December New Release Blog Hop Day 2

Hello, Crafty Friends!

Welcome back to the Lil' Inker Designs Blog for Day 2 of our December Release Blog Hop!!

Here once again is a look at everything we released in the store this week.

Cozy Plaid Stamps is really like three stamp sets in one. First, you get the A2 sized Buffalo Check Plaid Stamp which is a quick and easy way to add this pattern to your entire card front with ease. Then, you get the Hugs word stamp and adorable phrases. I thought hugs was perfect to combine with plaid. You also get the scribbled lines stamp seen at the bottom and it literally makes the best plaid EVERRRRR!!!!! You have to have it. I can't stop using it!

We also gave you a Hugs Word Die Set featuring not just the hugs word die cut but also a background piece or halo for the word too which I am loving.

We also have our new Good Cheer Stamps and Dies for you which were entirely hand illustrated for Lil' Inker Designs. It doesn't get cuter than penguins having a snowball fight or drinking cocoa (or coffee) in the snow!

Next up, is our Cover Up Die Buffalo Plaid. If you love plaid like I do this die is a must have. It stitches and cuts to make a delightful plaid that you will love layering with your favorite card stock colors!

Our Comfy Cocoa Stamps are the perfect companion for our Coffee Talk 2 Die Set (coffee mug die set). All of the sentiments in the set stamp to fit right on the mug in our Coffee Talk 2 Die Set. We've given you a couple of fun extras here too like the build a deer and build a snowman stamps and even a peppermint stick - the prettiest little cocoa accessory!!! Make sure to stop by our website to see the project gallery for this stamp set. It's filled with inspiration!

Our new Comfy Cocoa Die Set is quite literally the cream on top and will turn your coffee mug into a hot, chocolatey cup of cocoa. It contains a die to cut out the peppermint stick stamp, a single marshmallow die, mini marshmallows and a whipped topping. Love love love this!!!

Would you like to see some projects? Ok, be prepared for the weirdest photos I've ever taken. What I mean is, they look like black and white photos and they're not. My tags are the prettiest grey stamped with the scribble lines from the Cozy Plaid Stamps and topped with our Snowflake Dies. It's funny how they read like black and white photos here. I couldn't retake them because I'd already tied them onto my gifts. Have a look.

Also featured here are our Anytime Tags Dies and Merry Christmas Word Die. I made these to coordinate with the grey, flannel pillows I purchased as gifts from Pier 1.

I wrapped them with clear wrapping and tied on the tags. They look so so pretty and I can't wait to hand them out.

I bought six pillows in all, so here are two more tags that will adorn pillows but done in a different style.

I used the same Anytime Tags and stamped them in grey with the Buffalo Plaid Stamp in the Cozy Plaid Stamp Set. I used a sentiment from the Comfy Cocoa Stamps and also featured here is our Mitten Shaker Die Set and Ready, Set, Snow Stamps. I love how these ones turned out too!!

I hope you like everything I made to share with you today as well the items in our new release. How about a chance at winning one of everything for yourself?

We are giving away everything in this release to one winner!!!!

December New Release Blog Hop Day 1

Hieeeeee!!!! Welcome to our December New Release Blog Hop Day 1!!!!

We have a small but mighty release to share with you filled with stamps and dies that are all warm and cozy. Ready for a look?

First up is our new Comfy Cocoa Stamp Set.

This is a large, 6x8 set filled with sentiments with a cocoa and Winter theme. Each of the sentiments is designed to stamp onto the mug in our previously released Coffee Talk 2 Die Set. It also contains two really cute multi-stamp images which create an adorable deer and snowman. We also included a couple of snowflakes and a peppermint stick. They're they perfect images to turn our coffee mug into one filled with delicious hot cocoa. However, our cocoa wouldn't be complete without the following die set.

Introducing our Comfy Cocoa Die Set!

This die set contains a whipped topping, marshmallow topping, and single marshmallow die. Together with our new Comfy Cocoa Stamps, you WILL turn that coffee mug into the cutest cocoa ever. Also seen here is a die that will cut out the peppermint stick image - the prettiest cocoa accessory.

Next up is our Cover Up Die Buffalo Plaid. If you love plaid or check plaid this is the background die for you! This die will cut and stitch a pattern that suggests a check plaid. You bring it to life either by layering a second piece of cardstock underneath this or you can cut this again from a second color of paper and mix and match the pieces that cut away. Make sure to have a look at this product in our store so you can see all of the creations our team made with it.

Hands down, our new Cozy Plaid Stamps are a MUST HAVE! First, we've given you a full, A2 sized buffalo check plaid stamp which will cover your card fronts with ease. Included in the set is also a hugs word stamp and coordinating sentiments that are both fun and useful for cardmaking occasions. This set also includes the most amazing stamp of wavy lines and it can be used to make the most delicious plaid ever. I was inspired by a wallpaper I saw Joanna Gaines use on Fixer Upper! HA!!

Here we have a terrific Hugs Word Die Set which contains both the word and, what I like to call, a halo or background piece for the word. It was designed to coordinate with the phrases in the Cozy Plaid Stamp set adding even more versatility to these supplies. This die stands on its own and doesn't cut out the hugs word stamp in the set.

Up next is our Good Cheer Stamp Set!

This is a delightful little 4x4 stamp set featuring three cutie penguins and a snowman that were all hand drawn for Lil' Inker. These penguins are all dressed for winter and are having a snowball fight! Or, they can be drinking cocoa (or coffee, depending on your preference) as we've included two little mugs in the set. Also featured here is a grouping of snowflakes and a star, some of which can be stamped onto the mugs. We also have a group of three hand illustrated sentiments that are perfect for these images and so much more. I think you're going to really enjoy having this set in your collection.

Of course, we've created a set of coordinating Good Cheer Dies which will help you cut out the images in the set with precision and ease.

And that's all she wrote! A smaller release but one I really wanted to share with you now. Are you ready for some projects?

I think I'll start with my penguins first from the Good Cheer Stamps.

I started by buffing some ink onto a piece of white cardstock and when I was finished I die cut the piece I made with our Embossed Dots Tags and if you didn't know, this is my FAVORITE TAG DIE SET IN OUR ENTIRE COLLECTION!!!!  Love it! I reach for it over and over again!!!!

Then, I stamped, colored and die cut my penguins with their coordinating Good Cheer Dies and arranged them to be outside having a snowball fight. The bed of snow you see was made using one of the border dies from my Border Builders Die Set. Then, I stamped my greeting right onto my tag, added some ribbon and twine and this cute little tag was complete.

I have one more project to share with you using this set together with some other goodies.

This time, I started with a baby blue card base which I stamped with blue ink using the scribbled lines from the Cozy Plaid Stamps and I made this terrific background. I. AM. OBSESSED. with this stamp and I can't stop using it!!!!!! Once my background was completed, I created a backdrop for the little snowman I had colored. How cute is he by the way? I did more ink blending and Border Builders Dies made my bed of snow again. In the background, you'll see I stamped some trees in white craft ink. They're from my Rustic Christmas Stamp Set. Then, I reached for a tiny greeting in our Holly Jolly Stamps to finish this off.

One more project for you today and I love it! I hope you do too!

I started with red cardstock and stamped it with the buffalo plaid stamp from the Cozy Plaid Stamp Set in black ink. I added this piece to a white card base somewhat offset as you can see from the picture. Then, I used my Hugs Word Die Set. I cut the word in white and added it to foam for dimension. I cut the hugs base from cork paper to give it a rustic look. I added some velvet holly leaves and a button with some jute twine for a fun, holiday detail. The leaves are literally from my craft drawer and I've had them for at least 15 years. I finished off my greeting using a phrase from the Jolly & Joyful Stamp Set. I love how this turned out!!!

I hope you like everything I made to share with you today as well the items in our new release. I wonder, would you be interested in receiving these items for yourself?

We are giving away everything in this release to one winner!!!!

All you have to do to be eligible to win is leave comments for our design team on our new release posts these next three days. We'll pick one winner right from the comments which should be left by December 19th, 11:30 PM EST.

You Made It Monday, Vol. 55

It's time for another You Made It Monday and I can hardly wait to share the amazing creations I have spotted while looking for all that you have shared online for us to enjoy.  You guys made it hard for me this month and it sure seems like more and more of you are sharing your awesome creations which I love.  Keep it up!  We hope you enjoy our monthly You Made It Monday post as much as we enjoy sharing it with you.  So, keep sharing your creations and they could earn you $10 to spend in the Lil' Inker Designs shop.  We hope that will keep you creating with our products and keep you sharing your creations.

Here's this month's sampling of awesome creations!

It is time to show off some amazing Christmas creations that I spotted around the internet this past month.  I just know these will inspire you.

First up, I had a hard time choosing just one creation from Eriko, @eriko1202.  So make sure you go check out here Instagram feed for more lovely cards!

I just couldn't resist sharing this gorgeous shaker created with our Dual Stitched Christmas Tree Dies.  I love the soft color combo and how Eriko stamped the inside of the shaker with images from Filled Christmas Tree Stamps.  It's a simple but eye catching design that I just loved seeing.  Thanks so much for sharing!
Christmas is a time for nostalgia and Lindsey, @lindseym_p, made me smile with her use of some of our earlier products on this tag.

I just love how she created a tag using the Instant Camera Die! I just couldn't resist the snowy scene and the Jingle Bell replacing the "o" in "Joy" was just too much fun.  Love this, Lindsey!

I do not hide my love for this next featured product and I can't let you miss out on this gorgeous card from @runaji.

How gorgeous is that background?  I was floored when I saw the combo of that background with the cold embossed images from Rustic Christmas Stamps and the bear so perfectly colored and eye catching.  I just love it with all it's shine and subtle color.  Perfection!

Who doesn't need an idea for a simple and quick Christmas card?  Aileen, @huh_what_pardon, has you covered.

I can't help but love a product that makes a card so easy to create and our Boxed Up Greeting Dies are the perfect fit for simple and quick.  I just love how Aileen combined the Merry & Bright Holiday Greeting Die with a fancy background to make it elegant and simple.  Trimming it to layer on a the card front is just one of the ways this awesome product can be used.  So lovely!

This final card comes to us from Patricia, @scrapflower, and it is perfectly colored!

I love the colors on this gorgeous card.  It is so unique and has such a fun vintage feel to it.  Patricia really made our Season's Greetings Stamps shine as the star of this card.  The animals in this set are so fun to play with and color and I'm still amazed every time I see a customer do something new and different with the set.  Fabulous!

We hope you enjoyed this glimpse of the amazing creations you guys are sharing using the Lil' Inker Designs products.  I can't wait to see what else I discover in the week's to come and have the pleasure of sharing them with you on our next addition of You Made It Monday.
