Get crafty and have fun! I can't wait to see your projects. I enjoy seeing them so much!!

I made a little something for you today and I used our new Vintage Ink Stamps and Dies released in April because I'm thinking ahead to Father's Day and I SO need a card for the hubbs!

I started by stamping, coloring and die cutting the pieces you see above and cutting the anchor by hand. Can I just tell you that there is something about this set...It is a BLAST and EASY to color!!! I just LOVE this huge stamp set. There are just so many things it can do.
I decided to use kraft card stock for my base and focal point because it's just so easily masculine. On my focal panel I arranged a few different stamps from the set onto an acrylic block and created this text background using kraft ink for a shadowy effect. On my base layer I die cut a stitched border using the largest die in our Stitched Mats: Rectangles Die Set.  This came together quickly and easily I must say and I'm happy with the results and I think my hubby will too!!

I had so much fun coloring and die cutting so I kept going and decided to make another quick card with these flowers and our new Ombré Stripes Paper Pad.

I started with a blue card base which I die cut with the largest die in our new Dual Dotted Rectangles Die Set which makes that beautiful border all the way around - love! I layered on a piece of ombré striped paper in this orangey color to match the center of my flowers which I colored with Copics. I also used our Thanks Word Die which I cut from a lighter blue card stock and then did a little shading on with my Copics to make it look like it too was ombré.

I hope you're inspired to get crafty!!!!!!  Need a little more inspiration? Visit our Design Team's blogs today using the linky tool below my signature and see what their up to today to inspire you to get crafty this month for our Meetup!!!

Thanks again so much for joining us today. Now, get out those supplies and link to our challenge to be eligible to win up to a $50 gift certificate prize. Wahoooo!!!
