Lil' Inker Designs New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Helllllo there!! Thank you so much for joining me today here on the Lil' Inker Designs Blog. It's a big day because we're launching our new holiday release stamps and dies!!

Let's get right into showing off our new items!!

First up, we're really excited about this new stamp set and die set which is a follow up release to last year's Moody Santa. Rowdy Reindeer is Santa's sassy partner in crime. You will enjoy coloring this reindeer and stamping his facial expressions, smiley face, sad face and tongue sticking out face, which you can mix and match depending on the sentiment you choose to work with. 

This set will help to make super cute gift tags and so much more! 

 At first glance this stamp set might look like a lot of mumbo jumbo but just look at the graphic beside it!

This is a set of letter stamps that can be stamped to read Peace, Love and Joy. Each letter has a corresponding shadow stamp that can be used to make this wonderful mix and match of your favorite ink colors. This is a fun and unique stamp set and I loooove it! And don't forget about the snow falling stamps we've included for just a bit of extra fun.

Oh. MY. GOSH!!!! I love love love love looooooove these Festive Florals Stamps!!!! Our collection was lacking a set of Christmas florals...but not any longer! What makes this set special is that it's entirely hand drawn and has a slightly rustic feel. You will love working with these images and seeing how nicely they pair with another set we're releasing today and sets we've released previously.

Above is our Festive Florals Die Set that we've created to perfectly cut out our Festive Florals Stamps with precision and ease!

This is our gorgeous new Cover Up Die: Geometric Snow Die that we're adding to our collection of Cover Up Dies! This one looks like snow falling in a way, hence the name. Trust me. This one is gorgeous and you will love it!

Squeee! I love this Christmas Words Tree Die! It's a combo of holiday words in the shape of a Christmas Tree even featuring a star on top! This makes for a FABULOUS gift tag of perfect for any card front! LOVE THIS!

Another fun stand alone die with a unique feature... Our Noel Word Die. The word Noel features antlers over the "O" and the center of the O that cuts away can be used as a nose making this look like a reindeer! You might even add in some googly eyes for fun or keep it plain. It really renders itself to a masculine feeling card or dressed up for one with a fun feeling.

If you're looking for a classically beautiful image for your holiday crafting with a vintage vibe you've come to the right place. Our Vintage Christmas Wreath Stamps feature a lovely wreath shape and holiday florals. The center of the piece is where you can stamp your holiday greetings. Isn't this so pretty?

This Joy to the World Stamp Set is a follow up to our hand illustrated greetings but with a holiday theme. We've  left the main portion of the greeting one solid piece and the smaller elements can be stamped in different colors. You can even stamp this set in such a way that it resembles a Christmas tree. If you love our Be the Reason and You'll Never Regret Stamps, you'll love this one too!!!

I am literally in love love love with this Season's Greetings Stamp Set! It's a follow up in some ways to previously released Oh Deer Christmas and 'Tis the Season Stamps, but this time we've featured a frame stamp with attached banner and then three interchangeable images of these adorable animals which all stamp inside the frame. All of the greetings stamp to fit on the banner. A plus? If you have the previously released stamps most of the sentiments can be mixed and matched throughout the sets.
I found that these animals paired perfectly with our new Festive Florals Stamps and Dies and I also found I had fun working with the animal images separately from this set on other projects. This is super versatile!

My first card also features a sentiment from our All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamps. Isn't it pretty? I love that it coordinated with these florals. Here I did some simple Copic Marker coloring and once dry I arranged my layout and added some Wink of Stella to make everything sparkle.

Here I've arranged the florals in the set in a wreath shape and topped it with a gold heat embossed greeting from the set all over our Cover Up Die Stitched Woodgrain. Here I used my Zig Real Bush Markers and not the Copics in the picture on watercolor paper. My fave is the Tim Holtz paper. It's super white and I like that!

I have some other exciting news for our shoppers today as well! We have added Apple Pay and Amazon Pay as checkout options on our website. PayPal and credit cards are still accepted, of course, and these new options have been added for your convenience.

Please keep in mind that Apple Pay options will only appear when you are checking out on an Apple device that already has Apple Pay enabled.

We also have a new LIVE CHAT option on our site which will be available from time to time when I'm in the office and working. Be looking for me! You'll know I'm online if you're on the site and see a grey button on the bottom right of your screen with a green light blinking.

Here's a little something I made today in honor of World Cardmaking Day. I wanted to experiment with the partial die cutting technique.

I started with an orange card base cut to 4.25" square and the chubbier pumpkin from the Seen On Halloween Die Set with its coordinating stitched detail die inside of it. I used some washi tape to tape this down where I wanted it and I ran it through my die cutting machine only far enough so it wouldn't completely cut through the paper leaving the bottom of the pumpkin attached.

Once I made enough of a cut, I removed the pumpkin die but left the stitching die in place and ran that through again to get the full body of stitching you see above. Then, I used a ruler and pencil to mark my window and cut it out by hand.

Once my pumpkin and window frame were completely cut I embellished using leaf dies from our Acorn Die Set in some fun, Fall colors as well as our Thankful Word Die and some lovely twine. EASY and SO FUN!!!

You Made It Monday, Vol. 41

You know how much we love seeing what you create with the products in the Lil' Inker Designs store.  You never cease to amaze us with your talent and creativity. Here is just a sampling of the awesome creations you have shared with us lately.

I couldn't help but stop and stare at this gorgeous creation from, Esther (@thecarnelianwood).
 

I know, it's another card featuring Wreath of Roses Stamps but you guys make it look so gorgeous, I can't resit sharing these amazing cards. I love the amazing stripes Esther created to help make her colors pop.  Let's just talk about those colors...wow!  What a fun choice of colors and cut out with the Wreath of Roses Dies and popped up on those stripes, it just shines!  Gorgeous.

I stumbled upon this card from Jennifer, Ladybug Designs, when I was playing along with a challenge.  It was so pretty, I had to share.

It's amazing how a simple piece of patterned paper and a killer die and stamp set can create an amazing card.  This is the perfect example of that.  The Celebrate Word Die look absolutely amazing mixed with the layers on this card and the banner from the Sweet Celebration Dies and sentiment from Sweet Celebration Stamps finish this card off perfectly.  So simple and so beautiful!

Another card that really caught my eye comes from Rosa (@scrapconr).

I just love Rosa's little touches of green on the gorgeously stamped Be the Reason Someone Smiles Today Stamps.  I love the touch of the puffy heart and the background is so fun and unique.  Thanks so much for sharing!

 
There is a bunch of cuteness on this card from Friederike (@greteiris).

 

I just love the adorable background created with the adorable images from the I'll Be Brief Stamps.  It is super cute with the tone on tone look.  The little windows are just perfect to have the sweet animal images giving you a little peek at their cute briefs too.  This card totally made me smile!

The final card today is putting me in the fall mood and comes from Debby (@debbydoescards).

I couldn't resist sharing this card.  Not only is it super cute but I love the Pumpkin & Flower Greetings Stamps that were used to create it.  The colors Debby chose and little accents of gloss really make this little pumpkin the only image this perfectly CAS card needs to make an impact.  Love it!
