You Made It Monday Vol. 7

Well, it's 2016!  Happy New Year!  Every year many of us make some resolutions.  Some of which we actually follow through with.  This year I'm going to try my hardest to keep my resolution and I think with the inspiration you guys help provide, I just might make it.  I feel like I always get behind on my birthday cards.  I love making someone feel extra special with a handmade card especially when it's their birthday.  So, my resolution for the year is to build up my birthday card stash so I never fall behind.  With this in mind, I went out looking for some awesome birthday cards around the web and, boy, did you guys answer my call.

First up we have this amazingly happy birthday card from Jen W.

Jen did some amazing things with Balloon Dies and the stars they leave behind.  Can't you just see changing up the colors and stock piling a ton of these for girls, boys, men, and women?  I think the birthday sentiment from Send Pretty Greetings Stamps would look awesome on this, especially with the stars!  Gorgeous card and layout, Jen!

Our next card comes from Tammy Hershberger and is a gorgeous use of the Perky Posies Die Set.

I just love how Tammy arranged the pretty little posies around her sentiment which could be popped up on a Stitched Mats: Long & Skinny Rectangles.  Her mix of flowers, leaves, and enamel dots is just perfect and I know I'd love to see this birthday card in my mailbox.  Thanks so much for sharing your card, Tammy!

Next up is a card using one of the cutest birthday sets ever, Party Pachyderms.

I spotted this card on Pinterest and hunted it down on Jenny's blog, Crafting in the Country.  I just love how the stack of presents and the color of the elephant pop on this card.  Is that not the cutest and happiest birthday card you've ever seen?  Party on, Jenny!!

How could I talk about birthdays without showing off some cards made with the Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die?  Well, I've got two for you!  First, is this card from Michelle Bala.

Talk about bright and happy!  I love the dots and colors and especially the inking on the Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die.  Michelle created this awesome shaker card and even better, if you follow the link to her post, you can see the close up on the window detail (you don't want to miss that), plus, she shares another awesome card made with Lil' Inker Designs' goodies.  It's a twofer!

My last card is actually three ideas in one.  I stumbled on a picture of this card when I simply searched for "Boxed Up Birthday" in my search engine.

How lucky did I feel when I followed the link and found three projects Tara created using the Boxed Up Birthday Greeting Die in one spot?  I loved them all but couldn't resist sharing this one which also uses Perky Posies Die Set and the Quilted Stitched Pattern Die.  Just look at that wood grain and I love how she positioned the posies.  Adorable, Tara!
