Lil' Inker on SCS & Around the Blog World

Well, hi there. Did I ever tell you that my maiden name is Bognanno? We pronounce it is as "Bon Yanno" but some of our relatives and pretty much everyone else in the world pronounces it "Bog Nanno". My husband has officially dubbed me
Laura Blog Nanno!!!! Hahahah!!! Anywhoo.... I don't know what made me think of that!

I was just browsing the gallery at Splitcoast and I couldn't believe all of the new and amazing creations that have been added using Sentiment Flags. There were so many new creations that this post would go on forever. Sooooo, I would like to leave you with a link to the gallery HERE. Check it out!

And so that you have a lil' eye candy while you're here, check out this amazingly gorgeous creation from my friend Tammy Hershberger. My jaw dropped when I read that she hand wrote the sentiment! Hello! You can see her post about this project HERE.

I have to mention that Julee Tilman has also been doing some amazing things with Sentiment Flags and they have me literally giddy with delight! I linked you to a few of her cards in one of my last posts, but here are some new ones that you MUST see: HERE and HERE and HERE. BIG THANK YOU TO JULEE!!! :)

And check out these cuties from
Wanda Cullen: HERE and HERETina Hale: HEREKimberly Gajewski: HERE

It's a lot of clicking, but I think it to be a worthwhile trip!
If you hung in there, THANKS!!!

Sentiment Flag Tag

Helloooo!!! I made a project a few days ago using Sentiment Flags that I'd like to share here with you quickly. I made this for one of the contests over at Papertrey Ink for their anniversary celebration. The challenge was to make a tag with a frame.

I love discovering new sentiments I have in my collection that fit perfectly into my Sentiment Flag die. This one is from Papertrey Ink's Delightful Dahlia collection. To read about all of the elements I used to make this tag, please visit my post HERE.

Thanks for poppin' in!

It's Been A Little While!

Hieee! It's been a little while since I've posted a new project using Sentiment Flags so I thought I would stop by today and share a few things with you.

While I'm here today, I would like to give an update on designs from Lil' Inker. Ariana and I are putting the final touches on our next release. It's something fun and whimsical and I haven't yet seen this anywhere else. I'm REALLY excited about and I hope you will be too! I should be able to give you more info SOON!

And for the projects......

This is a card I made for today's Color Throwdown Challenge #128. I'm the hostess this week so I chose a fun palette of Valentine's colors. I am absolutely head over heels about being able to make fun banners with my Sentiment Flags die. I decided one was in order for the upcoming holiday!

You can read all about how this card was made by visiting my post HERE.

This next card was made for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge #104. I am the guest designer there for February and I couldn't be more delighted! It's been really fun to participate in a challenge that isn't driven by color or layout NOT that I don't LOVE my CTD because I do, but I'm finding this challenge makes me think creatively in different ways!

You can read all about this card by visiting my post HERE.

I've really been enjoying seeing my lil' Sentiment Flags popping up in different places. Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps, Poetic Artistry and Mojo Monday has been fabulously using Sentiment Flags.

You can see Julee's amazing creations by clicking on these links HERE and HERE and HERE. I can't even begin to tell you how this just makes me smile!! Ok, more like squeal and jump for JOY!!!

Here are more projects that made me jump for joy when I saw them! THIS one is by Luanne Ford. I love how Luanne combined Sentiment Flags with a beautiful Verve image. That gets a *V* for Versatility!

THIS creation by Tina Hale is just delicious! I love how she used Sentiment Flags with a sentiment she had in her collection (Versatile again! I love that!) and I just love the rhinestones she used with this sketch!

Great job, Ladies!!! Have a project you made using Sentiment Flags? I would LOVE for you to share it with me!

I designed this die and stamp set because it was something I wanted and couldn't find anywhere at the time. I thought that if it's something I wanted then maybe a whole bunch of other crafty ladies would too. I can't tell you how COOL it is to see you incorporating my once upon an idea into your beautiful projects!

I only hope that our next release will be as successful and well received as the first!

Thanks for stopping by today! If you're here, I luv ya!
