Lil' Inker Designs & TImeless Twine Blog Hop!!!!

Hi there, Lil' Inker Friends!!! It's a very exciting week for us here! The Lil' Inker Designers have teamed up with the Twine-ista's from Timeless Twine for a very fun, creative and inspiring blog hop this week!!

Each day there will be posts from designers on BOTH teams demonstrating Lil' Inker goodies and GORGEOUS twine from Timeless Twine - how fun is that?

Of COURSE each company will be giving away PRIZES! Lil' Inker is offering a $25 gift certificate and a $20 gift certificate to Timeless Twine is up for grabs too! We'll be picking winners from the comments so be sure to leave some love as you hop this week!

I can't say thank you enough to Stacy for SUCH a generous haul of gorgeous twine for our team! Have a look at the colors I picked out to work with! I didn't want to unwrap them because they're so purty! :)

 Have a look!

I started designing by picking some complimentary yellow and pink inks and papers to work with and just got inking on a white card base with our gorgeous feather stamps!! I softened the look and drew attention away from the background a bit by added a double layer vellum as a mat. I stamped my sentiment on a Stitched Mat: Circle in black ink and each of my feathers was stamped using watermark ink. Of course my project was topped off with this fantastic Raspberry Lemonade Twine. It was the perfect finishing touch!

I LOVED working with this twine! It was just the right thickness. It cut beautifully, tied perfectly and I LOVE that it was on a SPOOL!! Would you believe it if I told you these were my first spools of twine ever? YES! EVER! THIS is the way to store your twine! LOVE IT!

For my next project, I worked with Cape Cod Twine. I couldn't resist this lovely and trendy color combo! Here is used my twine as a design element creating a partially wrapped panel. I really like how this worked out and because I have a WHOLE BIG spool it was like I hardly used any twine from it at all! Also seen here are our Fancy Feathers Stamps and Fancy Feathers Die Set. I stamped my sentiment right onto my panel in grey ink. My feathers were die cut from daffodil card stock and stamped with daffodil ink. I chose to stamp one feather with it's coordinating feather stamp and the other with the hello stamp in the set. I really like the contrast it made. The feathers are then topped off with a coordinating twine-tied button and some strategically placed shimmery dots to cover up a fingerprint smudge! HA!!! It happens!

I hope you like my projects today and I hope you're inspired to get out your LID goodies and get some Timeless Twine and get to work!!!

You've got to check out the Bella Creationz Store on Etsy which features the Timeless Twine. It's FILLED with adorable and useful little crafty treats! You will love it!

Before I send you on your way, here is a line up of blogs you can visit the rest of this week as we celebrate our two teams coming together for some fun!
