Goodies Restocked and a Cute Gift Project

Hi there! Coming at you from Cape Cod, Massachusetts! Yes, I'm on vacation still but I wanted to quickly post about some goodies that have just been restocked in our store. I also have a fun little gift project that I thought I'd share as well! First off, here is the list of items that have just been restocked in our store...

This first one is perhaps our MOST anticipated!

Holly Jolly Die Set (coordinating Holly Jolly Sentiment Stamp Set is now sold separately)

Did you know? Our Stitched Mats: Rectangles were recently featured as an Editor's Pick in the current issue of Paper Crafts Magazine!

You can head right to our store's home page to see all of our brand new goodies that were just released on June 17th or you can use the links above to go directly to the page of your favorite restocked items.

I thought that since you were here I would share the teacher's gifts that I made for Keith's teachers this year using our brand new Folding Tags Die - Scallops and some oldies, but goodies!

I started with two colorful cold cups that I found at Staples. I personally love these cups and take them everywhere! I filled the cups with gift cards, candies and lemonade mixers along with pictures that Keith made for each of his teachers. Of course, they wouldn't be complete without a hand crafted tag for each so with that thought I instantly reached for my Folding Tag Die - Scallops, Flip Flop Dies and Sentiments, and Sunshine Die - Small.

These were super fun and FAST to make. First, I die cut two scalloped folding tags from white card stock and then a second tag from patterned paper. This one is from the Sunny Days Collection from Echo Park. I then used the striped tag for the inside of my folding tag. Using yellow vellum, I die cut my small suns. And using coordinating pink and orange card stock I die cut and assembled my flip flops and stamped happy Summer on each tag! Have a peek.....

I think each teacher was excited to receive these! I hope you like them!!

I am still on vacation this week and will return to regular business hours on June 29th. You may place orders during this time but please keep in mind that I will not begin to fill these orders until I return.

If you happen to already have an order on file waiting to be fulfilled, please feel free to place a second order. I will happily combine orders and refund duplicate shipping - so no worries there!

Ok, I am going to call it a night and return to full Cape Cod Relaxation Mode! Have a lovely evening and if you do have any questions for me or need customer service I am never far from email. Please feel free to reach me at lilinkerdesigns at gmail dot com any time!

Thanks and have a great night!

New Release Hop Day 4

I cannot believe it's Thursday! Oh my goodness what a week! Thank you so much for the overwhelming response to this week's new goodies!

Today is the final day of our new release hop and our entire group is posting today with their favorite projects.

Before I get to some new projects I have for you...let's have one more look at all the fabby goodies we released this week...

yum

gorgeous - love this one!

A serious must have! You've got to try the the negative stitching!!

Seriously? Where have these tags been all my life??

again...gorgeous!!!

Here are some brand new projects I have to share with you today....

This card features our brand new Stitched Mats: Circles and a sentiment from our Spot On Stamp Set.

This card features our Fanfare Scalloped Border Die and a sentiment from our Sugar Kissed Cottage Stirring In Lots of Love Set! This was the most random of colors but I really like how they just came together! I love when that happens! I also really LURVE this die with all of the pieces intact!

This is a card I made for my husband for Father's Day. I used colored vellum paper and our Stitched Mats: Circles. The #1 stamp is from our Sentiment Flags Stamp Se, which is on sale right now for only $10! I created the Dad stamp from an old tiny alpha set I had in my collection. This was so fun and easy to make and I really like the color combo too! Hubbs liked it!!

This might be one of my favorite cards I made for this release!! Here I used our new Cover Up Die: Pieced Chevrons. I die cut kraft paper, removed but saved ALL of the inside pieces and laid the die cut frame over Soft Stone card stock. It's such a soft and pretty look in person. I'm obsessed with this Simple Stories On Trend collection so here I used a flower from the set and a simple metal rimmed tag for my sentiment which is from our Sugar Kissed Cottage Eat Dessert First. It's hard to see but I used super tiny rhinestones on the flower centers for just a little touch of bling!

Well, that's everything I have for you for today! If you have any questions about any of our new products or how they work please feel free to email me any time at lilinkerdesigns at gmail dot com!

I've been getting a lot of email about some of the items in our store that are currently out of stock. The following items will be restocked in 2-3 weeks time approximately:
Rainbows & Clouds Dies, Sun Dies Large and Small, Notebook Dies, Stitched Mats: Rectangles, Instant Camera Dies, Balloon Dies, Party Hat Dies and Holly Jolly Dies which we have a HUGE number of people waiting for. These will be available for purchase separately from their coordinating stamp sets which have not yet been restocked.

If there is something or more than one thing that you're waiting for please subscribe to our Notification List by visiting one of the out of stock product's pages and clicking on the Notify Me button. From there you will be prompted with some simple on screen instructions. When these items become available again I will send you an email to let you know.

Just a reminder that Lil' Inker Designs is going to be on vacation Saturday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 30th. New Release Hop Day Three!!

Hieee!!! Welcome to day three of our new release hop!

This has been such a fun week! Are you ready for a little more?

Our Pieced Chevron Die is so exciting to play with! It cuts this intricate frame just slightly smaller than your A2 card base. The best part is all the pieces it cuts at the same time: pieced chevrons, diamonds and triangles in two sizes. You can created chevron borders in different colors and patterns, use the frame as a card front overlay or use the other pieces for a million different things. You get real bang for you buck with this die! I LOVE IT! You can see projects made using this die by visiting our store page HERE.

Our Stitched Mats: Circles is a set of 7 nested dies and the newest addition to our Stitched Mats Collection which you've been waiting oh so patiently for! This set features an exciting new twist! Not only does it cut Stitched Circles in varying sizes but it leaves a a stitched lined around the negative of the die as well. It's an incredibly fun addition to this product. An absolute must have for your collection!! HERE is a link so you can see these dies in action!

Today we're featuring projects made using our brand new Folding Tags Dies: Original and Scallops!

I have been wanting to bring you tag dies for a very long time but I really wanted to do something unique and never seen before in our crafty little world and I think we've done that! These are really like little mini cards and tags all in one. Once you cut your Folding Tag, fold it along the perforated line! The front and the inside can both be embellished and they've been designed so that a gift card fits perfectly inside! I think they're fab! I like the Original with it's plain flap (or straight edge flap) because it can used for anything. But the Scallops are really cool because it just adds a bit of feminine!

Ok, so we're chatted about the next two sets but I have yet to show you them in action!! Let's talk about our Fanfare Scalloped Border Die!

This guy looks all sweet an innocent but it is a BEAST of a die! :)
Not only does it look fantastic alone but it really comes to life when you used several of them layered together. In fact, they neatly and perfectly layer together. I discovered I like using this die two ways; with the scallops open (all inside cut pieces removed) or solid without removing any of the inside cuts.

Have a look so you can see what I'm taking about....

Here I die cut five different colors/pieces and easily assembled them on a card front trimming off the over hang. This die is just under 5.5 in. long so that it can be used on a horizontal card perfectly or trimmed to be used on a vertical card.

This is GORGEOUS in person. What an effect this die makes layered and all the pieces intact! I just LOVE IT! The sentiment you see is from our Sentiment Flag Additions Stamp Set and tied off with some navy, hemp twine.

Here's a little ditty I made orientating the scallops upwards which also give this die a whole new look. I love this die cut in black. It's just so elegant looking. The sentiment you see here is from our Sugar Kissed Cottage set, Stirring in Lots of Love. The card is tied off with some fantastic neon green twine.

This die is really fun to play with and I just KNOW you will go crazy when you get a chance to work with it!

Now, let' switch gears and talk about our awesome Spot On Stamp Set!

A few months back we released our terrific Connected Circles Die and we thought it was special enough to deserve it's own stamp set! Each of these fantastically patterned spots stamp perfectly on to our Connected Circle Die. Some of our spots contain words and each word spot has a coordinating over-sized sentiment in the best font ever! In fact, you've seen this font before. We first introduced it in our previously released Darling Diamonds Stamp Set. Everyone went crazy for this font; designers, customers...so we did it again making these sets coordinating!

If you don't already own our Connected Circles Dies, don't worry! There are plenty of them in stock so you can take home both today. BUT, if you're eyeing the stamps - don't worry there are a million uses for them on their own and easily punch out with a 1 in. circle punch or even with our Stitched Circles! I  am totes in love with this stamp set and I think if you check it out you will realize what a must have this is!

Have a look at some projects I've made with our new Spot On Stamp Set...

I just love how this card turned out. I'm obsessed with every single spot in the set from the zig zags to the scallops. It's AMAZING!!! And this was very easy to make1 I just stamped the spots over and over in some coordinating colors and punched them out with my 1 in. circle die. Then I stamped my sentiment on a scrap and trimmed it. Viola!

Here I used our Connected Circle Die! I stamped the zigzag pattern several times in grey ink but then the hb2u word spot in bright pink in and coordinated it with the celebrate sentiment! I love love love the slightly over sized sentiments in this set. I also used our Pieced Chevron Die here but cut it from vellum to create a softer, subtle look.

Here again are a couple of projects I've already posted this week featuring the Spot On Stamp Set....

Ok, so before I send you on your way I will remind you that we are giving away 2 $10 store credits. I'll be picking the winners from our secret prize blog so the more blogs you comment on the better!

We'll be back for one more day tomorrow for Group Post Day. Off you go to Alicia Thelin's fabby blog! See you tomorrow.

Release Hop Day Two!

Hi there! So happy to have you back for day 2 of our New Release Hop!

This has been such a fun hop already so far. It sounds like you are really loving everything you see! Thanks so much. Before I get to the nitty gritty...I forgot to mention yesterday that beginning Saturday, June 22nd through Sunday, June 30th I will be away on vacation and orders placed during that time will be fulfilled after I return the following week. This week, I am planning to get every order placed through Thursday out in Friday's mail. Thanks for understanding!

Ok, so let's get back to it!

I'd like to recap the products we're releasing this week :) They're fab so let's have another look!

Our Fanfare Scalloped Border Die is so unique and truly pretty. It looks great alone on a card or gorgeous with multiple layers which just happen to fit together perfectly. I like that you can opt to poke out the inner pieces for an open die or keep them in place for a totally different look! Check out the product page HERE for some lovely samples using this die.

A fabby stamp set created to perfectly coordinate with our Connected Circles Die (previously released). It contains really cool and trendy circle stamps and word circle stamps. Each word circle has a coordinating, over sized sentiment in a font that you went crazy for in our previously released Darling Diamonds Set so we did it again! Now all three of these products coordinate! These stamps are beautiful on their own but are even more fun when stamped on our Connected Circles Die. Love the sayings! See the product page HERE for great samples using this set!

Here are a couple of projects I made to show you just how awesome these are! Do you make a lot of tags? I do! And I always feel like they NEVER get turned over by the recipient to see what I wrote. Now they don't have to turn them over! These guys just beg to be opened!

I brought a friend of mine a plant for hosting a BBQ on Memorial Day and of course I had to add a tag with a thank you note inside! I tied a ribbon around the plant and then tied the tag to the ribbon. Here's a closer look...

This is the Folding Tag Die - Original and I used the diamond pieces from my Pieced Chevron Die to create this little flower. The sentiment is from our Sentiment Flag Additions Stamp Set (currently on sale for only $15) and you can see on the bottom I added some scoring. This looked so nice going to the BBQ for my friend! I kind wanted to keep it, LOL!

Here is a tag I made with our Folding Tag Die - Scallops. I die cut this tag from patterned paper and embellished the front with our Mini Pinwheel Die and added my sentiment to a Stitched Circle. The sentiment is from our Coffee Cozy set. I don't know who this will go to but I might have a hard time parting with it because it is soooo purty in person! I love it!

Here's another tag made with the Scallops version of our Folding Tag Die. This time I combined bright green card stock and patterned paper. It's easy to do. I made two cuts and just cut the patterned one at the perforated line and glued it to the inside. I like the little pattern peeking out. I stamped the front flap with the woodgrain spot from our new Spot On Set and added my gift card to the inside with a glue dot to hold it in place. I'm holding the entire tag closed with the twine I wrapped around it. As you can see this went to Dad! I die cut our Dad Word Die from white card stock and clipped it to the twine with a mini clothespin. Love this!!!

I have one more tag for you! This one is made using the Folding Tag Die - Original. Once again, I used pieces from my Pieced Chevron Die - the triangles! I just stacked them and added a sentiment stamped on a vellum scrap. The sentiment is from our Rainbows & Clouds Sentiment Stamp Set.

I have to say, this is really a great batch of goodies and judging from your comments and orders you think so too. Thanks!!

Ok, so before I send you on your way I will remind you that we are giving away 2 $10 store credits. I'll be picking the winners from our secret prize blog so the more blogs you comment on the better! And thank you for taking the time to comment. It really is fabulous to read your feedback!

Ok, so I am going to send you on your way! Amber Kemp-Gerstel, Rockstar Stamper and Crafter Extraordinaire of Damask Love is joining us as our Guest Designer today and Thursday. I'm soooo excited to see what she's whipped up for us today!

Enjoy the rest of our hop and thank you for joining us again today. We'll see you tomorrow as we focus on our new Fanfare Scalloped Border Die and Spot On Stamp Set!

Also, just a note......our designer Amy Kolling is a contestant in Paper Crafts Magazine's Gallery Idol Competition. Head on over to check out her gorgeous project HERE and VOTE to keep her in the running in the hopes to become America's next Gallery Idol!
