personally recommend Mini Glue Dots. I find the make the quick assembly process even faster!
Here is a fantastic size comparison made by Color Team Member, Mary Johnson showing you all three Bow Dies together; Large, Small and Mini
And here are the projects I made to show you how the Mini Bow will dress up your Instant Camera Dies.
You'll have to forgive my photos. I made this last minute on Monday night and I didn't have a chance to photo them in day light. My son's new school pics arrived and I couldn't WAIT to make some photo cards with his new picture! Here I used our Stitched Mats: Rectangles to cut the stitched border around my card base. Do you have these dies? They are seriously the most addictive craft supply I have ever owned. I cannot stop reaching for them! Then, I die cut a red Instant Camera frame and added my son's photo and stamped love & cheer from our Instant Camera: Christmas sentiments stamp set. As you can see, I die cut a Mini Bow from patterned paper and added it to the bottom of my photo frame. Isn't it the PERFECT size and embellishment for our Instant Camera Die??
I created this photo frame too also with a Mini Bow embellishment and a stamp from our Instant Camera: Christmas set, but I haven't finished working with it yet but I thought it was too cute not to share.
Here is a little gift tag I made using our Mini Bow Die. There is something about these bows cut from felt that just give them a whole different appearance. LOVE! The trick to super crisp felt edges is to pass your "stack" through your die cutting machine 3-4 times back and forth. It's really worth that little extra bit of elbow grease.
Here I die cut a circle and two green trees from our Holly Jolly Set (just sold out) and made them 3-D. I added my embellished bow to the top and a sentiment from our new Dear Santa Set. It's so funny but when Karen Baker was designing the sentiments for our new Sugar Kissed Cottage sets who knew they would be so wonderful for gift tags too?? I love it when that happens! Cute tag, right?? I hope you think so.
If you love our Small and Large Bow Dies NO DOUBT the Mini will be the perfect addition to your collection!
Next up, but CERTAINLY not least is a new set from The Sugar Kissed Cottage line called
No Peeking. Have a look.....
I am loving the vintage inspired images in this collection of stamps! Karen Baker has been designing the sentiments that appear in all of the sets in this line and I think she is doing one bang up job! Love the fonts, love the sayings AND I love that they have so many wonderful uses! Here's what I made with this wonderful new set...
I started by coloring my image with Copics. Now, I am NOT a coloring expert by any means. I do my best and I get by. I enjoy it so much which is why I really love having the illustrated lines in our store. Coloring is like therapy, no? Surprisingly, even though this is a detailed image I found it easy and fast to color especially after I decided to make all my gifts wrapped in kraft paper with different colored bows.
As you can see, I used papers from Echo Park's This & That Christmas Collection. We have a limited supply of these pads in our store right now and for only $5.75! It's a fabulous collection of holiday or winter papers at an equally fabulous price!
This is such a fun release of new goodies! Before I send you on your way remember to leave some love along the way. We'll be picking two winners from a secret prize blog to each receive a $10 store credit. The more comments you leave the better your chances of winning!
We'll be back tomorrow with more fabulous projects! The new goodies are moving fast already. If there is something you love head on over to our store HERE and check it out. We've been finding that with each new release our items are selling out faster and faster! Woo Hoo!! We're so happy that you're loving Lil' Inker Designs! Thank you so much!
Jen Carter is up next for today. Jen's projects always amaze me and I know she will have something for you today that will amaze you too! Enjoy the rest of our hop today!!
