June New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hi there, everyone!!! How are you today? Are you ready to check out the newest stamps and dies to arrive at Lil' Inker Designs???

New to Lil' Inker Designs? Love to support small, independently owned, women-run business? LID is for you! I've been running LID out of two bedrooms in my home for the last TEN years. In addition to my amazing Design Team Members and those who support me with graphic design, my operation is entirely a one-woman show!

Let's GO!!!! We have a little bit of something for everyone in this release from tea-themed stamps and dies, birthday supplies and another addition to our ever-popular Quilted Stitched Dies collection.

(Remember, our products are photographed at an angle to prevent intellectual property and design theft for counterfeit production in China. All of our items are of the highest quality and manufactured in the United States.)

First up are our brand new Cake Party Stamps and coordinating Dies!

Our Cake Party Stamps are entirely hand illustrated including the sentiments! These cutie-pie animals are jumping for joy because they're so excited to celebrate your special occasion or birthday! We've included a bear, elephant, lion, and giraffe as well as some very important accessories like a cake, because a party without cake is just a meeting! We've also included balloons, party hats, confetti and noisemakers for you to create with. The sentiments read hooray, celebrate and let's party - simple but perfect greetings.

We've also created a Cake Party Die Set which will cut out the images in the stamp set with precision and ease!

Next up is a die that is perfect for any paper crafter's collection. It's our Happy Birthday to You Word Die. It's done is a perfect, script font and the layout of the words is extremely card-making friendly. You can even trim off the "to you!" and this can read just as Happy Birthday. I like that versatility!

Our new Hand Drawn Thankfulness is also entirely hand illustrated if the title didn't already tip you off! It's the thanks-themed sister to our Hand Drawn Happiness Stamps which were a HUGE hit! Just like it's happiness counterpart, these stamps also perfectly coordinate with our Shaker Tag Die Set but of course can be used in any way you like. I just love the whimsical feel of these images as well as the larger size. They make great phrases to stamp on tags or will serve perfectly as focal images for your card making.

Please Note: There is a small typographical error on the image of the stamp set above. All purchased sets will arrive with a corrected stamp image. It happens to the best of us!! :)

This is one of the coolest Quilted Stitched Dies we've ever created. I call it our Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die because it features a pattern of squares or cubes all linked together. However, depending on how you see the pattern it might also look like six-petaled flowers! This means you have lots of versatility on how you use this die. Our Quilted Stitched and Cover Up Dies are the easiest and fastest ways to add texture, pattern and visual interest to all your card making projects!!!

Dear LID, have you forgotten about us tea lovers? NOPE!!! I gotcha!!!

Here is our fantastic new Time for Tea Die Set. It features a teacup perfectly sized for card making as well as a saucer and tea bag die that hangs right off the rim of your tea cup. It's adorable and you're going to love it as much as you love the real thing.

You're going to want to pair our new Time for Tea Die Set with it's coordinating Time for Tea Stamps!!

I was inspired, once again, by Rae Dunn ad included some large, single words that I thought would be fun for card making; mom, dad, friend, and teacher. These stamp perfectly on our teacup die as do the rest of the sentiments in the set which says things like, "enjoy the little things", "be silly, be honest, be kind", "you're stronger than you think", "gimme some sugar" and more!
Throughout the set, you'll notice that there are some much smaller sentiment stamps. They're designed specifically to be stamped onto the tea bag die cut in our Time for Tea Die Set and they coordinate or play off of some of the main greetings in the set very nicely. I've even given you a simple heart and star stamps for the tea bag as well.
I've also included 4 pattern stamps. They will stamp around the rim of your teacup perfectly.

I think you're going to really love these new supplies. If you already own our Coffee Talk 2 Stamps and Dies, you'll love that the new tea stuff can be mixed and matched with the coffee supplies!! Woot!! I'm really excited about these new items!

So, what do you think?

Would you like to see a project I made for today using the new supplies?

I had an idea to turn the Time for Tea Die into a gift card holder and I was SO excited when I saw that the opening in the cup was just large enough to fit a card! Yahoooooo! I love when things like this happen. I didn't plan this!

I started by cutting my cup and knowing I wanted it to be for a teacher I stamped it with our previously released Teacher Talk Stamps to make this cute apple and then with the "teacher" stamp from the Time for Tea Stamps which I then heat embossed in black. Then, I created a 4.25" square card base using kraft paper and I die cut it with our previously released Quilted Stitched Woodgrain Die for some texture.

To turn this card into a gift card holder, I placed my teacup on my base where I wanted it to be and traced the inside of the cup where the tea would be and I cut away that piece from my card base using a craft knife. I nestled my teacup into a saucer I cut from red paper and then adhere the whole thing over the opening I cut. Then, I completed my card front with a sentiment from the Teacher Talk Stamps.  To keep my gift card in place, under the card front, I placed a folded piece of card stock so there is a pocket keeping the card from slipping through the front.

Do you think you'd be interested in winning this entire release for your very own?
