January Release Hop Day 3

Hellloooooo crafty friends!!!!

It's day 3 of our January Release Blog Hop. Are you enjoying it? I am!!!

Being that it's day 3, today is the day that I share the photos of everything new in the store this week and then I'll share some new projects. If today is your first day stopping by to see what's new in store make sure to go back and read my day 1 and day 2 posts  because I go into a lot of detail about what our new products can do and how they function.

Ok , so here we go. Here's everything new and exciting in the store this week created especially for Valentine's Day, but really can do so so much:

Here are a couple of things that I made to share with you today.

First up and in the middle photo, I quickly and easily dressed up a chocolate lollipop with our Dual Dotted Hearts Dies, Valentine Word Tags Dies where I kept the tag loop and tied on some twine and added a Small Bow Die made using our new Love You Paper Pack which by the way is phenomenal!

So, this week was my sister-in-law's 30th birthday (lucky girl). I made this card for her. I hope she loves it. Here I used our new and improved Coffee Cozy Stamps and Dies. Aren't they so cute? I also used the largest circle in our Silly Stitched Die set and I fussy cut it by hand so that I could use it to back my focal image. This was easy to do because the edge of the die gave me a guideline on where to cut. I like that it's all wonky! Love that steam swirl fussy cut as well! Also featured here is our Mixed and Stitched Number Die Set.

Here I chose to show off our new Love You Greeting Die and instead of cutting it on my card base I first cut a panel using the second largest rectangle die in our Silly Stitched Die Set and THEN I made a cut using the Love You Greeting Die. It's hard to tell unfortunately but I heat embossed the sentiment in the center in silver and it's sooooooooo pretty and it was super easy too. Then I tied off the focal panel with black twine and added it over a card base I covered with one of the gorgeou papers in our Love You Paper Pack.

I wanted to show you how the circles in our Silly Stitched Die can be used to make a cool background. I love this card!!!! It was so so simple. I sponged on some darker pink ink on the bottom to give my base some dimension and added some sequins.

Last but not least I covered a card base with a pattern from our Love You Paper Pack. On top I layered a white base cut with the second largest die in our Silly Stitched Die Set. I also worked with the bear in our Love Friends Stamps which I cut with the coordinating dies. My sentiment was cut using the Valentine Word Dies. I snipped off the tag loop and stacked several cuts together for dimension. This turn out so sweetly.

Here's one last look at the other projects I made to share with you this week.

January Release Hop Day 2

Helloooo there, friends! How are you? Did you enjoy our Day 1 post?

It's Day 2 and I'd like to share more projects for you but before I do let's have another look at all the items we're releasing and showcasing this week.

These dies are super pretty and if you love hearts as much as I do they are a must have for your collection especially if you have our Stitched Hearts Dies and Floating Hearts Dies. All the shapes are the same and can coordinate and be mixed and matched. This really stretches the possible use of these dies and I think that's such a value.

I'm obsessed with these stamps. They so so fun and sweet and even more important, easy to color! We gave every animal its own sentiment and then a lot of them can be easily mixed and matched.

Of course we had to give you a set of dies to cut out your new Lovie Friends Stamps! They are such a time saver! They are hollow in the center for easy die to stamp alignment. While not needed, I recommend coloring first then lining up your die to your stamp and securing with a piece of washi or masking tape to hold everything in place while cutting.

This die set has been a long time in the making. These wandering, uneven stitches are supposed to mimic those of a real sewing machine that us paper crafters so painstaking created on our cards not so long ago. Now you have a die set that add that look with ease! It's important to know that the largest die in this set cuts only the stitching border. We do this for a couple of reason but mainly because it's a paper saver! If you pre-make a card base you're able to add stitching right to this card base. If this die had a rectangle then you'd have to make a card base and then add a panel over the front! This die also allows you to create a one layer card. The second die in the set does cut a rectangle featuring our silly stitched border. It's the perfect focal panel size for a card front. Then, in the center of this set you have three circles dies that only cut our stitched border. This allows you to use these as frames to highlight sentiments or small images and more. They even let you create a pattern on your card front. You will love experimenting with this die set!

I'm really loving this tag set because it's so versatile. I love that you can use the tags on cards and tie on a little twine. I love that you can tie them onto a quick gift to make something look so extra special. I love that you can trim off the tag hanger and just use these as word dies. LOVE!!!

It was just a no brainer bringing you this die. It is quite simply the easiest way to hand make a card and make it look so elegant in seconds. We know you love this die series. What sentiment would you like to see us do next? What are you craving to have in your collection?

Ok, these papers are the BOMB!!!!!! Trust me, buy them. Take a look and if you aren't immediately psyched you have them you can easily return them. There are some ombre pages, some fading and distressing among the designs. There's some lovely text included here along with some fantastic patterns. OMGSH! They are so so pretty!

This is a new take on one of our originally released stamp sets and it just needed a little facelift. We've modernized it and made the sentiments a little larger and improved upon some of the sayings. I think you'll love this new version not only with your Pinwheel Dies but with so many of our other stamps and dies combined together.

Another facelift! We took the best of our Rainbows & Clouds Sentiments and Sunshine Sentiments Original Set and made this one, newly redesigned set. The font is really awesome to stamp with because it's on the bolder side so the color you stamp with really POPS! It's filled with great sayings too which are useful for so many different reasons. This is a great set for your collection!

Ok, so this one got more than a little lift. We completely remade this stamp set from it's original. It was time. The original stamp set did well and we still love it but it was time to breathe new life into this fun set. The sentiments have been changed; added to and some completely new and we've added in new elements like the stitched steam swirl. You will love this set!

We decided to also give you a new and improved Coffee Cozy Die Set. The original was great but I just wanted to improve upon it for you. So we've given you a newly sized lid with scoring detail as well as a new cozy die with stitching and I just couldn't resist the stitched steam swirl. I'm loving this!!

Ok, how about some projects? I decided to use our new Lovie Friends Stamps and Dies to make some cute tags.

Here I also used our Dual Dotted Hearts Dies to show you how they pair so nicely. I've also used our Anytime Tags Dies Original and #2. LOVE! These were super fun and easy to make and I enjoyed coloring them so much. Aos featured in these projects are our Hearts Banner Dies and Circles Banner Dies and Love Things Stamps.

Ok, before I let you hop on - just a little reminder to tip your waiters. LOL! No, seriously - we love your comments and feedback and we appreciate every single one. So please be sure and leave some love along the way for our designers who work so hard to show off our store's stamps and dies.

For doing just that by Sunday January 31st at 11:30 PM EST you will be eligible to win one of three $15 gift certificates to Lil' Inker Designs! YAY!!

Here is a list of everyone participating in today's hop:

Thank you so so very much and we'll see you tomorrow for the last and final day of our January New Release Hop! I hope you're enjoying everything so far!

January New Release Day 1

Hieeeeeee!!! Oh MY GOSH! Have you ever had one of those days when you are just off a day? Well, long story short our release was dated to go live yesterday and I just had it in my head that go live day was Thursday. So, low and behold here we are and I'm excited to jump right in and show you everything we have for you with this release.

Let's get right to everything we have. :)

First up is a gorgeous new trio of hearts dies featuring our Dual Dotted detail which we've all grown to be so fond of! The neat thing about these dies is that the shape mimics that of our previously released Stitched Hearts Die Set so that these can be mixed and matched.

Ahhhhh! This die is fashioned just like our Merry & Bright Holiday Greeting Die BUT this one is almost better because it can be used for even more occasions! The best way to use this die, in my opinion, is to pre-make an A2 card base (cut and score). Then, lay your die on your open card front and cut and left after cutting is a perfect greeting build right into your card front surrounded by a pretty stitched square border! This has to be the easiest way to make a greeting card that doesn't look like it took a minute to make. I love that!!!! If you have a tendency to be a lazy crafter like I AM (sometimes) then this die is for you!!

I love discovering new and talented artists! How cute are these animals?? I love them so much! They are the perfect size for coloring too especially for non-expert colorers like myself. The spaces are on the smaller side so it's easy to fake it till you make it! LOL! However,  I think even the most expert colorer will enjoy these as well. Even better, they look great in black and white so you've got lots of options here. I hope you like the sentiments I've designed for you. I wanted to go with a simple, cute but clean looking font and I gave each animal his own sentiment or one that pairs best with that animal and yet there are still so many that you can mix and match. If you have the budget for one Valentine's Stamp Set this year this is your set! It's perfect for any recipient and cute enough for classroom valentine's too - except maybe for giraffe's saying. That one's 18+ and happens to be my favorite as well! HA!

Well, we just had to give you a die set to cut out these cuties! So, here it is! And it's a great value and an enormous time saver! Definitely pick this one up if you're grabbing the Lovie Friends Stamps!

The holiday version of this die set was so incredibly popular we've brought it to you for Valentine's Day and I loooooove it!!!! I really love that if you need a quick gift card that these dies can achieve that so very quickly. I also love that if you just want to use these as word dies you totally can and just by snipping off the little hang tag. However, that being said, keeping the tag on and using these as word dies in your crafting can be really cool because it's a perfect spot to add some twine as an embellishment. Love love LOVE the options with these dies and you will too!

Ok, little back story about these dies. I made a card last year and I scored a border many times around and around the edges and it immediately inspired me to make a die set. This one was SUPER tricky to design and literally in the middle of designing this set I received an email from the person I was working with who said, "Laura, if a company just today released a product similar to something we are currently in the process of designing would you want to move forward with your design?" and I thought about what we were working on and I knew INSTANTLY to which design she was referring and I answered by saying that this is a concept that came completely of my own inspiration and therefore I feel 100% confident in moving forward with our idea and concept and I'm so SO very glad we did because now we've got this FAB FAB die set for you. Let me tell you more about it.

Ok, so die set features our Silly Stitched Border which is a border of stitching that is off kilter or sort of wanders around the card edge. It is meant to mimic real sewing machine stitching that we paper crafters so painstakingly created with our sewing machines. Now you have a die set that will help you achieve that look of reach machine stitching on your card fronts!! YAY!!!!

Now let me tell you a little bit about how this set functions. The largest die in this set is an exact A2 size and cuts only the silly stitched border. The next die cuts a rectangle focal panel featuring this stitching detail and is the perfect size to add to a card front. Next up and totally unique to this set are three circle dies all featuring our silly stitched border! However, each of these dies cuts ONLY the stitching. These dies are designed to be used together to add interesting patterns to your card fronts or individually to call attention to important details on your card panels like a sentiment or embellishments.

This really is such a fun and creative die set and one I know you will be THRILLED to own and play with!!!

Ok, these paper are INSANELY gorgeous. These little snippets just don't do these papers justice.  This set features 12 sheets with rich berry and corals and red and neutrals. Some feature text, patterns and some are solid ombre. There are also patterns that lend themselves to everyday crafting. Trust me - you need these papers in your life. This pack of loose papers are a 6x6 size and perfect for card making. They arrive in a plastic, resealable bag that is great for storing and scraps. LOVE!

That is everything "new" that's in store for this release and I'm very excited about everything we have for you. We are also, as a team, going to be showcasing our new and improved Coffee Cozy Stamps and Dies as well as our Pinwheel Sentiments Stamps and Sunshine Sentiments Stamps because these are all so lovely but we haven't yet featured them as a team so here we go!

Ok, before I let you go and hop would you like to see some projects I made with our new goodies?

First up is the little home decor piece I made. I used our Valentine's Word Tags to create an intricate background. I just cut many of them from white paper, snipped of the tag parts and adhered them to another white piece of paper. My hearts were made so long ago. I've probably had these made for 15 years or more. I made them using Sculpy clay and a cookie cutter. I used to make them, glaze them and add pin backs and sell them in a handmade store a wicked long time ago. Here I've arranged them in two rows and then used a sentiment from our new Lovie Friends Stamp Set which I heat embossed in white on black paper. My frame was done in a chalkboard style by painting black. Once dried I applied from chalk and rubbed in.  My mom LOVES Valentine's Day and the decor that goes along with it so I think she'll love having this to display. It came out kind of cute!

Here I've used our Lovie Friends Stamps and Dies together with our refreshed Pinwheel Sentiment Stamps. I thought this sentiment was perfect for Mr. Raccoon. I tried to make it look like he was blowing or floating away. Also featured here are our Border Builder Dies and Cut It Out Clouds & Accessories Dies. I did a little sponging on the bottom of this card to make it appear shaded as though my little guy was rising through the sky. Oh, and the little heart was added from our Floating Hearts Die.

Here I've featured our Lovie Friends Stamps and Dies with our Sunshine Sentiment Stamps and our Silly Stitched Die Set. You'll see here that I used the largest rectangle die and the largest circle die together to create an interesting border and an automatic spot in which to feature my focal pieces. I love the width of the font in the Sunshine Sentiment Stamps. They stamp so beautifully. This little lion was so fun to color and I'm not lion'! LOL! Don't you just love this combo of Silly Stitched dies together? ME TOO!!!

I have lots more to share but I'm going to leave it there for now and send you on your way!
