July Release Day 1 and check out LID at Paper Crafter's Library today!

Hi there, Lil' Inker Friends!

I'm here today because it's NEW RELEASE TIME! Yahooooooooo!!!!

It's been a long few weeks for the Pryor family here BUT my son is now fully recovered from his tonsil and adenoids surgery (YAY) and we're finally ready to get on with Summer and my first big gig is this release!

Let's get right on with what's new in store this week!

First up is the uber-lovely Cover Up Die: Dotted Scallops. This die creates a gorgeous, intricate and feminine die cut pattern on a pre-made A2 card base or on a smaller focal panel. Each of the dots you see in the graphic actually cut away from the paper leaving a gorgeous, dotted design. The dots vary in size. I seriously don't know what more to say about this. It's gorgeous and you'll love it!!! LOL!!

Here we have a set of stamps that I am LURVING called Greetings & Salutations!!!! I am obsessed with all things hand written. I was about to write "as of late" but let's be honest. I've ALWAYS been obsessed with handwritten text. These sentiments are fun, USEFUL (which is ultra-important too) and pretty. My fave is the Greetings and Salutations stamp which gave this set its title. LOVE! This is a perfect stamp set for just because cards, but can even be used for wedding cards, congratulations cards, birthdays and love. Hello versatility. Me and versatility are BFF's!

Something you don't know about me...........I eat more pineapple than probably anyone on the planet. If I get low on it in the fridge I start to twitch and get panicked - not kidding. I have some EVERY MORNING OF EVERY DAY and funny enough because of my obsession with pineapple I wrote down a super long time ago to create a pineapple stamp set. Well, I finally got around to designing this and low and behold......pineapples are trendy right now! Who woodda thunk it?

Pineapple Panache is truly a fun little set to play with. Each pineapple body is done in a different graphic pattern and each of these "bodies" can be stamped right side up OR upside down (insert pun about pineapple upside down cake here, LOL)! And no matter how you stamp your pineapple you can finish it off with a decorative topper done in a one step stamp (pineapple top and scalloped edge together) OR topper and scalloped edge stamped separately. We gave you these options so that YOU can make some colorful pineapples. I went with the traditional meanings of pineapples, which if memory serves, is for hope and friendship and welcoming so we gave you these sentiments in a bold and lovely font. Seriously, friends. This set ROCKS! It wouldn't be complete however without a coordinating pineapple die. So....we made one!!

Our Pineapple Panache Die is the perfect compliment to its coordinating stamp set of the same name. No matter how you decide to stamp your pineapple this die will cut it out perfectly. :)

Our Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain marries two of your favorites; your love for stitching and woodgrain all together in one little die!!!!!! Of course we HAD to add a little heart in there for good measure, right? I can only imagine that there are tons of uses for this die. It's really so pretty and intricate as a background. I know you're going to love it!! I already do!!

The snails are here!!!! Oh, my goodness! Could this Snailed It stamp set be any cuter? I am in love with these little snails and all the fun and punny things they have to say. You can create really clean and simple cards with this stamp set or you can go all out and create an outdoor scene. If I'm being honest, when I created it I envisioned CAS cards. Cute image, die cut, sentiment...BOOM! DONE! I love that!
Here we've given you two snail bodies each facing in opposite directions. Then each snail has an option for a shell; either plain or polka-dotted. So, to create one full snail, you're doing two step stamping and we did that so you can mix and match your favorite colors together on one lil' guy.

Of course this set wouldn't be complete without coordinating dies so we gave you a set of two for each of the fully stamped snails. My fave way to complete these guys is to stamp the body, die cut, then stamp the shell. I'm a bit of a perfectionist (if you didn't know) and I get the most perfect results this way.

Our Snailed It Dies coordinate with our stamp set of the same name. You will love having these handy for perfect little snails without the fussy cutting!

Ok and last but not least are our new Quilted Flower Dies. When I first began conceptualizing this die it started out as a Cover Up Die with quilted flowers repeating. It was pretty. You would have loved it! LOL! BUT I thought it would be a lot more useful and FUN and versatile if I gave you ONE quilted flower that just cut stitching. So that's what we designed and then I thought that you should have a solid, matching flower so that you can cut one out without using scissors. So we added one to the set and then I thought it would be even more fun if we gave you a third and funky option so the outlined flower was born thus completing our Quilted Flower trio! The best thing about this die set is that ALLLLLLLLL three of these dies can be used together to create lots of different flower options! YES!!! There are about a bajillion combinations of flowers you can make using this die set!!!

I am going to rely on our design team to show you all the things this die set can do. Would you believe that I cut out a ton of flowers and set up to make you a video and my TRIPOD BROKE?????!!!!!!!! Talk about a total bummer. I tried being all McGyver with my camera... I just kept looking up at the ceiling thinking, "how can I get my camera up there?" and well...I couldn't make it happen.  Mr. Brown will be delivering a new and improved replacement shortly. Please stay tuned and say a little prayer that in the 2 hours and 15 minutes of free time to work that I have each day while Keith is at camp this Summer that I can get this done for you!!

SO........what do you think???? Do you like our new crop of goodies?????

YAY!!!!

I'd like to share some projects with you today and I'm going to focus on our new Pineapples. Speaking of pineapples........Lil' Inker Designs is being featured today on the Paper Crafter's Library website. I created an exclusive project for the PCL post featuring our new Pineapple Panache Stamps and Die. Be sure to head over and check out the post because I am giving away a HUGE prize to one lucky winner. Here's a sneak peek at my exclusive project for PCL! I'm really excited for this feature and I'm looking forward to meeting some new people who may not have heard of Lil' Inker Designs before. YAY!

To start us off on projects is the fresh and fruity lil' ditty! It was super easy and fun to make! I stamped three different pineapples in a trio of inks and then die cut them with my Pineapple Panache Die.  I used a stitched rectangle from our Long & Skinny Rectangles Die Set (which I heart oh so very much) and stamped my teeny sentiment just beneath to finish it off.
If you take a close look you'll see how in the first two pineapples I technically stamped the pineapple body upside down and finished off the bottom with a little scalloped stamp. The third was stamped right side up and finished off the same way. Isn't that neat?

Here I stamped six pineapple bodies and used my topper stamp with the combined scallop and top so that I could easily stamp both together in the same green. Friend is heat embossed in gold which is hard to see in this photo but it so pretty with my yellow fruit and stone card base.

Seriously I am LOVING this stamp set If you can only buy one thing from this release, goodness gracious buy the pineapples! LOL!!

Ok, so just a reminder that we have three $15 gift certificates up for grabs and all you have to do to be eligible to win one is comment on our designers' blogs as you hop today!
