25 Days of Christmas Tags with Lil' Inker Designs

Hiiiiieeeeeeee!!!! I'm here for Lil' Inker Designs' turn for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags!!!!

Please CLICK HERE for details about our AMAZING Black Friday Sale happening RIGHT NOW!

This is Laura and I'm the owner of Lil' Inker Designs. If you're just hearing about my little company for the first time, WELCOME!

Lil' Inker Designs is a small company started in 2009 with an idea that was born right at my very own craft table and is still run out of two rooms in my home. I can often be seen designing products in my kitchen while simultaneously cooking dinner, packaging orders after dessert and answering customer inquiries from under the covers. HA!

I love LOVE to make tags - maybe even more than I enjoy making cards. I think because it's a smaller, cuter version than a card and because I love gift packaging and my tags often adorn my wrapped gifts.

Lil' Inker has so many awesome tags dies in its collection. My most recent favorite is our new Mitten Shaker Die Set.

Here are a couple of fantastic projects that were previously made by our Design Team Members.

Aren't these fantastic??

While this die set makes the most adorable shaker, the largest die when used alone makes a FABULOUS tag. Have a look at these new gift tags that I made for today's hop!!!

Using the largest die in the set, I pulled out some of my favorite patterned paper and got cutting! Aren't these lovely cut from patterned paper?

Then, I began to dress up my mittens by cutting the "wrist parts" in coordinating card stock. Each wrist part can be left plain (or solid) or you can use either of the wrist-pattern dies to add texture.

Once that was complete, I began to stamp my sentiment, holiday wishes, from the Ready Set Snow Stamp Set which was designed to coordinate with the Mitten Shaker Die Set. The sentiment was stamped on coordinating cardstock and die cut with the second to smallest die in the Stitched Mats: Circles Die Set.

Then, each mitten received a "from tag" which were die cut using our Sentiment Flag Original Die and stamped using an image from our Ornamental Christmas Stamp Set.

I am so excited about the way these turned out and I hope that I've inspired you to create something new with these supplies.

To celebrate the 25 Days of Christmas Tags Hop, we're giving away a $25 gift certificate to our store!

To be eligible to win this prize, please leave a comment on this blog post before Sunday, November 25th at 11:30 PM EST.

  3. Oh my goodness Laura your tags are sweet. Sadly, I don't have mitten dies but a friend of mine has a similar set (Spellbinders, I think) and I might just borrow them to make some of these for my grandsons for Christmas. (I am SO inspired by these.)
I have another friend who makes me wool mittens and socks for my little guys every year for Christmas and these would be the perfect tags for the gift.
I have to say, I am like you, tags are some of my fave crafts to make as they Re just a smaller, cuter and quicker version of a card...Lol Love making them!
