March New Release Hop Day 3

Hi there!! This has been such a fun release!

I'm really excited about all the new things in the store!

This is Day 3 of our hop which means that this is the day I finally stop rambling on about the new items and invite you to view the video I created for you for this release. I think it's probably more informative than anything I could write for you.....I love to write these blog posts but I'm definitely more of a conversationalist! ;)

If you haven't seen it yet, here is the video:

If you would prefer to learn all about our new items please feel free to go back and view our Day 1 Post and Day 2 Posts as well as visit OUR STORE for all the info on your favorite items.

For now, I will show you the graphics of everything we're releasing and just a few important notes.

Dual Stitched Egg and Easter Greeting Die coordinates with Easter Hodgepodge Stamps, Egg & Flower Greetings Stamps and Easter Greetings Paper Pack!

Coordinates with our existing Bunnies & Bows Die Set, Dual Stitched Egg & Easter Greeting Die as well as Easter Greetings Paper Pack.

Amazing stamps and the eggs can all be cut out with our Dual Stitched Egg & Easter Greeting Die.

Oh my gosh I love these Easter Greetings Papers! They'll make your Spring and Easter projects come together so easily!

The Easter Basket Die Set EVER! Use it for Easter and fill it with eggs using the included die and top it off with the included bow. You could also try filling it with flowers or even snipping off the handle and filling it with anything you like. This is a must have!!!

GREAT set of tags. The dotted border is amazing!

A sweet treat holder for sure! Be sure and check out the photo gallery for this item in our store to see lots of different things these dies and stamps can do!

Oh my goodness if you can only pick one thing to buy from this release I might have to tell you it's these flowers and their coordinating dies. They're so so pretty. I love them!

Here are some gift packaging goodies that I thought you would like to have in the store. These cone treat baggies are super fun!

A must have in your collection are these clear gift and stationary boxes!

Who doesn't love a pillow box? Get them in kraft or clear!

That about wraps it up. How about some projects for today?

This is the first card I made using our Fresh Cut Flowers Dies and Stamps. I started with my Silly Stitched Die Set on my card base. LOVE what these do to a card base! Then, I just got stamping and it was great! These stamps are easy to work with and I think I made it even easier with the document I created for you. It shows you all the multi-step stamps which are easy to line up by eyeing and also shows you which stamps mix and match and which are just single step stamps. This document will also help you figure out which dies in the set go with which stamps. HERE is a link to that .pdf which you can also print out and keep with your stamp set if you like!

I wanted to make a bunch of flowers that looked like they were just picked up from the florist so I got busy stamping and die cutting and then I made a bouquet wrap using paper from a vintage sewing pattern. It was just the right touch. It's just like tissue but the tea-stained color of the paper gave this such an authentic look which I then tied with black twine. It was easy to make. I just cut a square from the sewing pattern and folded it a few times in case you'd like to try. :)

Since the new Fresh Cut Flowers Stamps do not have sentiments in them I wanted to bust out something that I hadn't used in a while. I knew this card was going to be for my mom so I knew in an instant that our Mom Word Die and Mom & Dad Sentiment Stamps would be perfect! I die cut the Mom Die from wood veneer paper and stamped and heat embossed the sentiment in gold. PERFECT now for Mother's Day! I hope you love it.

Here is another peek at everything I previously shared for this release...

As you well know, we are giving away three $15 gift certificates to our store which you can be eligible to  win and just by leaving some love along you way through our hop today. Leave all comments by March 6th 2016 11:30 PM EST.

Here is a list of everyone participating in our third and final hop day:

LID Blog <<--------- you are here

That just about does it for our new release!! I'm going to leave you to hop on out of here and visit our Design Team! I guess before I do, I should update you. I'm starting to get emails about the results of the Design Team Call and want you all to know that I have not finished going through them yet. The release this week has kept me busy but I promise to hunker down and finish reading throughout the weekend! I've got to get CRACKING!

How are you enjoying the format of our new releases and the photo quality? I'd love your feedback on ideas for changing the format. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" but after the same format for 5 years now I feel the need for a change. Dare I say it but, I'm thinking of video only and a supporting blog post. What do you think?

Also, be on the look out for another Flashback Friday Post coming soon!
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you so much for all your positive feedback and enthusiasm for this release.

Love,
Photobucket

    1. P.S. About the change of Format for your Releases!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Videos that you do!! I Also LOVE LOVE LOVE that you upload ALL of the DT Projects on the Product Pages so when you are shopping you can EASILY see the Inspiration that you have showing the Products in use!! I also LOVE that you share ALL of the Project Photos on the Blog as sometimes its HARD to get to ALL of the Blogs to see them all!! Maybe just a couple days of Projects shared here on your Blog with the Release Video that you do and then do one BIG Blog Hop at the end of the Two Days for everyone to see the Products in use and for the chances to WIN!!?? That might be a Nice change, yet still keeping the REALLY GREAT Parts of the Release Week that you already do!! =) Just my thoughts!! Have a FABULOUS WEEK!! =)
