Hi there, everyone!!! I'm stopping by today with one more project I made using something from our new release and I wanted to share it with you today!
If this is the first you're hearing of our new released you'll want to head on over to our website HERE to see everything just released in store Monday.
I have a card I just made and I'd like to share using our new Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die.
I didn't get a chance to make something using this lovely die during our release hop and it's so pretty and I really couldn't wait to play with it so here is a little something I whipped up today.
I actually turned this die into a STAMP! I started by cutting this die using craft foam which cut very easily with a couple of passes through my machine. Once I pulled away the majority of the extraneous pieces, I added adhesive to a piece of vellum and laid it over my die cut which I had facing up. Voila! Here is my makeshift stamp!
To stamp with this, I gently pressed my Versamark pad over the exposed stamp and stamped onto stone cardstock and did a little heat embossing with this FABULOUS new Nuvo Embossing Powder in Glitter Noir - which I love!
I trimmed it out by hand and adhered it to a piece of dark grey cardstock which I trimmed a little larger. Then, I made aqua card base which I die cut with the largest die from my Fringe Scalloped Rectangle Dies adding in the fringe you see there. Then, I added a patterned paper which I am TOTALLY digging from the Love & Adore 6x6 pad from Simple Stories. I tied on a little raspberry twine and popped on some enamel dots and called it done.
I actually managed to make one more card for you today and here it is.
I started with the craft foam remnant from the faux stamp I made above. I used the negative piece which I cleaned up a bit with scissors and then used as a stencil.
I taped it down with washi over my white card base and did a little ink blending. Once dry I trimmed my panel and shaped the corner as you see.
Then, using this awesome Rose Gold Foil paper I purchased at Paper Source I die cut my Love You More Than Words Script Heart Die and adhered it over my stenciled heart. I proceeded to die cut my stone card base with my Quilted Stitched XOXO Die and then attached my focal panel with foam tape and tied everything with black twine. I'm really glad I pursued my idea to use this faux stencil because I love love love the results!!!!
The GREAT thing about both of these projects is that both my faux stamp and stencil are reusable!! YAY!!
This die is super pretty and can do so much! I hope you'll check it out on our website and add it to your collection!!!
I actually made a couple of very quick hello videos over the last two days. They're informul, unedited and just me in my office doing my thing taking a few minutes out to chat with you. The first video focuses on our new released Forever Hearts Dies Layers I and II.
Video 2 is just a quick look at my favorite project from the release made with our Farm Love Stamps and a quick look at that set.
