Hi there, Everyone!!!
I'm so excited to be joining you today as part of a fun hop! We are celebrating for a couple of reasons: Lil' Inker Designs was featured in the current, first ever quarterly issue of Designed To Color in their Hue's Who column and......
and it's the very first birthday of Designed To Color! To celebrate both we have a great line up of designers for you to hop with today!
Hopefully, you've arrived here from the fabulous and talented Isha's blog. If not, head on back to the beginning of the hop at the Designed To Color blog so you don't miss out on any greatness!!!
For any Designed to Color Fans that might be visiting the Lil' Inker Designs blog for the first time....WELCOME!!! We are a growing company who designs and manufactures clear stamps and dies in the freshest designs! We feature two illustrated lines in our store: 2 Cute Ink, which is a fun and cute line of animals with awesome sentiments and our Sugar Kissed Cottage which is also fun and cute but depicts vintage inspired people to color with fantastically designed sentiments. Lil' Inker Designs was "born" when I (Laura Pryor) had an idea for a die and stamp set that I couldn't find on the market. I grouped with a talented and professional graphics artist friend of mine from high school - the amazing Ariana Grant - and the rest is, as they say, history! Today we have a full line of fun and innovative clear stamps and dies that we're so proud of!
Today, each designer has made a birthday themed card to celebrate Designed To Color's First Birthday!!!! Here's mine!!!
I am absolutely obsessed with our Snarky Lady I set from our Sugar Kissed Cottage line and I just couldn't resist getting crafty with her when I saw the theme of today's hop.
I started by coloring our Snarky Lady with Copic markers and trimming her out. On a teal base I mounted patterned papers in sort of a paper-blocking fashion from My Mind's Eye and tied the base with my favorite twill ribbon. I then stamped my sentiment in VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with black embossing power. Of course I had to embellish so I added a trio of buttons and some ab crystal rhinestones.
Here is a peek at our Snarky Lady I set in its entirety... What's your favorite sentiment??
Before I let you go...what's a hop without PRIZES?? Lil' Inker Designs is giving away a prize pack of stamps to one lucky winner! Designed To Color has a copy of their current issue to give away but also the June/July, August/September, AND the October/November issue (isn't that amazing?) and Carisa has a prize on her blog for you as well!! All you have to do is leave us some love along your way today to be eligible to win! The hop ends on March 7th 11:59 CST. The winners of the prizes will be posted no later than March 9th!
Isn't this FUN???
