November Mini Release Preview Day!!

Hi there, crafty friends!!!

I'm really excited to be here with you today because I have so many fun things to tell you about today! First up, let's talk about our New Mini Release items!

We have three new items that we're previewing today with a Design Team Blog Hop. Then, these items will be available for purchase on November 24th which also happens to be Black Friday - our BIGGEST sale day of the year!! These new items will also be part of our sale so you can get them at 25% off!!! Yahoooooooo!!!!!

Let's look at these new goodies. I'm going to start first with our new Unstoppable Stamps.

This is an amazing set of stamps which contains fun and funky spots, splatters, dots and dashes and they are really fun to play with especially for creating fun backgrounds. They are equally eye-catching stamped colorfully or even in black and white.

The sentiments are encouraging and positive perfect for many greeting occasions. You are going to soooo want these the minute you see all the projects made with these stamps by our talented team!

Next up is a new set called Magical Winter.

While the main images in this new set focus on these cute unicorns and a Winter theme if you look a little more closely you'll see that we've designed this set in such a way that you can use it any time of the year for occasions like birthdays and friendship and MORE!! 

You'll enjoy creating scenes with the additional images we've included in this set or dressing up the unicorns. The uni on two legs can be made to look as if she's skating by adding the ice skates over her. The unicorn on three legs can wear the scarf, hat or ear-muffs and can hold the present or coffee in her hand.

Some of the larger words in this set were illustrated by hand specifically for this set and combined with a fun and sweet font to create special greetings. All around a super-fun ad purposeful set we hope you love!

Of course, we had to bring you a set of coordinating Magical Winter Dies which will cut out the images in the set with precision and ease. YAY!

Here are a couple of projects I made using these new goodies. In full disclosure, I had the WORST LIGHTING EVER and I plan to re-shoot these photos first chance I get. K? Thanks!

I started with our Unstoppable Set and did a little ombré ink stamping with my favorite spots in the set. Then, using our Hello Word Die, I die cut my stamped card base and then cut my hello again several times from scraps so I could build up the hello and make it telescope off the card front. Then, I made a little flag and heat embossed a sentiment from the set so now my entire greeting reads, "Hello. You're the Best!". Isn't that sweet?

Here, I've used our new Magical Winter set and ER MEH GERD I love this tag!!!! I started with my Embossed Dots Tags which I've been slightly obsessed with lately and I added a background of clouds using my Border Builders Die Set. I also stamped some snowflakes from the set right onto my stone colored tag.  Then, I got coloring my unicorn and her coffee and scarf accessories. UMmmmmmm, THESE ARE WAY FUN to color!!!! AND EASY! Did I mention easy?? YES!!!! I decided to leave my unicorn basically white with just a little shadowing and did her mane and tail in pinks. Then, I used some pastel colored Copics to color her accessories. 

I die cut everything and laid it out as you see above and then heat embossed my sentiment in pink embossing powder - Grapefruit by Zing! to be exact. It's a terrific color!
Then, I used my favorite Wink Of Stella Pens in clear and gold; gold for her horn and clear for the mane and tail. Seriously, I love the way this came together.

I purchased this felt ornament at a craft fair this past weekend at our Middle School. I instantly fell in love and had to have one!

Sarah is one of the original Design Team Members for Lil' Inker when we established the team at the end of 2011. Sarah will be working with me behind the scenes on so many different things so while you may not see here here out in front with new projects for new releases you can be sure that her talents, intelligence and incredible creative eye are still hard at work here at LID!!! I'm very excited to work with Sarah in this new capacity.

I would be remiss if I didn't also ask for a warm welcome back for Lea Lawson as well! Lea is also working with me behind the scenes and creating exclusive content and projects for our Newsletter and helping me to make sure we get one out to you every month! YESS!!!!

You Made It Monday, Vol. 42

I just couldn't wait to share this amazing sympathy card that Lisa posted on her blog, Bellalistona.
 

Pets are so amazingly important to so many of us, in fact, they are family.  I just love how Lisa kept this card light and cheery.  From the cloud shape of the card to the perfect coloring of the Angel Pets Stamp, there couldn't be a sweeter way to let someone know you are thinking of them.  Thanks for sharing, Lisa!

I'm not sure about you but I'm in the mood for some glitter.  Cheryl, @cherylcards, shows us how impactful glitter can be in this gorgeous card.

Cheryl shows off how the Cover Up Die: Geometric Snow can be used for so much more than just the holidays.  I love that silver glitter with a simple bit of vellum and a red sentiment strip to finish it off.  It's simply elegant!

Now it's time to get a little Christmasy.  I love seeing all of your Christmas creations start popping up at this time of year and I couldn't help noticing this adorable card by Toni, Frankie Helps Craft.

I just love the soft mood Toni captured here.  You can almost feel the holidays slowly coming with the awesomely light and airy water coloring on our Season's Greetings Stamps.  Cut and layered on this soft snowflake paper...perfection.

Another gorgeous and simple Christmas creation comes to us from Lynn, The Mango Boys and Me.

Could this be anymore perfect.  The gorgeous new Cover Up Die: Geometric Snow absolutely jumps out at you in white layered on red.  A simple sentiment on a banner works perfectly to share some Christmas cheer and a simple piece of twine is an adorable finishing touch.  So pretty, Lynn!

Our final card is a show stopper shared by @atikinscreations.

When I think of making seasonal cards, I can't help but think of our Oh Deer Christmas Stamps.  It makes it so simple to create an elegant card and this card is wonderful.  I love the layers and the simple touches of the twine and burlap background paper.  It's just gorgeous.

25 Days of Christmas Tags and Lil' Inker Designs

Hello and welcome to the Lil' Inker Designs Blog today!!! I'm Laura, the owner of Lil' Inker Designs and I'm here posting for the fabulous and fun 25 Days of Christmas Tags Hop!!! YAY!!!!!

I'd love to share some projects I made for you today! Are you ready?

I'm still a lover of the "shaker" both in card and tag form so I gave one a whirl for this hop today!

I started with our Anytime Tags Dies  and then die cut it with our Oh My Ornaments Dies to create the shaker window which I backed with some pretty Winter themed paper. The tiny greeting perfect for this tag is from our Holly Jolly Stamp Set. This set has been around since we first started out. It's a WINNER for any crafter's collection. The greetings are sweet and petite!

Here's a closer look at the items from Lil' Inker Designs used to create this fun tag.

I was in a coloring mood so I decided to try my hand at making a non-holiday stamp set into one perfect for it! Here I started by stamping and die cutting this cute image from our Cat Treats Stamp Set. This image is actually of the cats taking a selfie. So I cut out the phone image and replaced it with a coffee mug from another image in the same set. To give this more of a Christmas feel I just colored the clothing in reds and greens. Then, I took the hat of my Santa from our Moody Santa Stamps and trimmed it to fit on the girl kitty's head.

We recently had a holiday release in our store so since we're on the subject of tags I thought I'd share some tags that I love. Have you ever just made something that you end up being a big fan of? Hahahah!!!! Well, I ended up being a fan of how these turned out. I hope you like them too!
