I made several projects to share with you today and so did some of the members of our Design Team. I'd love to share them with you.
When I thought about what I should create to share with you today I instantly thought of making a gift card holder being held with our Make A Santa Dies and this is where I landed with that idea.
First, I die cut our Stitched Gift Card Holder Die and I cut off all the folding parts and kept the center where the gift card nests. Then, I used our Make A Santa Die and cut all the pieces of my Santa from green, white and brown papers. After adding in my gift card and assembling Santa's face I attached it to the holder base with foam tape. The mittens and boots are also attached with foam dots on the base so that the card can slip right out and not disturb the packaging. Isn't this sweet? Yet another clever and CUTE use for this adorable die set!
This tag is technically not finished yet because I haven't used it or tied it to a package but I love the way it turned out so much I wanted to share it with you. It was made using our Moody Santa Stamps and Anytime Tags Dies and a little water coloring. LOVE THIS stamp set.
Here is a quick and easy way to dress up a small thoughtful gift. This is a set of three sheet masks from Sephora (which are PHENOMENAL BTW and AFFORDABLE!!!). I stacked the masks and wrapped them with a wide strip of patterned paper and then tied everything together with a green bow and added a candy cane. I could have called it done but I added this quick and fast ornament tag made using our All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamps and cut with our Oh My Ornaments Dies. Quick, easy and CUTE!!!
The next few wrapped presents I'm hoping will be your faves. They're mine and they're super special to me!! So all of these gifts are for my mom, Aunt, Cousin and Sister-in-law. I wrapped each one in vintage fabric I've been storing, okay hoarding for many years which I found in my Grammy's sewing stash in her basement. I love knowing these are fabrics she thought were pretty and may have used to make clothes and other lovely things. I just know that all my favorite ladies will appreciate this extra sentimentality. And together with my Lil' Inker Christmas Word Tag Dies, these packages were SUPER easy to dress up.
For the first two small boxes, I wrapped each in vintage fabric and tied each end with coordinating seam binding ribbon. Then, I used my Christmas Word Tag Dies to cut out these lovely word tags from kraft paper. I tied one on to each package with some metallic twine and added in some jingle bells for an added touch. Honestly, they make me squeal with delight. I love love love love love them so much I almost don't want to give them away!!!! Hahahahaha!!!
I repeated the same idea here but wrapped a little bit differently because of the boxes shape. This fabric coordinated perfectly with some denim ribbon in my stash. Love!!!
The largest of the gifts was wrapped with pieces of fabric that were previously sewn together by my grandmother and is almost the beginnings of a quilt in the making. This one was tied off with a double bow using this gorgeous burlap ribbon and tied off again with metallic twine and a Joy word tag in kraft.
I really hope my favorite ladies will enjoy the presentation of these presents and will cherish these little bits of my Grammy's crafty past. I think they will.
Now, I have a couple of projects from our Design Team made for today that I know you will love.
First up is a card from Jen Carter who's clever creations never cease to amaze me.
I am in love with how Jen has incorporated the bear from our Rustic Christmas Stamps here peeking out from behind these pretty trees! These are our Filled Christmas Tree Stamps and Dual Stitched Christmas Tree Dies. There are some other Lil' Inker Designs goodies here as well. For more details on this lovely project be sure to visit Jen Carter's Blog, Jen's Ink Spot, today!!
Here, Design Team Member Chrissy Larson used our Triangle Treat Holder Die to create this little treat package which she's decorated using our Moody Santa Dies and Stamps and MORE!!! This is such a fun way to wrap up a small gift for the holidays! For all the details on how Chrissy made this be sure to stop by her blog today, Three In the Nest Creations!
Last but not least is a project from DT Member Stephanie Gold.
WOW! This project is filled with so much Lil' Inker goodness! The main focus is our Oh Deer Christmas Stamps. I love that it was stamped on patterned paper. It SO works in an edgy and fabulous way. For all the details on how Stephanie made this project visit her blog today, Golden Simplicity.
