July New Release Day 2!

Hi there! Laura here and I'm back for day 2 of our new release hop! Did you enjoy day 1? I DID!!!! I am, however, excited to be back for another fun day!

Let's take another look at the items that are new in store this week, shall we?

I couldn't possibly love our new Snailed It stamps and die more! I think the images together with the sentiments are just so sweet and fun! You'll appreciate that we've done the snails in a two-step so that you can mix and match the colors of the snail and his shell. Seriously, "Snailed it!". How fun is this sentiment? I think it's perfect for a congrats or even a graduation card. There are lots of options with this set that I know you'll enjoy.

Oh, the Quilted Flowers Dies are so very awesome! Yesterday, I was telling you how my tripod broke and I wasn't able to prepare the video I had envisioned. WELL, Jen Carter read my mind....great minds think alike because she made a great video showing you TEN different options for flower combinations with this die set. It's pretty cool and you should TOTALLY check this out! Get your coffee!

I think these flowers are super cool! They can be funky, feminine, soft, a little wild - it's up to you!

Ok, you know how much I am digging our new Pineapple Panache goodies. I love the different patterns of pineapples we've given you here and I  really like that no matter how you use them your finished pineapples can all be cut with our coordinating Pineapple Panache Die. Love!

Greetings and Salutations is a terrific handwritten set of sentiments. I love all the frills and swirls in this set. It's just so pretty. Even better, it's a very useful set of stamps that can be used for so many different occasions. Sometimes you just need to send a card for no reason. Am I right? And I think this is just the perfect set to do just that but so much more.

YESS!!! Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain is a beautiful marriage of a stitched die and a woodgrain pattern. Two things I love! How about you? This die will cut this cool and intricate pattern into your card front or is great for a smaller focal panel as well. Of course we've made lining up this die to your pre-made A2 card base a total breeze because it's an exact A2 size or 4.25" wide by 5.50" tall. I have about a million things sketched out that I would like to try with this die. This is a fun die to have in your collection!

Um, hello gorgeous!!!! Cover Up Die: Dotted Scallops has this pretty dotted pattern that cuts away or out from your paper leaving this pretty dotted pattern in its wake. I neglected to mention yesterday that another fun thing about this die is that you can orientate it in two different ways making the scallops go in either direction. FUN! But, seriously....how pretty is this? I love that some of the dots are different sizes. It just makes this look so fancy! It too is a perfect A2 size.

For a more in depth take on each of the products released this week be sure to read our Day 1 Release Post in case you missed it OR head on over to lilinkerdesigns.com and read the description of your favorites on their product pages!

How about some projects??? Hmmm.....what to share........ SNAILS!!

Here I started by making a 4" square card base from white stock which  die cut it with my new Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain. OMG! Look at this one in action! It's brilliant. I love it! I stamped my snail body first, then die cut it with my Snailed It Die and then finished it off with the solid shell. This is my method of achieving perfect snails but by no means is the only way. I made this super clean and simple by running a rose border along the bottom and stamping my sentiment in black. Hahahaha! Thanks slow much. FUNNY!!!

For my next project I used a lot of white space and a more brightly colored snail. I also used our Border Builders Die Set to great the grassy hill and used coordinating stamps from the set to make a little sky scene. I love that the belated birthday stamp has a coordinating sentiment. Such a sweet little set!

Ok, one more card for today and it features our new Greetings and Salutations stamps and our Ombré Stripes paper pad from our previous release.

Also seen here are our Anytime Tags 2 Die Set and my sentiment was heat embossed in Zing Neon Pink embossing powder. I love how this turned out and I am STILL in love with the ombré papers! WOW!!!

By the way, any of the inks used on my projects this week have been mainly the Ranger Archival Inks. They are unbelievable!!! The jet black is the best black I have EVER EVER EVER used and the inks aren't too liquidy so they don't seep into the fine details of your stamps and muck them up - if that makes sense. I did a swatch out of the colors I have. I'll see if I can get a shot of it to share with you. I can't recommend these more!

Ok, so just a reminder that we have three $15 gift certificates up for grabs and all you have to do to be eligible to win one is comment on our designers' blogs as you hop today!
