Hello again!! I'm back for Day 2 of our New Release Blog Hop!
The only other thing as exciting as a new release is a SALE!!
Before I get to the new release, we're having a sale this week through Wednesday to celebrate reaching 5000 followers on Instagram as a way of saying thank you and yahooooo!!!!
Everything in store is 10% off with the exception of our new September Release items. Just be sure to use the code 5KFRIENDS at checkout and keep in mind the sale is in Eastern Standard Time through Wednesday, 9/13.
Let's get to looking again at this FABULOUS new release, but if this is your first day hopping make sure to go back and read my Day 1 Post. Thanks!! I'll post some of the finer points of these new items below for you. Here goes....
FaBooLous Stamps are just that - FABULOUS!!! I love that they are all hand lettered and each fit to stamp on our new
Ghost Shaker Die seen below. The cute little extras in the set stamp to fit inside the natural breaks in the sentiments so you can customize them for a unique look. We've also included three faces stamps which not only coordinate with the Ghost Shaker but can be used with our
Seen On Halloween Pumpkins or even on our
Stitched Ghosts Dies. Lots of possibilities here!
I designed our Y
ou've Been Booed Set specifically with neighborhood ghosting in mind. Now you can hand make a tag or card that says you've been booed and in the coolest way using these individually stampable letters each with a spooky theme. This set is a real value as it include the letter dies as well.
Our
Quilted Stitched Harlequin Die is really lovely. It creates this shadowy, Ikat-like design into you card fronts. TIP: for the best results run this one back and forth a few times through your die cutting machine. It just requires a little more elbow grease than others in this collection because the cuts are so intricate. So pretty and perfect for Halloween or Autumn themed cards!
Oh my WORD! I love this
Eat Pie Stamp Set. We designed this with Thanksgiving in mind of course given this rockin' turkey. But with ease can be used as a set for Fall or just an Autumn themed thank you card. Many of the stamps in this set are multi-step or two-step stamps. HERE is a link to a stamp and die index I created for you in case you need a reference on which stamps stamp together.
The best tip I can give you when working with these stamps especially when working with the turkey, sign and squirrel is to stamp one part first like the turkey. Then, die cut him out and then stamp in the feathers individually letter the die cut serve as a guide to feather placement. Same is true in the case of the sign. Stamp one of the two elements first, then line up and die cut and then stamp in the other part. This is truly the perfectionist in me talking. If you're not as Type-A as I am (LOL), then just do your thing! HA!!!
Here is the coordinating
Eat Pie Die Set. I couldn't possibly recommend this die set to you enough if you're purchasing the stamps. These really do go hand in hand!
Super duper excited about our
Snarky Shadow Thanks stamp and Die Set and because it's so small and we have some other real "heavy hitters" in this release I hope it doesn't fall by the wayside because it is awesome!!!!! The solid thanks stamp has a coordinating shadow to stamp with it making this really jump off the page. We've also included a die with this set to cut out the thanks word making this a real value! Of course, we've included some fun phrases to pair with the word thanks we think you'll enjoy and find fun!

So, we decided to release a third in the collection with a square, twig wreath and more Fall feeling flowers and with a thank you theme called
Thankful Thoughts Stamps. Do you love it?
Here is the coordinating
Thankful Thoughts Die Set. Consider it even if you don't purchase the stamps because the wreath and banner are AWESOME and can pair potentially with other florals you already have in your collection but really come to life with their coordinating stamps.
Another fabulous word die has been added to our collection. Use it on its own or with the above goodies! It's perfect!
I hope you love everything new in store! We also just restocked these stamps which we haven't had for a very long time. They're super cute and fun. Have a look!
And who can forget about our really awesome
Spiderweb Greeting Die that I tweaked for this year.
Here's a project I made with it. Love this die! Now the word dies are both separate and can be used for loads of other crafting and this change leaves the bottom of the die solid for sentiment stamping! Yes!
How about more projects?
Then, I got to playing with the squirrel and other accessories in the set and I let the sign / fence post carry my greeting. I used all Fresh Inks here for stamping which have taken over my craft room! My dye inks are stored away and I haven't reached for them in ages. There's no reason to. These pigments inks are the bomb!
More playing with
Eat Pie Stamps and
Dies here focusing on, you guessed it, the turkey!!!! I got the cutest email today right as I set out to write up this blog post. It was from a customer....I'll let you read it....
"Just had to comment on that turkey stamp of yours.
As I was opening the site I was humming the tune “Staying Alive” and with giggles I say that turkey and to me he looks like he’s doing the dance.
Thanks for the smiles…it’s the little things that can make a day and your turkey started mine out with grins."
To which I replied, "You just totally made my day!!! Come to think of it Turkey does look like he's doing the Travolta!!! Haaaa!!!
Thank you for making me smile today too!"
What better a way than to start the day with an awesome email like that! Thank you, my friend!
This turkey is STAYIN' ALIVE!! LOL!!! To create him, I stamped his body first, then die cut him and then I stamped in all his feathers letting the die cut sort of dictate where everything goes. It's so much easier that way and it's more fun to be able to make him colorful! I then used our Triangle Treat Holder Die to make this pyramid shaped box. I forgot how much I love that die! Then, using the banner from the Thankful Thoughts Die Set I added in my sentiment which happens to be from the Reap A Harvest Stamp Set which TOTES works here and, by the way, is a rockin' set for Fall too!
And last but certainly not least here is a colorful and fun project I made using our new
Snarky Shadow Thanks Stamps and Die Set. This was truly easy to make! I used all Fresh Inks and just got stamping! When I was happy with my colors, I added in a phrase from the set to complete the greeting which I heat embossed. So fun, right?!
OH, I had the BEST time crafting for this release. I think it's because I was able to start so far in advance so I could truly just craft to my heart's content and just when I thought I was done I made something else!
