Quick CASE - A Challenge Perhaps??

Hi there! I'm just popping by with a quick CASE. I know I say this a lot but I feel like I have the greatest Design Team EVER. Each one uniquely talented and incredibly inspiring. Because a lot of my focus is on creating products for Lil' Inker Designs I feel like I'm slacking a little on my card making. I used to sketch card design ideas and techniques and now I sketch product ideas. It's really taken me out of the loop as far as good card making goes SO I often look to the creations of my design team when I need to make cards for the people in my life or even when making things for our blog hop releases!! So, today I wanted to share with you how I was inspired by this STUNNER from designer, Debby Hughes.

This card is AMAZING! Debby made this when we released our Sentiment Flag Additions Die and Stamp Set and uses all of the following goodies from Lil' Inker Designs:

Her design is clean, it's colorful, it's bold and graphic, it's even a great literal interpretation of the sentiment - which by the way I love!! I was so inspired by Debby's design that when my friend, Brian, turned 40 recently I made him this card changing up the color scheme and adding additional clouds in varying shades of grey tones. How great is this sentiment for a masculine birthday?

So, when I was writing this post I planned to just post it to share it but then I thought......maybe we should have a challenge?

I actually have TWO unclaimed prizes from our recent hops so maybe we could even have PRIZES??!!

Let's see how you're inspired by Debby's original card and/or my interpretation! You don't need to even use the Sentiment Flags Additions Set, just use what you have and let's have a little crafty time!

Being that this was an unplanned challenge (until the very moment I'm writing this) chances are there will be few participants which means BIG CHANCES TO WIN!!!! I have a $10 store credit and 2 stamp sets from either of our illustrated lines to give away!!!

To be entered to win, upload a new card to your blog using Debby's card (or mine) as inspiration, link back to this post and let's have some fun!! You have until Sunday 9/23 at 11:59 pm EST to enter. And I'll pick a winner announced shortly after! What do you think?? In fact....let's make it REAL! Here's a Linky Tool that you can use if you want to participate (see below), I just signed up!! Ok, let's have FUN!!! Let's see where this goes! Thanks for stopping by!

  14. Your stamps are just so cute so thanks for the chance to win. My card was inspired by the hill imagery and a sheep jumping on it.
