June Release Bonanza Day 3

Helloooooooo there!!! How is everyone today? Thank you for joining us for the third and final day of our new release blog hop. Rest assured, our sale continues through Sunday, June 18th. We'll get to that in a minute. First, let's review all of the items we released in the store this week and I have two more new projects to share with you.

Would you like to see my projects??

First up is my project using the Lovely and Sweet Stamps. I started by blending out a soft background and then I heat embossed my sentiment over top in white and added some sparkles. I used my Mini MISTI with this set and it was the perfect tool to get great alignment! Then, I played with texture paste for the very first time. I used my Diamond Chevron Die as a stencil and when the paste was dry I added some color. SO FUN!!

Last but not least I got a chance to play with our I'll Be Brief goodies as well as our new Hi Word Die. Isn't this fun? I wanted to be sure that I showed you how easily this set can be feminine by using pink tones and adding a bow to the bear's head. Cute, right? My main, outer frame was made with my Silly Stitched Dies and my Hi Word Die was cut from light pink paper and sponged with warm pink ink for an ombré effect.

This has been an absolutely marvelous release albeit a bittersweet one being that it's Stephanie Gold's last. Here is a look back at some of Steph's awesome work while part of our team.

June Release Bonanza Day 2

Our new Blossoms & Banners Stamps and really lovely. The offer pretty flowers and a place to stamp a sentiment or greeting all in one stamp! These are super easy to colors which is why I love them so much!

Of course, we've given you a Blossoms & Banners Die Set so that everything can be cut out easily and perfectly every time!

Our new Hi Word Die is a simple but useful little greeting die. I especially love that this can be used as a shaker.

 I'll Be Brief Stamps  are super cute and funny! We're featuring three animals in their briefs and sentiments to coordinate which are simple, to the point....brief!

Of course, we've given you a coordinating I'll Be Brief Die Set so that each of the images is perfectly cut out. You'll notice that there is only one underwear die and that's because each of the men's and women's drawers will cut out with the same die.

Our new Jar of Flowers Stamps is definitely a pretty one. I have thoroughly enjoy stamping these pretty flowers and bringing the cute little jar to like with the accent and shadow stamps we've included in the set.

Of course, we've given you a Jar of Flowers Die Set so that all of your coordinating stamp elements can be perfectly cut out every time!

Lovely & Sweet Stamps are among some of my favorites from this release.  I really love this great, big focal greeting, but I love it even more because I can customize what it says. For example, I can stamp all three of the main pieces in the set for a greeting that reads "You are lovely and sweet" or I can shorten it and have it read "You are sweet". There are lots of combinations and possibilities here. You'll also enjoy the little extras we included to really make your greeting unique.

Quilted Stitched Basket Weave is the perfect new addition to our Quilted Stitched Collection. It cuts these alternating hash marks into your card fronts and it's the perfect way to add texture and visual interest to all your cards in the easiest way possible.

Whoops Word Die!!! The perfect little word die for so many occasions! You definitely need this one in your collection! 

This new Whoops Stamp Set really comes to life with the coordinating word die and is perfect for having to send an apology card or if by chance you missed a friend's birthday. Love this!!!

Last but not least is our Cover Up Die: Diamond Chevron which is perfect to add a cool and maybe even masculine texture to cards easily. It's also neat because you can use the pieces that cut away for different projects as well. Experiment and fall in love!!!

How about some projects for today?

I love this project. I hope you do too. I started by watercoloring a purple base and when dry I stamped with the heart from the Jar of Flowers Stamps and heat embossed them in gold. Then, I used my Blossoms & Banners Stamps and Dies and did the rest. Here I used the coordinating die and cut the same banner from foam tape and popped this up a bit on my base.  This card is going to my mom who just retired.

Here is another, similar card but done in a smaller size and with a different image and sentiment from the set. Loving these stamps!!!

Here I've used a whole bunch of goodies including our new Whoops Word Die and Whoops Stamps as well as our new Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Die which is simply phenomenal looking, right?
I started by making a peach card base which I die cut with the Quilted Stitched Basket Weave Die. Then, on a separate panel I made my own patterned paper which I stamped with one of the small elements from the Lovely and Sweet Stamps. Then, I stamped and die cut a bunch of flowers from the Jar of Flowers Stamps and cut this panel with my Fringe Scalloped Border Builders Dies. What do you think? I kinda love this! I hope you do too!!
