March Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hi everyone!! I hope that you're enjoying our new release and hop so far! Yesterday, I focused on our new Mini Canvas Die, Mini Easel and Paint Your Canvas Stamps. Today, I'm going to showcase our Triangle Treat Holder Die and the bundles accessories that come with it.

Before I do let's have another look at everything new at Lil' Inker Designs this month!

Honest to goodness, our new Cover Up Die: Pointelle is absolutely gorgeous!!!!! The dotted pattern you see in the graphic above actually cuts away or out from your card front and it is just so pretty it makes me squeal! HA!!!!

I love our sweet new Hey, Foxy goodies! I love that you can create this adorable little fox very simply with just a few die cuts and our new matching stamps. AND we're planning to add MORE animals to this collection using the body of the fox to build on. You can create a fox with so many different expressions just by tilting the head or the placement of the fox's face when you stamp. This is a sweet and fun couple of goodies to add to your collection!! I love playing with them!!!

The idea for our new Mini Canvas Die came about really from two different sources of inspiration. I started seeing a lot of pre-made canvases in the big box craft stores but they were either too big or too small and at the same time I had been formulating an idea for a way to give paper crafters something else to do with all of the supplies they already have. I LOVE LOVE to create home decor and display it in my home and especially in my craft room. All of these things came together I guess and a lightbulb went off! Our new Mini Canvas Die is a great way to stretch those supplies and create your own mini works of art.
What I really like about this die is that you can craft on it JUST like you would a card front and give it to someone in place of a card. I'm sure the person who receives it would proudly display it their home as well and for a long time to come!

Display your canvases on our new Mini Easels. They are made of natural (unfinished) hardwood and fold flat for easy storage or gift giving. They can be painted or stained if you so wish but match any decor as is. Our Mini Canvases look SO GREAT displayed on this stand.

I thought it would be great to give you a stamp set with some inspirational sentiments to use with our Mini Canvas Die. These are done in a beautiful, "painted" font and look amazing on our Mini Canvas Dies or used on card fronts. Paint Your Canvas is a FUN ONE you will love working with!

Ok, our Really Rosemaling Stamps ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!! You will LOVE building your own beautiful floral images with this set. The art is based on a folk art design that began in Norway. I came across  some info on the move Frozen and how Rosemaling art was infused in the design and I was really inspired. When I started to do some more research I saw how popular this type of art is becoming. I'm excited to be able to give you a set so you can translate the beauty of Rosemaling into your paper crafts!!! LOVE THIS!! Can't stop stamping!!! And it felt really good to just stamp - get out some inks and have at it!!

Love these guys!!! You will too! Wonky Squares are the perfect funky squares or even diamonds if you turn them on their side and of course feature our stitching detail which makes them POP!!! Love love love!!! For a limited time through March 4th, 2015 (EST) qualifying orders of $75 or more will receive 25% off this die set when you use the code LIDDEAL at checkout. See the graphic below for the full details :)

Our Triangle Treat Holder Die is such a great way to make a nifty little giftie! Each treat holder uses a full sheet of paper. You'll need to cut to panels and then assemble them together. Assembly is super easy and then your treat holder can be decorated in so many ways. When you purchase this bundle you'll also receive the Bunny Treats Dies and Stamps so you can easily turn your treat holder into an adorbs bunny!! LOOK at those footsies! How cute are they with the little stitching and heart paws! LOVEEEEE this!!

How about we take a look at some projects using this new bundle?

Here I used white paper to assemble my bunny treat. I stamped his face in great and accented the nose, ears and feet with Copics. I love how all of the sentiments in the Bunny Treats Stamps fit right onto one of the ears. The holes we've added at the top of the die cut allows you to tie the treat closed with twine or your favorite ribbon. I love how this comes together.

To show you how easy this is to assemble I've put together a video for you to watch!

Here is another card I made using the Bunny Treats Dies and Stamps but this time I used our Anytime Tags Die Set to create this sweet little bunny!!!!!! I LOVE how this turned out!!! In the background I stamped a sentiment repeatedly from our Spring Sentiments Stamp Set and I created the bunny's bowtie by using our Bow Die Mini just snipped each end after I assembled it to make even more mini. I also used our Stitched Mats: Side-Stitched Rectangles to create the border on my pink layer.

Ok, so I'm going to send you on your way so you can see all of the fantastic projects the team has for you today! Here is the hop order for today:

Don't forget to leave some love for our teammates. If you do, you'll be entered into the running to win one of three $15 store credits we're giving away; one for each day of the hop!

Thank you so much for spending a part of your day with us today!!! We'll see you tomorrow for our final hop day!
