April Release Hop Day 3

Hi there!!!! It's our third and final day of our new release hop!

These posts are also where I go into lots of detail about our new items. Today, being the third day of our hop I'll be sharing another preview of the product graphics are new to the store this week and sharing some new projects I made.

Let's have a look at some new projects today too!

Here I did a little foiling with the heart world image in the One Love Stamp Set. Honestly, I'm terrible at foiling. My images never come out perfectly but I just had to. This image screamed rainbow foil to me! Once complete, I die cut the image with the coordinating One Love Dies and did a little heat embossing of my sentiment which is also stamped on one of the double ended banners in the One Love Die Set. Everything was mounted onto a black card base cut with the new Cover Up Die Dotted Chevrons which I backed with white card stock.

Here I used the same supplies but in a totally different way. I started first by stamping my image from the One Love Stamp Set in Versamark and applying some heat and stick powder. Once sticky, I covered my image with gold flakes and I loooooooove the results. I put this on the inside of my card and die cut a window using the heart in the One Love Die Set. Across the opening I laid a strip of navy card stock which I heat embossed with a sentiment in the set and added a little heart I cut from our Stitched Hearts Die Set. I really like how this turned out.

Here I made a shaker using our new Shaker Tag Die Set. Isn't this great? I stamped the inside portion of the tag with an image from the Grad Class 2018 supplement set. My grad cap sticker was found at Paper Source and is from ek Success. This is perfect to tie onto a gift for a grad. This says "reach for the stars". Apparently, I overfilled my tag. Whoops! I got a little overly excited about using sequins!

Here's another tag I made using the Shaker Tag Die Set but this time a tag frame but not a shaker. It's hard to tell in my photo but my frame is rose gold foil paper (not copper as it looks in the photo). I heat embossed my sentiment from the Hand Drawn Happiness Set in rose gold embossing powder onto a piece of paper from our Dip Dyed Ombré Paper Pad which were just the right tones. Everything was topped with a few flowers from our Perky Posies Die Set. 

This is my favorite project from today. I love this Have a Nice Day Stamp SO MUCH!!!!! I used my Fresh Inks and did some sponging to achieve the rainbow look. I found out that if you use a MISTI and sponge and stamp one color at a time your inks won't dry while you sponge the whole image. Also making an appearance here are our Perky Posies Dies, Stitched Scallop Border Die and Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die.

April Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hello my crafty friends!!! Thank you for joining me today for day 2 of our new release hop!

If you're just joining us today, definitely go check out my Day 1 post because I super love the projects I share and my Day 1 posts are where I typically go into the most detail about the new items, how to use them and tips and tricks!!

Would you like another close up look at the items we released in the store this week?

If you had to pick one thing to purchase from this release, I might have to tell you that the new Brushed Plaid Stamp Set is the thing to buy!!!!

This is a full background stamp which will cover your A2 card front and it's done in a plaid pattern but with a modern and updated brushed or painted style. It's SO COOL! We've also included a couple of separate stripe stamps so you can add a bit of color or even some sparkle with some heat embossing. The sentiments are simple but oh so useful! Use this together with our coordinating Hello Word Die Set. The hello word is the exact size and shape of the hello seen in the stamp and then we've included a halo layer to outline your word die. Great to coordinate but of course entirely useful all on its own for many many projects!

I love adding cover up dies to our collection because I love how quickly and easily they add texture and pattern to card fronts! This one is no exception and is done in this dotted chevron style. If you love polka dots and chevrons - this one is for you! It's lacey and feminine and yet easily masculine all at the same time. How's that for versatility?

Newly released is week is our Grad Class 2018 which is a supplement to last year's full version designed for 2017. It's only $5 and the original set is $10 so you can purchase both and all for the regular price of a full size stamp set. YAY!  These stamps are LOVELY to design with for grads!!!

I love our new Hand Drawn Happiness Stamps! Each sentiment is on the large size and illustrated by hand. I love their whimsical look and feel. They're sure to make any card pretty just by being there. They're perfect for birthdays, gift giving, thanks and more!

Our new Shaker Tag Die Set is lovely as well. Use the main, decorative tag for any and all of your tag crafts BUT you can easily turn it into a shaker using the inside die as well.

I'll get into the exact steps in my post tomorrow when I share my tag projects. If you already own our Apple Shaker or Ghost Shaker then you already know how to use this.

Ooooooooooooh! Watch out, crafters!! Our new Spring Wreath Die Set is a dream!!! It's an enormous die set containing three different sizes of wreaths each in a slightly different size and featuring a different detail. They are meant to be layered together but can be used separately. Then, layer over top the cute little flowers and leaves included in the set and just for a bit more fun we've included a happy word die. This is a FUN ONE to play with and I like the versatility you have with using the flowers and word die for lots of other different crafty projects. There's a lot of bang for your buck here.

This set is going to go fast. Our One Love Stamp Set features a world map in the shape of a heart and the sentiments are filled with positivity and love and are SO PERFECT for right now. The coordinating One Love Die Set is neat to cut out the world and the banners will house many of the sentiments included. We even included a Love Word Die. It was important to me that the die set be able to be used for more than just to cut out elements. Take a look - these dies can all be used for LOADS of other projects!

Have a Nice Day - isn't that just the nicest thing you can say and any ol' time? I think this is quite possible the most perfect sentiment for 'just because' cards. And this big bold greeting is perfection for playing with so many different stamping techniques. It's a GREAT stamp for your collection.

Last but certainly not least are our Best Mom Stamps and Best Mom Die Set. Fist, the sentiments in the stamp set are lovely and were designed with moms in mind and of course love and can even be tailored to say "you are the best" which means this set can be used for ANY occasion truthfully.

I'd like to focus on the stamp in the lower right-hand corner of the set because it's one of the funnest things about this set! It's a flower petal AND it can be used as a leaf. So, see the die set and that large, five petal bloom? Die cut first and then use your MISTI or stamping tool to stamp this petal five times creating this gorgeous oversized bloom!! Then, stamp it once and use the single petal die, turn it around and use it as the flower's leaf! How cool is that?

Would you like to see some projects I made using our Best Mom Stamps and Dies?

For this card, I did some stamping! I started with a stone circle cut with my Stitched Mats: Circles Dies and I just went for it with my Fresh Inks. Then, I layered my newly stamped medallion over a green square base which has been layered with a layer I cut down using our new Cover Up Die: Dotted Chevron. Isn't is pretty?!

Here I used the petal stamp from the set but not before I die cut my flower first. Then, I used my MISTI to stamp the petals perfectly. I inked each one with ink slightly darker on the inside and then lighter on the outside. Also seen here is our Mom Word Die and Fringe Scalloped Rectangles. Isn't that bloom SO PRETTY????

Here I made a cute little tag using the square tag in the Silly Stitched Squares Dies. I stamped the tag with the mom stamp in the set. Then, I created a little flower pot using the pot from my So Prickly Cactus Die Set. I also added the happy word die from the Spring Wreath Die Set and did a little heat embossing using stamps in the set. I love that this little flower pot can be used to make other cute little things like on this tag.
