First up this week is a die and stamp set combo which was designed specifically to make the cutest photo ornaments! Think school photos which can be embellished to hang on the tree or even a cute way to dress up a child's photo for holiday cards! And of course we design our products so that they can have many versatile uses so the dies and stamps in this set can be used for loads of other projects too! I love that!
The set is called Instant Camera: Christmas...It will be available in a bundle and as individual pieces. Have a look at the three components....
Instant Camera Die complete with our signature stitching which, in my opinion, makes this look like the real thing! The center is the perfect size for those school wallet photos or just about anything you can dream up!
Gift Bow Topper - this die MAKES the set. When added to your projects not only does it dress up your Instant Camera frame to make it look like a little present but this piece also will allow you to add twine so your finished product can be hung from your Christmas Tree!
And finally, a FABULOUS FABULOUS set of holiday themed stamps designed by Karen Baker!! Each sentiment is perfectly sized to fit on the bottom of the Instant Camera Die and they are the perfect sayings for holiday greeting cards. I love that we included numbers so that you can stamp the date!
How about a couple of projects to show you how this set all works together?
So this was a picture from last school year and I had them handy as I was crafting. I'll have to share this year's picture with you. His new school pictures just arrived on Friday afternoon and it's super cute too! I digress........ SO back to crafts...... ok so you can see here how I die cut the Instant Camera Die and added my wallet size photo to the back. Then, I die cut a Gift Bow Topper from patterned paper and added it to the back so now I'll be able to add some twine and hang it right on my tree! Here I chose to work with the adorable sentiment combo Santa's Helper and stamped the date. After adding a few embellishments I have a keepsake that I can put on the tree each year to remember each year.
Wouldn't these be great for the Grammy's trees too? Or even added to the front of handmade photo cards?
The sentiments in this set are truly truly fabulous! Because of the nature of their size they'd be equally fabulous for gift tags. We love products that have lots and lots of uses!
Do you love this set? I can't stop using the Instant Camera Die! Remember the original Polaroid photos and how they sort of had this almost embossed edge-look? The stitching on our die really makes this look like the real thing. Especially when used with white paper!
Now, I planned to save this next little project for tomorrow but since I want you to see just how cool the Gift Bow Topper can be on its own I decided I'd like to share these with you today....
These are the cutest little gift tags! They were super quick and simple and can be added to presents with a glue dot or hung on a package with some cute twine! I made them using the smallest die in our Stitched Mats: Rectangles set and our new Gift Bow Topper die. I then stamped to and from and Merry Christmas which are stamps from a Sugar Kissed Cottage set we're releasing this week called No Peeking as well as a sentiment from our Dear Santa set also from Sugar Kissed Cottage.
I love these! And the best part is that I used scraps and took only a minute each to make. I think they could even be great for wine bottles too!
Speaking of Sugar Kissed Cottage, we're releasing three holiday sets this week that you are seriously going to love love love!
Dear Santa
No Peeking
A Snowman's Soul
Today the team is showcasing projects using Dear Santa. Here's mine!
I couldn't resist this Santa image when I saw him. He's jolly and all tuckered out! Here I used our Stitched Mats: Rectangles and our Stitched Sentiment Flag die and kept my layout very simple! I love love love this guy! He's the perfect size for clean and simple cards like this one or even tags. Sigh.....I just love these Vintage images from Sugar Kissed Cottage.
