June Release Blog Hop Day 3

Hello! I'm here to wrap up our June New Release with one last post.

Be sure to keep reading so that you can learn how to WIN the entire release for FREE!!

Also, be sure to visit my Day 1 and Day 2 posts because they contain lots of information and tips about our new items!

Here is a look at everything that is new in store this week.

Here is my final project for our new release featuring more of the amazing new products.

I had a blast making this super cute birthday cake shaped card. I stamped my pink cardstock (4" x 3.5") with images from the Cake Party stamp set and rounded the top corners to create my cake. For frosting, I added a bit of yellow cut with the Stitched Scallop Border Die. I planned to trim this even with the sides but loved how it looked like frosting swirls so I left it alone. I created the candles with negative space cut from our retired Cover Up Die: Stitches and Stripes and topped them with a star flame created with another retired product, Starry Sky Die. The sentiment was easy for this because we have the new and awesome, Happy Birthday To You Word Die. I couldn't stop the fun there so I embossed a party animal and his hat from Cake Party in white and cut him with the Cake Party Dies before attaching him with a little action wobbler for a little spring in his step!. Ta da!

June Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome back to Day 2 of our June New Release Blog Hop!!

I hope that you enjoyed yesterday's Day 1 post and project! Today, I'm back with more!

Let's have another look at the items that are new in store this week.

Please keep in kind that our products are being photographed at an angle to help prevent intellectual property and design theft. Thank you for understanding that this is a necessary measure in an attempt to protect my small, kitchen table business.

First up is a new stamp set called Cake Party. I wanted a set of animals who looked like they were jumping for joy and this set totally captures that! These little guys are ready to celebrate any birthday or happy occasion! I've also included some party accessories that these guys can hold or wear and there's a great little birthday cake included as well as some simple greetings. Everything you see is entirely illustrated by hand and by purchasing this set you're supporting THREE women-owned small, kitchen table businesses; mine, my illustrator's and the hand lettering artist's!

Of course, I had to design you a set of coordinating Cake Party Dies. They will cut out the images in the set with precision and ease!

Next up, we have this great big Happy Birthday To You Word Die. It's perfectly oversized for card making and done in a beautiful script font. I love that it can be combined with the supplies above but also with any stamps in your collection from ANY company!

My personal favorites from this release are up next - Time for Tea Stamps and Dies. After all the coffee-themed items I've released over the years, it REALLY WAS time for tea!!!

All of the above stamps will stamp to fit onto the Time for Tea teacup. We also included stamps with smaller greetings especially for the tea bag in the die set. There are some great sayings as well as some decorative stamps for your teacup. LOVE

More of a coffee fan? I see no reason why this can't also be a cup of coffee! Perhaps you'd like it to coordinate with our Coffee Talk 2 Stamp Set? It definitely does!

Hand Drawn Thankfulness is entirely drawn by hand by my illustrator. I just love the whimsical style of her handwriting and this is the second time we've done a set like this together. Our original set is still a popular seller today. It's called Hand Drawn Happiness and has more of a birthday and general occasion theme.

Unfortunately, sometimes mistakes happen. They happen to all of us, right? Well, there is a little boo-boo in the above stamp set that got by my illustrator, myself AND our manufacturer -ALL the fail-safes. Rest assured that when your set arrives it will contain an extra stamp with proper spelling. It happens to the best of us!

Did you know that this set will stamp PERFECTLY on our Shaker Tag Die Set

Well, it does and you will love the versatility of using these stamps and dies together or on card fronts. Did I mention that your Shaker Tag Set comes free with a Super Word Die? It dies and it's an excellent value!!!!

Last, but not least is our new Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die. It adds instant texture and pattern to any card front or paper project your working on with just one pass through your die cutting machine. This die is extra special because depending on how you perceive the pattern it looks either like staggered cubes or flowers! How cool is that?

Here is a project I made for our release featuring this die and more.

I wanted to demonstrate how this new pattern forms the prettiest flowers so I grabbed my Copic markers and make some really "quick flicks" and behold......flowers! Once my base was complete, I used the second smallest rectangle die in our Stitched Mats Rectangles Die Set to cut away the center. In this spot, I made a shaker using acetate sheets and clear sequins. Behind the shaker and on the inside of my card it was a perfectly sized spot for a greeting from the new Hand Drawn Thankfulness Stamps which I stamped in black onto pink vellum.

June New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hi there, everyone!!! How are you today? Are you ready to check out the newest stamps and dies to arrive at Lil' Inker Designs???

New to Lil' Inker Designs? Love to support small, independently owned, women-run business? LID is for you! I've been running LID out of two bedrooms in my home for the last TEN years. In addition to my amazing Design Team Members and those who support me with graphic design, my operation is entirely a one-woman show!

Let's GO!!!! We have a little bit of something for everyone in this release from tea-themed stamps and dies, birthday supplies and another addition to our ever-popular Quilted Stitched Dies collection.

(Remember, our products are photographed at an angle to prevent intellectual property and design theft for counterfeit production in China. All of our items are of the highest quality and manufactured in the United States.)

First up are our brand new Cake Party Stamps and coordinating Dies!

Our Cake Party Stamps are entirely hand illustrated including the sentiments! These cutie-pie animals are jumping for joy because they're so excited to celebrate your special occasion or birthday! We've included a bear, elephant, lion, and giraffe as well as some very important accessories like a cake, because a party without cake is just a meeting! We've also included balloons, party hats, confetti and noisemakers for you to create with. The sentiments read hooray, celebrate and let's party - simple but perfect greetings.

We've also created a Cake Party Die Set which will cut out the images in the stamp set with precision and ease!

Next up is a die that is perfect for any paper crafter's collection. It's our Happy Birthday to You Word Die. It's done is a perfect, script font and the layout of the words is extremely card-making friendly. You can even trim off the "to you!" and this can read just as Happy Birthday. I like that versatility!

Our new Hand Drawn Thankfulness is also entirely hand illustrated if the title didn't already tip you off! It's the thanks-themed sister to our Hand Drawn Happiness Stamps which were a HUGE hit! Just like it's happiness counterpart, these stamps also perfectly coordinate with our Shaker Tag Die Set but of course can be used in any way you like. I just love the whimsical feel of these images as well as the larger size. They make great phrases to stamp on tags or will serve perfectly as focal images for your card making.

Please Note: There is a small typographical error on the image of the stamp set above. All purchased sets will arrive with a corrected stamp image. It happens to the best of us!! :)

This is one of the coolest Quilted Stitched Dies we've ever created. I call it our Quilted Stitched Stepping Stones Die because it features a pattern of squares or cubes all linked together. However, depending on how you see the pattern it might also look like six-petaled flowers! This means you have lots of versatility on how you use this die. Our Quilted Stitched and Cover Up Dies are the easiest and fastest ways to add texture, pattern and visual interest to all your card making projects!!!

Dear LID, have you forgotten about us tea lovers? NOPE!!! I gotcha!!!

Here is our fantastic new Time for Tea Die Set. It features a teacup perfectly sized for card making as well as a saucer and tea bag die that hangs right off the rim of your tea cup. It's adorable and you're going to love it as much as you love the real thing.

You're going to want to pair our new Time for Tea Die Set with it's coordinating Time for Tea Stamps!!

I was inspired, once again, by Rae Dunn ad included some large, single words that I thought would be fun for card making; mom, dad, friend, and teacher. These stamp perfectly on our teacup die as do the rest of the sentiments in the set which says things like, "enjoy the little things", "be silly, be honest, be kind", "you're stronger than you think", "gimme some sugar" and more!
Throughout the set, you'll notice that there are some much smaller sentiment stamps. They're designed specifically to be stamped onto the tea bag die cut in our Time for Tea Die Set and they coordinate or play off of some of the main greetings in the set very nicely. I've even given you a simple heart and star stamps for the tea bag as well.
I've also included 4 pattern stamps. They will stamp around the rim of your teacup perfectly.

I think you're going to really love these new supplies. If you already own our Coffee Talk 2 Stamps and Dies, you'll love that the new tea stuff can be mixed and matched with the coffee supplies!! Woot!! I'm really excited about these new items!

So, what do you think?

Would you like to see a project I made for today using the new supplies?

I had an idea to turn the Time for Tea Die into a gift card holder and I was SO excited when I saw that the opening in the cup was just large enough to fit a card! Yahoooooo! I love when things like this happen. I didn't plan this!

I started by cutting my cup and knowing I wanted it to be for a teacher I stamped it with our previously released Teacher Talk Stamps to make this cute apple and then with the "teacher" stamp from the Time for Tea Stamps which I then heat embossed in black. Then, I created a 4.25" square card base using kraft paper and I die cut it with our previously released Quilted Stitched Woodgrain Die for some texture.

To turn this card into a gift card holder, I placed my teacup on my base where I wanted it to be and traced the inside of the cup where the tea would be and I cut away that piece from my card base using a craft knife. I nestled my teacup into a saucer I cut from red paper and then adhere the whole thing over the opening I cut. Then, I completed my card front with a sentiment from the Teacher Talk Stamps.  To keep my gift card in place, under the card front, I placed a folded piece of card stock so there is a pocket keeping the card from slipping through the front.

This next card from Kristie, @bestthingsinlifearepink, is totally cool while getting a totally different look with the same die as Kim's!

Here we have the Cover Up Die: Butterfly cut in black and on a while background and it is amazing what a different look you get. I love how Kristie added the glitter! It adds just the right about of sparkle and extra color for fun. The sentiment from Spread Your Wings Stamps is just the perfect addition to finish off the card. Love it!

Next up, is a fun coffee card from Jen, @jen_shears.

The combo of colors and patterns on this card is absolutely fantastic and I love love the use of our Latte Love Stamps and Latte Love Dies with the paper pieced cut and saucer! This set is so fun with the different choices of coffee foam art. Jen showed it off just perfectly!

If you love a good coffee card and a great combo of products, look no further than this amazing card from Lisa, @bzscrapper.

Can we start with the amazing background using our Cover Up Die: Diagonal Plaid? I love the color combo and the flipping of the die to get that awesome plaid. Next, Lisa used the super fun So Prickly Cactus Dies to spice things up a little and I love the patterns she used on these fun cacti! Finish is all off with the coolest mug from Coffee Talk 2 Die Set and a fussy cut sentiment from Coffee Talk 2 Stamps and you've got a really winner of a card!

This final card from Bridget (@bbenincasa) really made me stop, think, and wonder how she did that!
