Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Hi there! I'm here to share a little something I made for the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I happen to LOVE  am OBSESSED WITH COFFEE and today is National Coffee Day so grab a cuppa and get hopin' because there are a bunch of great prizes you can win! Thank you to Chaitali, our coordinator and organizer for this event. I am so excited to be included!!

I was so excited to be able to sit down and create with an oldie but goodie set from the Lil' Inker Designs' collection WHICH happens to also be the prize that our store will be giving away as a prize for this hop; our Coffee Cozy Die & Stamp Set - that's a prize value of $32.50! Woooo hoooo!!

Here's what I made for this challenge.

Here I used a fun and my favorite new paper pad from American Crafts which I picked up at Target in Kansas when I was visiting last weekend. I die cut my coffee cup from patterned paper and my lid from white which I stamped with kraft ink. My sentiment, "I like you more than coffee"  was stamped in Strawberry Slush ink from SU onto a Pinking Edge Sentiment Flag die cut. My ribbon is also from SU. Washi tapes are from My Mind's Eye and the arrow paper clip is from Freckled Fawn. I love the way this turned out. It's such a fun and happy greeting for a friend.
I hope you like it!!

Here are some great projects made by our team using our Coffee Cozy set:

Thanks and have a great day!

Make a Shaker!

Hey guys, Erin here! I have been wanting to make a shaker card for a while now, they are so super fun. AND what's even cooler is Lil' Inker Designs carries everything you need to make one! Here is my card:
The Stitched Mats: Circles Dies are perfect to create your shaker.
All you need to do is run one size (the bigger of your choice) through your die cut machine, and then run the smaller size down to create an outline circle. You can use the bigger single circle die cut for your bottom base as well as the acetate layer! I used the 2nd and 3rd from the smallest circles. You will also need a top circle outline that covers up all the lower layers. I used patterned paper here.

For the sequins inside, the Scattered Sequins Die is perfect for your little bits and pieces! I used every single sequin from just one pass through my die cut machine.
Next, I needed a sentiment. I wanted to really focus on the shaker, so I die cut this Smile Word Die to layer on top of the shaker.
To create a little extra detail and finish off the card, I used Stitched Mats: Rectangles Dies to tie it all together.
And voila! You have one cute little shaker card.

Thanks for stopping by today!
