March Release Hop Day 3

Well, hello there! Welcome to Day 3 of our March Release Hop! It's been a busy but exciting few days.

If you'd like to read all of my descriptions and explanations about all the little details that might not be so obvious at first glance please feel free to go back and read my Day 1 and Day 2 posts just by scrolling down a bit.

Here is quick peek at everything we've released this week.

Our Bunnies & Bows Die Set sold out super fast, but not to worry. I should have more by the latest Monday evening, March 31st. If you get on our Notification List I will email you as soon as these arrive. Simply visit the Bunnies & Bows page and click on the Notify Me button and follow the on screen instructions. Thanks for your patience while we work really hard to get these to you as soon as we can.

This is such a FUN and fantastic set of goodies! Thank you so much for all of your comments and positive feedback!

Here are some new projects I have to share with you today using these new goodies. I just couldn't stop crafting!!

I made this little treat bag - how cute are the ears on it???? I found a tutorial on Pinterest that I thought I'd share because it was super easy to make and can easily be mass produced. It's pretty small. Inside I added a very small bag of jelly beans, but this can be easily made with larger bags to accommodate a larger treat.

I started with small, flat kraft merchandise bags which I then stamped using Craft White Ink and the solid spot in our Spot On Stamp Set. Then I made the tag to dress it up using our Anytime Tags Die Set, Bunnies & Bows Die Set and a sentiment from our Funny Bunnies Stamp Set which we just re-released in a new 4x6 size stamp set.

Isn't this so cute? My problem is I make these things and then I don't want to part with them! Does that happen to you too?

Next up is a super simple but cute and colorful card using our new Rat Race Stamp Set. This would be a great little card to mass product for Valentine's Day because it's just simple stamping. I added in the staples as a little fun detail.

I made this card using our brand new Spot On Spring Stamp Set. This too was super easy to make. I'm on a kick with two-toned card bases this week. I couldn't decide on my card base colors so I did BOTH! Also shown here is a sentiment from our Mom & Dad Sentiments Stamp Set which I heat embossed onto a vellum strip. I thought it nicely grounded the other stamping I have going on here. LOVE that there are leaves and a stem included in the Spot On Spring set! I think this particular spot makes for an awesome flower!

Here I used the negative cut of a heart from our Stitched Hearts Die Set and did my stamping with my Spot On Spring Stamp Set mostly on the inside. The Love sentiment is heat embossed and is attached to the backside of the front card panel. Also shown here is one of the decorative heart stamps from our Love Things Stamp Set. Here's a closer look at the project....

Here is everything else I made which I previously shared this week...

Honest to goodness, I haven't had this much fun in my craft room in a looong time. I should show you a picture - it is an absolute horror show on my craft table. I can't wait to clean it...and then mess it all up again.

All of these goodies with the exception of the Bunnies & Bows Dies are all still in stock and some in limited quantities. You can head on over to our store HERE to read more about these goodies. I hope you will. I'd love for you to see the new store!

March Release Hop Day 2

Hello and welcome back to our March Release Hop Day 2! Yesterday was SO much fun! I'm so excited to show you our brand new look and all our new goodies. Thank you so much for the overwhelmingly excited response to our new products! I want you to know that each comment seriously makes my day! Thank you!

In case you're just joining us today, here is another look at everything we've just released...

Our new Bunnies & Bows Die Set is STELLAR!! What I really love about them the most is that at the very last minute I thought it would be clever if these bunnies could face each other if used together on a project! I love adding fun little details like this into our designs and I'm super in love with the pretty lil' bows to dress up these sweet dies! They are perfect for Easter & Spring, of course, but what about for new babies too? YES!

Hummina hummina! You have no idea how loooooong we have been playing with fonts and doing a stitched alphabet. Poor Ariana, has bald spots from my back and forth on this idea! We finally settled on this adorable and slightly chubby font which we love because the upper case and lower case letters can all be mixed and matched and interchanged for a truly unique and fun look! We call it our Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set and it contains 43 dies which are all about .75" tall - the perfect size for card making and the perfect size to keep your wallet happy too!

Here is the companion numbers and symbols set - Mixed & Stitched Numbers Die Set! Yes, please!

OMGSH - do you love how playful and fun this stamp set is? Doesn't it remind you of the little toys from wayy back with the teensy little silver balls in them? I just love the sentiments and fonts we did here in our new Rat Race Stamp Set. Notice how we didn't emphasize the word maze in the sentiments. That's so you can use these stamps for other projects as well and not just with this focal image. See! I'm always thinking of you!

This is the latest addition to what is now a collection of coordinating stamps and dies. I think EVERY paper crafter needs this collection because it's so versatile and well, it's just fresh and lovely! This is our Spot On Spring Stamp Set and we just love that it can be used to say things like "Happy For You, Love Ya, Lucky In Love and so much more especially if combined with Spot On Stamp Set (the original) and Darling Diamonds Stamp Set. You can say things like "Celebrate You" and "Yay For You". I always like new products that can breathe new life into old ones! It really stretches your dollars!

So, yes - these are amazing! The shape of our Spring Flowers is so unique. I love the ability to add the centers and layer these flowers for all different looks. I especially love that the leaves are specifically designed to resemble eggs. I thought about doing a set of stitched eggs - well now you have two of them AND these gorgeous flowers in one set.

I am LOVING these sentiments. Our Spring Sentiments Stamp Set is not only perfect for Spring, though! It can be used for love themed cards, new beginnings like babies or weddings maybe and there's even an inspiring sentiments too. Bases? COVERED all in this one set! We thought that these sayings were really the perfect companions to our new bunnies, flowers and butterflies! Something in this set can be used with all of these new dies!

So, I drew this butterfly shape but it was wayyy perfected by Karen Baker and I LOVE how they turned out. This set features our exclusive Dual Stitching Design so you can use the decorative negative cuts OR the main Stitched Butterfly dies. Love these! Did you notice the little loop-dee-loo die at the bottom of the set? It's actually the trail or flight of the butterfly and it adds a really pretty little detail,  I think. The neat thing about it is this particular die can be used as the hop of a bunny with our Bunnies & Bows Die Set! You just have to change the way it's laid out before it's cut! Cool!!
This set is wired together unlike our other Dual Stitched Die Sets. We did this to keep your costs as low as possible They can easily be broken apart by twisting but I recommend using wire snips. I used inexpensive jewelry pliers and I was able to snip off all the rough edges which would be left by twisting apart alone.

Hmmmmmmm.....which projects to share with you today.........  I think like to show off our new Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Die Set first.

First, I started by cutting my alphabet a few times from patterned paper and all of a sudden this little saying popped in to my head and I used heart die from our Stitched Hearts Die set in place of a word. I used the negative cut here and placed a piece of red patterned paper behind the cut out.  This is such a fun die set to work with because you can so many different things with it. Love these cute little letters!

Here is a home decor project I made. I started with a shadow box picture frame. I buy these and keep them until I need them for something like this because they are sort of hard to find especially in 4x6 and 5x7 sizes. They are perfect for displaying cards because you don't have to worry about the glass butting up against any embellishments. Here the glass is removed for clearer photography.

Then, I cut a piece of burlap fabric and glued it to a piece of sturdy cardboard as my base. I made this small, more narrow stitched rectangle with a little fancy die cutting which I thought was better suited for my focal piece. Then I used the large leaf in our Spring Flowers Die Set and die cut several pieces of pastel vellum and added letters to spell Easter using our new Mixed & Stitched Alphabet Dies and adhered them in place. I then hot glued this panel to the burlap after applying foam tape for some dimension. It's sort of a fun little piece! It was fun and came together very quickly!

Here's a card I made with our new Stitched Butterflies Die Set and Spring Sentiments stamp set. SUPER EASY CARD! On a white card base, die cut your butterfly and trail - doesn't it add a nice little effect?. Heat emboss sentiment on vellum paper using gold embossing powder, trim and adhere under butterfly one the front panel of your card. Add a piece of patterned paper inside your card. DONE! It's one of my favorites too!

I think that will do it for today, friends! I have more projects to share but I think I'll save them for tomorrow's post :) I hope I've got your gears turning today and have inspired you to use your new goodies when they arrive.

March Release Hop Day 1

Hi there! If you're here, you're awesome!!! It's a very exciting day for our team! Not only is it the beginning of a terrific new release but we've just launched our new look. Do you like?

I feel like this is the perfect representation of our little company. I ended up designing a rough draft of this final logo which initially included the script L, which is how I actually sign my name, inside the Sentiment Flag which has been part of our logo since the beginning. Initially our colors wayyyy back in 2010/2011 were orange and pink and somehow throughout some redesigns we ended up going mostly teal. So we went back to our roots a little and did a fresh updated teal and I am just loving everything about this! Of course, I couldn't have done ANY OF THIS REBRANDING without the help of the super awesome and fun to work with and yet still so professional while being fun - Angelica Suarez of AngSuarez Creative. What an amazing experience and lots of laughs were had too! Everything about our new look was finalized by Angelica and I couldn't be happier with how everything looks! Thanks, Angelica! :)

Now, would you like to have a look at some of the new goodies were releasing this week? Let's get right to it!

This die set is quite possibly my favorite of the bunch. Bunnies & Bows Dies Set features two stitched bunny dies in different sizes and a bow to dress up each bunny. The nice thing about this set too is that the bunnies face each other so they can be used as a pair on your paper crafting projects. Love love love love these dies and I have a feeling that I should have stocked more of them in our store. If this is the one you love, don't wait!

The above two dies sets really make me squeal in a big way! We finally have a set of stitched letters, numbers and symbols dies for you! We call these Mixed & Stitched: Alphabet & Numbers Dies Sets. Stitched, well, because they have our terrific, signature stitching detail. Mixed because the alphabet includes lower and upper case letters which can be mixed and matched throughout the set and your projects for a quirky, fun and unique look. We'll show you this a little more in just a bit with some projects from our designers.

Rat Race is a cute little set featuring a maze focal image and fun supporting sentiments and images. This set makes great love themed cards and are perfect for every recipient but especially men and children, don't you think? So sweet and cute!

You asked and we listened! Spot On Spring is a follow up to our wildly popular Spot On stamp set featuring more of our oversized, individual greetings and new and trendy spots done in a floral theme. You'll have fun mixing and matching these sets together to create fun new greetings. This set also coordinates with our Connected Circles Die and Darling Diamonds Stamp Set! It's SUCH an awesome collection! It's a must have! Seriously, the font of these greetings makes me drool a little and I never tire of it!

A beautiful set of flower dies especially designed for Spring. They have a bit of a jonquil look, don't you think? Spring Flowers Die Set contains a set of two flowers, two flower centers and two leaves WHICH can also double as stitched Easter eggs. We designed them that way adding lots of versatility and more bang for your buck! The unique stitching make these just awesome!

You will never need another Spring themed sentiment stamp set! Karen Baker did an amazing job with our brand new Spring Sentiments Stamp Set! While it's primary purpose is Spring greetings there are sentiments in there with a love theme, inspiration and MORE! This is a MUST HAVE set!

And last but certainly not least is our brand new set of Stitched Butterflies featuring Lil' Inker Designs' invention, our EXCLUSIVE Dual Stitching Design. It's like getting two die sets in one! So, not only will this set cut our gorgeous stitched butterflies but the negative cut will have a stitching detail around it as well giving a decorative use and additional function to your negative cuts! We think it's pretty awesome and we've been designing dies like this since the Summer of 2013 when we first launched our Stitched Mats: Circles Die Set featuring this clever idea.

If you look closely toward the bottom of the graphic you will notice that we've included a stitched butterfly trail. It's a die that will make your butterflies look like they're in flight! BUT, we've designed this in such a way that it can also be used as the "hop" of your bunnies in our Bunnies & Bows Die Set. How cool is that?

Would you like to see some projects?? I made what feels like a ton of things so it's going to be hard for me to pick and choose which to share with you for today. Let's see............

Here's a little something I made with our adorable new Rat Race Stamp Set! Notice how I was inspired by our new logo colors when I made this card? I love the playful fonts in this set! Also featured here is a heart from our Of the Heart Die.

This might be my favorite of the projects I made for this release! It features our brand new Bunnies & Bows Die Set and Spring Sentiments Stamp Set as well as our previously released Anytime Tags Die Set. It was super easy to make and I got out my Grammy's vintage pinking shears to make the grass.

Another favorite of mine is this card featuring our new Spring Flowers Die Set and Spring Sentiments Stamp Set. Here I just cut these cute little flowers from yellow cardstock and the centers from white cardstock. I embellished the centers by coloring them with a Copic marker and adding white dots. I then added in my stems and petals with this awesome light green vellum and gave the project a little more visual interest by folding up the petals of my smaller flower.

Soooooo - what do you think of our new goodies??

I am loving everything!! I know. I know. I'm supposed to say that, right? HA! But I think it's obvious how much I really DO love these goodies because I just couldn't stop crafting!!! And I still have more ideas that I'd like to try and am sketching out so I've found myself super inspired by these. I wouldn't have anything to do with this loooooooog New England Winter and playing with warmer weather goodies! Seriously, I'm over Winter and ready for WARMTH!! As I'm typing this, we're facing record breaking cold temps for today in Massachusetts and possibly 12 inches of snow tomorrow. Bunnies and flowers. Bunnies and flowers. Bunnies and flowers!!! :)

So, before I let you go we ended up saying goodbye to a long time Design Team Member last month's who's work I truly admired. Alicia Thelin had been part of our team since the very beginning in 2011. She is already missed! I enjoyed having Alicia on our team so very much and it's left a spot open for someone who has some PREEETY BIG SHOES TO FILL! So while I am sad to say goodbye and thanks a million to Alicia I am delighted as well to say we do have a new member joining us and today begins her first release with Lil' Inker Designs.

Not that very long ago I posted a wee little blurb on our Facebook page about looking for a Director of Social Media. Believe it or not Erin was the first to apply and I was instantly impressed as I was with almost ALL of the applicants that applied. Holy MOLY! Thank you for the outpouring of emails!! It's been a pleasure working with Erin so far and we are delighted to have her on our team as a Designer as well as having her run the social media show! WELCOME, ERIN!!
