Flashback Friday!

It's Flashback Friday!!!!!

Each month a member of our Design Team will be stopping by with a Flashback Friday post and will share a project using a previously released stamp or die as the focus of the post - a bit of an oldie but goodie if you will, and in true Lil' Inker Designs style the item featured will also be on sale for a limited time! Waaaa-hoooooooo!!!!

Today, it's me, Chrissy and I'm ready to share my creation with you.

I decided to mix a little old with new for my card this week and the main focus of my card is the amazing Seasonal Stars Die Set.

These dies as SO useful!  They make great elements to add to cards, scrapbook pages, tags, etc.  These are totally not only for Christmas even though I used them on a Christmas card this time around.  It just seemed right following the amazing October release and the fact that I'm trying to get all my Christmas cards done for the year.

Here's a look at how I used the Seasonal Stars Die Set.

I started this card with some white wood grain card stock for the base but I wanted a little something to break up all the white so I topped the card with a silvery pearlized paper cut with the Stitched Mats: Side-Stitched Rectangles and then cut off at an angle.  Then I got to work cutting Seasonal Stars Die Set from various coordinating patterned papers and glitter.  I layered the stars along the diagonal cut before cutting the new Merry Christmas Word Die from Mirrored Reflective Specialty Paper and using foam tape to attach it to the card front.  I love the clean and simple yet elegant look the Seasonal Stars Die Set add to this card.  I hope you like it!

Here is a look back at projects made by our Design Team using our Seasonal Stars Dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed today's Flashback Friday Post and are filled with inspiration!

Don't forget to shop with Lil' Inker Designs and for a limited time (through Wednesday, November 23rd EST) get this die set at an additional 10% off it's already reduced price!!! Yesss!!!!!!

ENJOY and see you soooon!!!

NEW! You Made It Monday Vol. 30 PLUS PRIZES!!!

Good morning!  We are BACK with our You Made It Monday POSTS!!! Are you psyched????

We are moving to a monthly feature AND HAVE ADDED PRIZES!!!  That's right! If you're featured in our You Made It Monday post you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs! Isn't that awesome??

Are you ready for some new and amazing projects created by you?  You know how much we love seeing what you create with the amazing products in the Lil' Inker Designs store.  You never cease to amaze us with your talent and creativity.

I'm starting to see all sorts of amazing Christmas creations and I couldn't resist sharing them.  First up, these cards by Emily at Sixth Street Sundries are amazing!

I love how Emily embossed the Oh Deer Christmas Stamps image in gold glitter rather than the typical black.

It gives the image a totally different look once color is added.  Talk about adding color, Emily's watercoloring is spot on.  I love her use of darks and lights to give such great dimension and it really makes the image pop.  All together, she created some very elegant cards.  Make sure to check out Emily's blog to see some great close up images and if you love the Oh Deer Christmas Stamps, you'll want to check out the newly released, 'Tis the Season Stamps too!

Next up, a beautiful tag I found on Instagram by Deb Hopson, @heartspeakpaperarts.

This tag will dress up any package!  I love how Deb used two cuts of the Holly Jolly Dies tree to layer and create dimension.  I also love how the ornaments just finish off the tree so perfectly and the embossed tag is a great touch.  Thanks so much for sharing this with us, Deb!

Another awesome Instagram find, is this card by Mel, @myheartsandcrafts.

Who doesn't love the new Moody Santa Stamps and Moody Santa Die?  Well, Mel, created this super fun and snarky Santa card.  I love how she colored our Santa in nontraditional colors.  He's super fun and definitely the star of this card!  Love it, Mel

I pretty much stood up and did a slow clap when I saw this card from Natty H, @natty_h1978 because I love it just that much!!! LOL!!

Talk about the perfect card to show off this sentiment from All the Christmas You'll Ever Need 2.  Natty's little felt elf hat is TOO cute!  You must visit her blog, Kool Kitty Musings, to hear how she created it.  Brilliant!  Layered on a panel accented with our Silly Stitched Die Set, it's just too awesome not to show off.  Brillant, Natty!

Our final two creations come from @yumi_b2108!

Both of the projects by @yumi_b2108 use the new Rustic Christmas Stamps and Rustic Christmas Dies.  Two totally different looks but the same stamps.  Can't beat that for versatility.  I love the coloring on her bears and the trees as a backdrop on the tags are wonderful.  Thanks so much for showing off these products, @yumi_b2108. I am so so very impressed!!!!

We hope you enjoyed this small glimpse of the amazing creations you guys are sharing using Lil’ Inker Designs products.  I can’t wait to see what else I discover in the weeks to come.  As I mentioned above.  We are changing things up a little by making this a monthly post rather than a weekly post.  So, you can expect to see You Made It Mondays on the first Monday of each month, unless it's a new release day, then we'll bump it to the next Monday.  So, from here on out, I'll see you on the first Monday of each and every month.  How fun is that?

We’d also like to streamline the way we share our creations to make it easier to find what you've created.  So, we are going to ask that you use the hashtag #lilinkerdesigns to your projects in order to find your beautiful projects and quickly too!  I'll still be keeping an eye out as I roam the internet but this will make things a little easier especially when you hear the next change. This hashtag should be used on Facebook as well as Instagram and even Pinterest will allow a hashtag as well.

We want to make sure you know how much we appreciate you sharing your creations with us and others so, I will be awarding the 5 featured You Made It Monday participants each month with a $10 Lil' Inker Designs Gift Certificate! I'm so excited about this! You also get to proudly display our special blog badge showing that you were picked as a feature!

If you're featured here in a You Made It Monday Post then you are a WINNER!!!!

TO claim your prize, email me at lilinkerdesigns@gmail.com with subject line You Made It Monday Winner and add the "Volume" number as listed in the title of our blog post. So these winners will write in the subject line:

You Made It Monday Vol. 30 Prize Winner

Here once again is a simplified summary of our You Made It Monday changes:

  • You Made It Monday posts are moving to the first Monday of each month unless it's a new release day and then we'll post the following Monday.
  • Use (hashtag) #lilinkerdesigns so we can find you on social media and the internet
  • 5 people will be featured each month
  • Get featured win a $10 store credit to Lil' Inker Designs - yahoooooo!!!!!

We hope you are as excited as we are for these changes and we can't wait to share more of your amazing creations!

We loved your work this week and we're so happy to see it!

See you soon and happy crafting!!!!

25 Days of Christmas Tags & Lil' Inker Designs

It's time for.....
and today it's....

Lil' Inker Designs' turn!!!!!

Hi there! I'm Laura and I'm the owner here at Lil' Inker Designs and I'm stopping by to share 4 tags I made for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Hop. Thank you so much to Tracey McNeely for including us in this exciting and creative event. I couldn't possibly love making gift tags more and I'm even more excited to have a prize for one lucky person as well!! Read on for more info!

My first tag was so easy to make using our All the Christmas You'll Ever Need Stamps and Oh My Ornaments Dies and just a little help from our Ornamental Christmas Stamps. I stamped and heat embossed my sentiment in white on watercolor paper and then made a night sky with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended out my ink with an aqua brush. Once dried I die cut with my ornament die and added my embellishments and then made a to/from part that I stamped and added on.  Isn't this the cutest ornament shape? I love these and all of the sentiments from the All the Christmas You'll Ever Needs Stamps fit inside! YES!

Here I die cut the the largest die from our Anytime Tags Die Set from watercolor paper (and by the way this is the best ever watercolor paper for these markers) and I did a little painting with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and blended out my ink with an aqua brush to create a soft background. Featured here are our Jingle Bell Dies (two largest) and the third, smallest is from our Christmas Bits Dies. The sentiment is from our amazing Rustic Christmas Stamps.  Love love love our Jingle Bell Dies!!

Here I diecut a red tag using the largest die in the Anytime Tags die set. Then, I cut a focal square using the Stitched Mats: Squares Dies which I then die cut again with our Snowflakes Dies using the negative left behind. I made this into a shaker and then stamped a sentiment from our Holly Jolly Stamps onto the focal panel. A little bit of twine finished this off nicely.

This tag was a little bit more work than the others which were all pretty simple to make. Here I used our Rustic Christmas Stamps, specifically, the pine branch stamp from that set, which I repeated into a wreath shape. I saw a customer, @yumi_b2108, do this on Instagram and I was so inspired. I did change the method a little and did some shadow stamping instead of watercoloring. Then, I used one of the berry stamps from our Oh Deer Christmas Stamps to add perfect, red berries. Also featured here are our Warm Welcome Dies, Welcome Word Die and Jolly & Joyful Stamps. Oh, and I can't forget our Gift Bow Topper Die which I added so this could be hung as an ornament.

I hope you love the tags I made to share with you today and I hope you'll stop by and check out
Lil' Inker Designs and shop with us.

We're giving away a $35 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs to one lucky winner!

RUN don't walk back to Tracey McNeely's Blog HERE to read more about the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Hop and how you can win all sorts of FABULOUS prizes and be inspired to create.  Make sure to comment and leave feedback for both Tracey and the Lil' Inker Designs Team along your way today. You are also invited to play along and make your own tags and link them up. Again, all information is available on Tracey's blog above.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Release Re-Cap and Entire Release Winner Announced!

Hi there, everyone!!!!!!

I'm here today to re-cap our awesome October release AND announce the winner of THE ENTIRE RELEASE, a prize worth over $135!!! HOLY MOLY!!!

Let's have a look at all the pretty, pretty things made by our Designers for this release and then RUN don't walk to your craft room with all that inspiration you're going to soak up and get CRAFTING!!!!!!

Wow, there are so many things here that are just so amazing and inspiring. It's a good thing my craft room has been reorganized after this batch of crafting and is ready for its next mess!!!

Speaking of making a crafty mess.....Lil' Inker Designs has a couple of excellent posts coming up within the next few weeks so be sure you're subscribed and stopping by to stay on top of everything we have cooking here!!

Ok, so now....let's get down to brass tax, the meat and potatoes, the whole enchilada!!!!!!!

We upped the ante with the prize for this release and decided it would be awesome to give the ENTIRE RELEASE away to one lucky winner.

***Something Important To Note***
The requirements for winning this prize were as follows:
comments had to be left by 10/30/2016 by 11:30 PM EST to be eligible to win, and
the comments had to be left for each designer's blog for each of our three blog hop days.

Well, guess what? It was almost impossible for me to not only choose but then FIND someone who left a comment on all 36 of these posts. SO, I made an executive decision to alter the way in which I picked the winner.

I chose a DT blog at random to pick the winner from and the store blog was chosen. Then, I picked a release post at random and the Day 3 post was chosen. The Day 3 post has 36 comments but only 35 of them were eligible. From these 35 posts I picked a commenter until I found someone who left posts on ALL THREE of the store blog's release hop posts. I went through FIVE different numbers until I landed at

LUCKY COMMENT #24............

On the Day 3 post, the 24th comment was left by KIRSTY VITTETOE!!!!!! And once I was able to confirm that Kirsty left a comment on each of my three new release posts I deemed her the winner of........OUR ENTIRE OCTOBER RELEASE!!!!!!!

Congratulations, KIRSTY!!!!!!!!! Here is a look at everything you've won....

This is a prize package of over $135!!!!!!!!!!

Now, a little "fine print", Kirsty has 10 days (from the date of this post) to claim this prize and if it goes unclaimed we'll pick another winner in the exact same method as described above. If you know Kirsty please feel free to get in touch with her and let her know she's one lucky crafter!!!!

Kirsty to claim your prize, please email me at lilinkerdesigns@gmail.com with subject line October Release Prize Winner and include your shipping address so that we can mail this out to you.

CONGRATS AGAIN!!!!!!

Thank you to everyone who left love for our Design Team Members and remember to visit OUR STORE to pick up your favorites from this new release.

Thank you and we'll be seeing you very very soon with lots more new products and inspiring posts!
