New Release Day 1: Holiday Goodies

Hi there! I can't believe we are here again with another fun release already! We have some fantastic new goodies to share with you today that are perfect for all of your holiday cards! Let's get right to it!

Here is everything we are releasing today...

First up above is our Christmas Bits Die Set! It's soooo super adorable! This is a five piece die set containing a Stitched Gingerbread Man, Bow, Tree, Ornament containing the word Merry which is I think my favorite piece and also, our previously released Jingle Bell Die. More on that last one in a few minutes. Each and every one of these pieces is adorable and after working with them for several weeks now I am still discovering ways they can be used for cute cards with some of our existing products. The tree was designed by Karen Baker and also appears in our new Jolly and Joyful Sentiments Stamp Set but in a smaller size. And of course Ariana did an amazing job interpreting my sketches and ideas into some really cute pieces! You will love this set!

Next up, YES - MORE BELLS! So, this is something that we have had TONS and tons of requests more - more of our original bell but in larger sizes and here we've done just that. For those of you not familiar with our original bell die from our Jingle Joy Die Set each bell is two separate die cuts which are shown assembled above. You will love these especially when used with specialty glitter paper giving them lots of pizzaz! You will LOVE these new sizes!

Above are two new word dies we're releasing - jolly and joy - two of my favorite and festive holiday words! These are words we've seen from Lil' Inker in the past but done now in a totally modern and fresh new way. You will love the super cute font and the perfect size of these word dies!

Here is the perfect 3x4 stamp set for our brand new joy and jolly word dies! We call this our Jolly & Joyful Sentiments. We've used a playful font to create phrases which coordinate with our holiday word dies. This set also includes some adorable elements designed by Karen Baker that I truly love and you will too!

Last but not least is what I think is going to be the star of our release.........

This is our brand new Cover Up Die: Christmas! It's a cover up die that cuts a series of holiday words and phrases in great fonts and font combinations and even included within the design are some snowflakes. This is a truly new take on Cover Up Dies seeing as how we've seen lots of shapes but not text - LOOOOOOVE THIS!!! In fact, I love this die so much that I've made a video chat demonstrating a technique that I think you will find useful to give you the best results when using this die at home.
This is my first video for Lil' Inker Designs - a chat between friends if you will!! Pretend we're having coffee :)  Here goes.....

Ok, so now you have learned that spending more time at your cutting machine running this die through using the technique I explain will save you lots of time in the long run :) and get you the best results!

Here is a project I've made using our new Cover Up Die: Christmas

I just love how a bit of my red card base peeks out all the way around the edges because of how we designed this die! And I just loooove all of the words and fonts and snowflakes packed into this die. It's incredible gorgeous and unique and I think you will LOVE having this in your collection. I made this card is under 5 steps! Cut and score card base, die cut Cover Up Die, adhere to card front, embellish with ribbon! This was truly a team effort between Ariana, Karen and myself! Great job, Ladies!

Here is another project I've made to share with you today. It also features our Cover Up Die: Christmas but also shows you our adorable Stitched Gingerbread Man from our Christmas Bits Die Set. I hand drew his face and added some gold dots for buttons. Also shown here are our Stitched Mats: Squares (out of stock but coming soon) and our Holly Jolly Sentiments. Cover Up Die: Christmas is shown here cut in red on a red card base which gives it a whole new look and use!

One more project for you today. Here I used the largest bell from our Jingle Bell Die Set along with our new Joy Word Die and a phrase from our Jolly & Joyful Sentiments Stamp Set. Seen here is also our Stitched Mats: Rectangles. I am so in love with the font in this set. It's simple, yet there's something fresh and quirky about it at the same time! Adorbs!

Ok, so let me back track for a minute and talk about something else. We are planning to retire our previously released Jingle Joy Die Set seen HERE. (This die set is already sold out) Because everyone has been loving the bell die over the years we wanted to still be able to bring it to you which is why we added it to our Christmas Bits Die Set. So, if you already own our Jingle Joy Set and order the Christmas Bits Die Set you will be receiving a duplicate Jingle Bell Die. However, if you order our Jingle Bell Die Set you will receive two larger sizes of this original die which again is something that I've had customers requesting for a very long time now.

You will recall that the Jingle Joy Die Set has a coordinating stamp set seen HERE. We are also planning to retire this stamp set but seeing as how you still have access to our original bell die it makes this stamp set still totally usable in lots of fun ways. While supplies last this stamp set has been reduced to $6 and this will be the last time you will be able to purchase it.

More exciting news to share with you today, we are delighted to welcome a very special Guest Designer with us for this release. I am personally a big fan of her work. I just love her style and I can look at a card and know that she made it. Her work has been published lots in CARDS Magazine and she's a fan of Lil' Inker Designs....Welcome Jeanne Jachna of A Kept Life!!!!!!!

Thank you, Jeanne for joining us! We're super excited to have you! Just WAIT until you see what Jeanne has in store for your this week :)

Unfortunately, this week Isha Gupta and Taheerah Atchia will not be joining us. Isha is on holiday and poor Taheerah's goodies must be lost because they haven't arrived to her yet after being in transit for almost a month now :(  Hopefully, they will be to her soon and she will be able to join Isha next week for a product spotlight when we reveal this hop's prize winners.

Speaking of prizes - remember to leave some love and comments for our designers along the way. We will pick a designer's blog as our secret prize blog and pull our winners from comments. So, the more comments you leave this week the better your chances are of winning. We'll be giving away 2 $10 store credits and maybe just maybe a lil' somethin' extra :)

So, I'm going to send you off to hop now to Alicia Thelin's blog. Enjoy our hop today and see you tomorrow for more crafty goodness!

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you're loving all of our new goodies and enjoyed my video. I have had the best time crafting over these last few weeks with all of our new goodies. Fun fun!

  23. Oh I loved your video, I do have a baby craft addiction too, lol. For my intricate dies, like the La La Land, I found folder a 110 lb cardstock in half and adding it to the sandwhich really cut back on the number of times I had to go back and forth or rock and roll! I can't wait to see what's up for tomorrow, love all the new products.
