Hi there, everyone!!! I'm stopping by today with one more project I made using something from our new release and I wanted to share it with you today!
If this is the first you're hearing of our new released you'll want to head on over to our website HERE to see everything just released in store Monday.
I didn't get a chance to make something using this lovely die during our release hop and it's so pretty and I really couldn't wait to play with it so here is a little something I whipped up today.
I actually turned this die into a STAMP! I started by cutting this die using craft foam which cut very easily with a couple of passes through my machine. Once I pulled away the majority of the extraneous pieces, I added adhesive to a piece of vellum and laid it over my die cut which I had facing up. Voila! Here is my makeshift stamp!
To stamp with this, I gently pressed my Versamark pad over the exposed stamp and stamped onto stone cardstock and did a little heat embossing with this FABULOUS new Nuvo Embossing Powder in Glitter Noir - which I love!
I trimmed it out by hand and adhered it to a piece of dark grey cardstock which I trimmed a little larger. Then, I made aqua card base which I die cut with the largest die from my Fringe Scalloped Rectangle Dies adding in the fringe you see there. Then, I added a patterned paper which I am TOTALLY digging from the Love & Adore 6x6 pad from Simple Stories. I tied on a little raspberry twine and popped on some enamel dots and called it done.
I actually managed to make one more card for you today and here it is.
I started with the craft foam remnant from the faux stamp I made above. I used the negative piece which I cleaned up a bit with scissors and then used as a stencil.
I taped it down with washi over my white card base and did a little ink blending. Once dry I trimmed my panel and shaped the corner as you see.
Then, using this awesome Rose Gold Foil paper I purchased at Paper Source I die cut my Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die and adhered it over my stenciled heart. I proceeded to die cut my stone card base with my Quilted Stitched XOXO Die and then attached my focal panel with foam tape and tied everything with black twine. I'm really glad I pursued my idea to use this faux stencil because I love love love the results!!!!
The GREAT thing about both of these projects is that both my faux stamp and stencil are reusable!! YAY!!
This die is super pretty and can do so much! I hope you'll check it out on our website and add it to your collection!!!
I actually made a couple of very quick hello videos over the last two days. They're informul, unedited and just me in my office doing my thing taking a few minutes out to chat with you. The first video focuses on our new released Forever Hearts Dies Layers I and II.
Video 2 is just a quick look at my favorite project from the release made with our Farm Love Stamps and a quick look at that set.
I hope you'll check these out and give them a thumbs up on YouTube if you'd like to see more!

Hello and welcome back to our new release hop for January here at Lil' Inker Designs! I'm glad you're here again!
If by chance it's your first day joining us then I'd invite you to visit our Day 1 and Day 2 posts.
In those posts I go into great detail about each of the new items we release. Today is Day 3 and it's more of a quick re-cap and a couple of new projects for you to see.
I'm so excited about this new crop of goodies in the store. If you'd like to take a closer look CLICK HERE to go to our website. Not only do I give you an in depth description of each item and their approximate sizes but there is also a project gallery there on each item's page showing you everything that's been made using that item.
Oh my goodness - I love this one!!! I started by stamping and coloring the car image from the Galentine's Day Stamps which I trimmed out by hand. We don't have coordinating dies for this set. If this is something you find yourself wanting please write to me and let me know.
I mounted my card on a white panel which I die cut with one of the circles from my Silly Stitched Die Set (previously released but unendingly awesome).
Once I had my focal panel complete I mounted it to an aqua card base which I had previously die cut with our new Quilted Stitched XOXO Die. It adds the perfect yum!!! Then I did a little paper layering for my sentiment and patterned paper. Oh and a little washi never hurts so on went the washi!
Next up, I made this sweet little tag. In a perfect world I would have tied this to a bottle of beautiful blush wine I have in my cabinet but I'm sorry - I just didn't get a chance to and more than likely once adorned I'd give that wine away and I really want to keep it, LOL! SO, envision this tag on that pretty pink wine if you will and you'll see that this is the perfect little saying and image to pop on a tag and bottle of wine and bring to a friend's house as I'm sure they've done that for you. I'm obsessed with this font and you can be sure I'll be using it again. ACTUALLY, I used it in our Jar of Flowers Stamps too! Also seen here is the tag from our Silly Stitched Squares Die Set and a circle I cut a little from our Stitched Mats: Circles Die Set (both previously released sets). Very easy to make in a pinch and color.
Last but not least is the hardest card I've ever tried to photograph!!! HAHAHAH!!! It's filled with shimmer. I started by stamping my own background with my Love Is Love Stamps. I used a bunch of differently colored Fresh Inks and put them right to white card stock which I then sprayed with Mister Huey's Color Mists in the color "Shine" which I purchased from my pal Vanessa at Butterfly Reflections Ink. Love her and her shop! Definitely check it out if you haven't!
Once my stamped layer was complete I trimmed and scored a card base using teal green card stock which I layered with a holographic acetate from Bazzil called Pearl Mylar. I purchased this at Paper Source. It's WICKED COOL!!!!!!! Then, I stamped the phrase from the Love Is Love Stamps onto pink paper and heat embossed in white and then I trimmed it into a flag. The hearts you see were stamped and hand cut. So they're actually stamps I made by hand with a foam sheet and my Love You More Balloons and Hearts Die Set, previously released. I die cut the foam and then used them as stamps.
