Hi there, crafty friends! Laura here and I'm very excited to be able to share with you today our June New Release items! Who's ready to hop??
That's right! Our Design Team has been hard at work behind the scenes to bring you inspiring projects made with all of our new goodies and for hopping along with all of us and leaving comments along your way we're offering you a BIG prize! Read on for more info about that later.
This hop is especially exciting for me because it's my first since my big surgery last month. I can hardly believe it's been FIVE weeks since. There were some bumps in the road for sure but my husband is awesome and he helped me so much with everything here at the house including helping me pull down inventory for your orders. Thank you to all of you and for your messages of well wishes and a speedy recovery. They were wonderful to read. I'm so glad to be back at it and feeling like myself again!!
Let's have a look at everything that is new to our store this week. I'll also include some highlights and information on using these items with each graphic.
First up is a new set of Word Tag Dies to add to our popular existing collection. You've been asking for Baby themed ones and here they are! This is a larger set than we've previously done containing 4 word tags; sweet, baby, boy, girl. These are so fun to tie onto card fronts and gifts and are easy to tie on too because of the built in hang hole on each one. This can also be easily snipped off and these can be used as die cut words as well. Lots of fun and versatility here!
In keeping with the baby theme, here we've designed a
Baby Onesie Shaker Die Set for you. It's so cute!!!! And this one really does a whole lot more than just make a shaker so let me explain all that for you. The largest two dies can be used together to make your shaker frame layer. The largest onesie can also be used entirely on it's on either to make a onesie tag or focal image for a card. OR you can use this die to cut a onesie "window" in your card base.
The second largest die in the set can also be turn into a baby diaper die cut! See the score line in the center there? Fold on that spot and poof you have a cute little diaper. I felt this set wouldn't be complete without a safety pin so I included these cute pieces as well and also included a mini baby onesie. This die set can do a bajillion different things!!!
Of course, we had to give you a cute stamp set to go along with your Onesie Shaker and we've done just that with our
Little One Stamps which contains sweet baby greetings. Most sentiments will stamp to fit onto your large onesie die cut too! Love the greetings here.
I'm obsessed with plaid lately and I really wanted to add a plaid cover up die to our collection and truthfully this is AMAZING and can be used so many different ways.
Cover Up Die Perfectly Plaid was designed to be LAYERED!!!! YES!!! So, cut this panel once from, say, yellow paper and then again from kraft paper. Layer them together by turning one of the colors around and now you have a multicolor plaid! We designed this specifically so that both colors will peek through. Add this over a third color of card base and you have a perfect plaid!!
I just wasn't done with coffee! Have a look!
We needed a coffee MUG!!!! I've been wanting one for SO LONG and it just seemed to be fitting with our existing collection of coffee-themed stamps and dies. With our
Coffee Talk 2 Die Set you'll get a sleek mug perfectly oversized for card fronts. The center of the mug, where the coffee would be, cuts away so it can be replaced with a coffee colored piece to look as though it was filled. I threw in a cute and fun little spoon and two different types of steam swirls as well. It pairs PERFECTLY with our next item.
Our
Coffee Talk 2 Stamp Set is a large 6x8 set filled with coffee themed sentiments which all stamp to fit on our new Coffee Talk 2 mug. Each sentiment is hand illustrated and can be used for loads of different cards. I LOVE THIS SET SO MUCH.
I think you're going to love this next grouping of items. First up, our new
Cat Hugs Stamps. This adorable crowd of cats is sure to make anyone smile! It's exactly 5.50" wide so it's perfectly sized for A2 cards. To make this extra special, we've designed a bunch of different accessories stamps that the cats can hold in their little paws and we've given you loads of sentiments that fit the theme of the accessories in many ways. For example, you might stamp and color your image and decide to use the sentiment "these are fur you" and have you cats all "hold" bouquets of flowers. "Cute, but what does she mean "hold", you say? Have a look at the next item.
This is our
Cat Hugs Die Set and it's truly a set of three differently purposed dies: one set of dies which cut out our accessories stamps, one border die that cuts along the top edge of our crowd of cats cutting them out from the paper you stamped them on. But my favorite die is the third one. Layer it over your stamped image and cut and it will cut all around the cat's paws only. This is how the cats can hold their accessories. And you'll notice that each accessory is done in two different sizes so that each cat, depending on its size, can hold one.
So, stamp out and die cut a bunch of little donuts and coffee and use the third die to cut the cat's paws and then have them hold their donuts and coffee!!! Eeeek!!! I love this!!!
IMPORTANT: You should also know that the border cut to cut along the top of the cat's heads AND the die to cut around the paws can be left wired together as one die. Leaving it so, you can cut out your image and the paws all with one pass through your cutting machine. You'll see on the paws die that there are MUCH thicker lines of metal connecting the cut pieces indicating that these pieces are meant to stay together.
I think you're going to have so much fun creating with this set.
Ummmmmmm, this is a die that has been on my to do list literally forever. Ever since we released our original Coffee Cozy Die waaaaayyyyyy back in the day. Why didn't we get to it until now? I knew it was going to have to be large and I knew I wanted to make it the most simplified design for you to use and here we've done that.
The main largest die holds your gift card when folded up. Then add your lid in any color with some adhesive. Wrap everything up to hold closed with this cute stitched coffee cozy die and some adhesive on the built in tab. DONE! It's so easy but it's literally the cutest thing of all time. Then, have a blast decorating this for your recipient.

Last but certainly NOT least are our new
Perky Posies Dies XL! XL because they are large and in charge but perfectly oversized for card making in my opinion. They also coordinate with one of our most popular flower die sets - the original Perky Posies Dies. You'll receive four different blooms, two different flower centers and one leaf. You'll love mixing and matching these together. They're super fun and I really love them!!!!!

Here are a couple of projects I made to share with you today.
I'm going to start with this card I made with lots of our new things. Love love love this coffee mug. See how perfectly size it is and how nicely it fits that greeting? How fun is this? What also really pops here is my
Cover Up Die Perfectly Plaid background. Here I've used my die to cut it twice; once in white and once in kraft. By turning the kraft piece around they layer together perfectly. I added in a yellow card base to coordinate with my focal image and creating this pretty tricolored plaid.
I really wanted to show you what the
Cat Hugs stuff can do so I really wanted to share this card with you today. Here I stamped the cat crowd right onto a white card base and then simply colored the cats by adding a little flush to their kitty cheeks and just little bits of color where needed. I also did a little shading to make them pop. Then, I stamped a bunch of coffee cups, 15 to be exact, and I colored them up very quickly and then die cut them two at a time using both the large and small dies that coordinate with the images.
Then, using only the die that cuts around the cat's paws I made a cut and that's how I got all of the cat's to actually hold their coffee. I paired this with the love you more than coffee sentiment and it's puurrfect!!! I LOVE THIS STAMP AND DIE SET!!!!!
