Introducing Our New Website, June Release Recap and PRIZE WINNERS ANNOUNCED!

Hi there and happy Monday! I'm here to recap our June Release and announce our prize winners but first I'd like to share some very exciting news with you!

Last night we launched our brand new website and we're really SO excited about it! We think you will be too. Here are some of the benefits our customers will receive from shopping/using our new site:
  • Customer Accounts - Now you can create an account on our site which can be used for order status and tracking and even order communication.
  • Improved Navigation - We think you'll love how we've grouped our products together for easy searching. There are even buttons on our homepage to take you to all of the products that are part of our new release and a button to see our featured items!
  • Improved Out of Stock Notices - A DRAMATICALLY more efficient system has been put into place for item restock notifications. You will no longer have to enter the name of the item(s) you want to be notified about and it's a simpler process all around.
  • Credit Cards AND PayPal - We have now integrated a seamless checkout using credit cards. We could always accept credit cards through PayPal but now you can check out right from your shopping cart with ease! PayPal is still available for payment for those who prefer it.
  • Product Reviews - Reviews can be left for your favorite products right on our site! Assign them a star rating and even leave a comment! I receive tons and tons of positive feedback on our products from customers regularly. Now, this feedback can finally be shared for all to see!
  • Shipping - Probably the biggest change to our new site is our improved shipping!
    • US Customers - Free Shipping is now available to customers in the US who place an order totalling $75 or more. USPS Flat Rate Priority Shipping is still available at a cost of $5.65 but now you will also be provided with a real-time, USPS First Class Rate at checkout based on the total weight of your order!

    • International Customers - Gone are the days of collecting shipping and making refunds for unused postage. Now, international customers will be given two options for shipping at checkout: USPS Flat Rate Priority AND a real-time, USPS First Class Rate based on the total weight of your order. This option will be MUCH more affordable at checkout! We're so excited about this new option to get our goodies overseas affordably and accurately priced at checkout.
This is a very exciting time for our little company! I hope you'll head over to our new site and check it out! We can still be found at www.lilinkerdesigns.com. Thanks!

Ok, so with every release we have I love to come by and show all of the projects made by our amazing designers in one place. There's something about seeing them all together which I find super inspiring. Each designer's work is showcased under their pictures in order by their first names. If you'd like more details about their projects, how they were made and the goodies they used you can click on their team photo/badge to be taken to their blogs.

I don't know about you but seeing all these lovely, creative and clever projects all in one place really makes me feel like getting crafty! How about you?

  3. Those are fantastic! It's pretty neat that you've updated and went up a notch. You're certainly not behind things. Anyway, in my opinion, every part of a website should be fine tuned and calibrated for maximum impact. Your new website looks really promising. Your products all look great as well. Good luck!

  4. I think streamlining the online shopping cart and other related paraphernalia is always a step in the right direction. It’s because in doing so, clients can just focus on choosing the products that they want to order, rather than be frustrated about having to search manually for them. The customer account is a particularly nice touch, especially with the tracking feature and order status implementation. It helps the clients know if their orders are about to arrive in the mail, as well as the company’s credibility and transparency. Cheers!

  5. I wanted to pass on some information that can save you a ton of headaches in the end. Never purchase those services where they promise to get you a ton of traffic to boost your page ranking. We enjoyed short term success and then were penalized by Google and dropped to the bottom of the search standings where we sat for a year.

  6. Looking at all those list of benefits really opened my eyes. I was lacking a bunch of them on my website, so we did a complete revamp to try and incorporate more of those benefits. It really is all about getting and keeping those customers as happy as possible during their time on the website because they can literally shop anywhere.
