September New Release Hop Day 1

Welcome to our September New Release Hop! We have so many new products for Fall, Halloween and giving thanks..for any time of the year!

Before we get to the new products, I'm proud to say that Lil' Inker Designs just reached 5000 Followers on Instagram and in celebration of that milestone we're having a SALE! Here are the details for you!! It's a great time to shop with us!

Place an order now through 9/13 EST, use the code 5KFRIENDS at checkout and you'll get 10% off your order with the exception of the new September Release items! Yahoooo!
Thank you so much for supporting my small business and for your support on Instagram!

Ok, let's get right to the new items in the store today. Also, you can CLICK HERE to see everything new in the store.

It's a great time of the year to express thanks but this set is so versatile it can be used all year long.Stamp the solid thanks word and then it's coordinating shadow stamp to accent it. Experiment with different colored ink combos and make it really unique. This set include the stamps AND the die that cuts out the thanks word. This die can be used with or without the shadow stamp. Such a fun one!

This is a wonderful Fall and Autumn themed follow up set to our really popular Warm Welcome Stamps and Sweet Celebration Stamps. The thankful/give thanks theme makes this set unique to the collection as does the square twig wreath. This set says thank you for lots of occasions and purposes. You'll love playing with all the different florals in this set for just the right look!

This is the coordinating Thankful Thoughts Die Set to the Thankful Thoughts Stamps. It will perfectly cut out the florals and accents in the stamp set. The wreath die is a standalone die and is not meant to coordinate with the stamp in the set, just FYI. Also included is a wavy banner which fits perfectly across the wreath to add a sentiment. This might be my favorite wreath shape of the three sets we now have in our collection that are on the same idea. It lends itself to such a rustic look!

Our Thankful Word Die is perfect on its own on any card of paper crafter project of course, but it really comes to life when paired with our Thankful Thoughts Stamps and Dies as it's sized perfectly to fit over the square wreath and banner. If you add Thankful Thoughts to your collection you've GOT to add this die as well. It's just about the same size as the thankful word stamp in the collection.

I'm really excited about this stamp set. Truth be told, I started working on this set for last year's release and ran out of time. I remembered it as I was designing for this year and I'm so glad I did because it's SO SO FUN!!!! This is a set perfect for Thanksgiving but really translates to Fall and Autumn themed cards especially if you decide to work with this cutie squirrel and the other images in the set. The two images you see on the bottom left stamp to make a fence or sign. All three of the small greetings in the set stamp to fit on any or all of the sign's posts.
I really love love this sassy little turkey! Each of his feathers are meant to be stamped in individually so that you can mix and match colors of your choice.
TIP: I recommend stamping the turkey's body first then die cutting him out. Then, stamp in his feathers. After some experimentation I've found that doing it this way gives you the best results because the die can be used as a guide for stamping.
CLICK HERE to see the stamp and die index I created for this set which can be printed and saved with these stamps for reference any time.

This is the coordinating Eat Pie Die Set to the Eat Pie Stamps. I really recommend that you order this die set if you're ordering the stamps because it's really handy for the turkey and the sign in the set especially.

This is a lovely addition to our Quilted Stitched and Cover Up Dies collections. This die cuts a really cool pattern into your card base that is shadowy looking and almost Ikat-inspired. I added it to this release because I thought it was the perfect backdrop for all of our Fall and Autumn cards but of course is perfect for anything you're working on.

Oh, how cute is this set? Our A Haunting We Will Go Stamps were hand illustrated just for you and seriously, couldn't be any cuter! I'm very excited about this set because we've not ever done a "critters" or "characters" set for Halloween. These animals are dressed up and ready to trick or treat and are the perfect size to color!

This is our A Haunting We Will Go Die Set which perfectly coordinates with the stamps of the same name. It cuts out the main images in the set perfectly and with ease.

Ok, this is a MUST HAVE! It's the second release in our Shaker Die collection. The first being our Apple Shaker Die. This makes an AWESOME shaker for Halloween but our shaker dies are clever designed so that it can do more than just make a shaker! Each of the ghost shapes seen here can be used separately as actual ghost dies for any of your Halloween paper crafting. The faces dies you see can be used on either of the ghost dies included in the set. See the stamps below which are sized perfectly to fit on the larger ghost in the die set.

I am in LOVE with this hand illustrated stamp set for Halloween which we designed to specifically coordinate with our Ghost Shaker Die Set in mind as each of the sentiments stamp to fit perfectly on the larger ghost die in the set. But these stamps are so fantastic that they can be used for any of your Halloween crafting! I especially love the lashes stamp and the cute faces we've included. Don't overlook the tiny stamps in this set either. They can be added in to fill in the natural breaks in the sentiments. To see what I mean definitely check out the project gallery for this set. Love love love love LOVE THIS!!!!

Do you do "Ghosting" in your neighborhood or "You've Been Booed"? I designed this stamp set specifically to create fun tags and small greeting cards for that purpose. You can read more about this fun Halloween tradition HERE

Each of the letters in this set can be stamped to create the word BOO and each of the letters has its own spooky theme or image. The letters stamp separately so that you can mix and match your ink colors, which I happen to love doing. Also included in this set are letter dies B and O so that each of the letters can be die cut out if you so wish. The coordinating phrases in the set are useful as well and can be used with so many of your other Halloween crafting supplies.

Love what you see here? ME TOO!!!

Let me show you some of the projects I've made with some of these new supplies.

I'll start with our new A Haunting We Will Go Stamps and Dies because I love it so! Above, I did some basic masking with these critters in order to create a crowd of trick-or-treaters. I colored them simply with my Zigs and used some of the smaller or accessories stamps in the set to create my background. The group has been die cut with my Wonky Rectangles Dies. I had fun making this. Who can resist these fun little guys?

I used this set again to create a trio of cards leaving the images in black and white which I die cut out and popped up on foam dots. I did some sponging and added in some decorative paper to complete this set.

Here's a closer look at our literally fabulous FaBooLous Stamps. I made each of the sentiments in the set into a tag using our Tombstone Peek a Boo Die. See how I stamped in the smaller images in the set in different colors into the spaces? Love that option! I even used some masking here to change the colors of the words in a few of the greetings.

For some simple and fast treats, I wrapped up some Halloween Tic Tacs in baggies and tied on these cute tags. I hope you like them!

Here is a ghost shaker piece I made with my Ghost Shaker Die Set. Isn't this the cutest? I started by cutting BOTH ghosts at the same time and twice: once from white card stock and once from double sided foam. Then, I die cut the largest ghost die twice; once from white card stock and once from clear acetate. It was super easy to make! I haven't completed a project with this guy yet but I thought it was too cute not to photo and share.

Interested in winning everything we released today?

As you hop today, leave some love for our Design Team along your way and we'll pick one lucky winner to win EVERYTHING!! Here is a list of everyone participating in this hop today:

Laura Pryor/LID Store Blog << --- You are here

Now, before I let you go, I have a couple of announcements.

We have just brought back all of the following stamps in limited quantities and they are AWESOME and we haven't had them in the store in many years now. I hope you love them! Each one is a 3x4 Size and $10. The sentiments and the images are just terrific for any stamper's collection!

Also, we made a small but important tweak to our Spiderweb Greeting Die and restocked them for this season. Have a look...

Now, each of the word dies in the set are separate dies. This tweak leaves the bottom part of the die cut solid and plain for any sentiment you wish to stamp there which adds to the versatility of this die.
Here's an example I made using this newly tweaked die.

All of the above re-released stamps and Spiderweb Greeting Die are included as items eligible for our 10% off sale. WOOT!

It's a GREAT time to shop!!!! Again, 10% off everything in your order with the exception on our new September Release stamps and dies.

I hope you enjoyed my post today! Thank you for spending some of your day with me today. On you go now to hop! Don't forget to comment to be eligible to win our huge prize!

Have an awesome day!

It's time for another You Made It Monday!  We are super excited to share some more amazing creations that you, our customers, have created and shared with us online.  You Made It Monday is now a monthly feature and there are prizes!!!  That's right!  If you're featured in our You Made It Monday post you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs!  Isn't that awesome??

You know how much we love seeing what you create with the products in the Lil' Inker Designs store.  You never cease to amaze us with your talent and creativity. Here is just a sampling of the awesome creations you have shared with us lately.

I just couldn't wait to share this awesome birthday card for dad from Samantha, @mylittlepaperworld.

The ombre on this card is amazing and I love how Samantha used the engine in Clean Lines: For the Guys Stamps to create the amazing background and kept it going on the amazingly inked Dad Word Die.  It's a card that would be awesome redone for any man in your life.  I just love it, Samantha!

Next up, with back to school in full swing, I just couldn't resist sharing this card from Tina, @riddlet.

Don't you just love how Tina created the perfect backdrop for her Apple Shaker Die by layering a ledger type paper with the number paper?  I love the bold colors and that touch of twine.  The sentiment from Apple of My Eye Stamps will make this an A+ in any teacher's book!  Thanks for sharing, Tina!

This card by Wanda, @cullenwr, is Dino-MITE!!!

The colors on this card just make me smile.  Wanda really made the most adorable scene with our Hello Dino Stamps and Hello Dino Dies.  The palm tree and the little grass and bush elements are so perfect to ground everything and the softly inked clouds from Rainbows & Clouds Die Set, are simply perfect!

I apologize in advance if this card from Laurie, @crazycardlady, takes your breath away.

There was no scrolling past this gorgeous card.  The Cover Up Die: Stitched Quatrefoil is already gorgeous on it's own but paired with this wonderfully colored Modern Mandala Stamps, it's out of this world.  I just love the colors Laurie chose and her use of the Modern Mandala Dies to frame the sentiment...perfection!

The final card today is another show stopper and comes to us from Tonay, @m3yergirl.

I just love how cheery this card is...you can't help but smile when you look at it.  Tonya really made me smile with her use of the Wreath of Roses Stamps and Wreath of Roses Dies.  It's amazing how the soft colors of the wreath play so well with the bold colors of the background.  The shiny sequins finish it off perfectly.  Gorgeous!

We hope you enjoyed this small glimpse of the amazing creations you guys are sharing using Lil’ Inker Designs products.  I can’t wait to see what else I discover in the weeks to come.  As I mentioned above.  You can expect to see You Made It Mondays on the first Monday of each month, unless it's a new release day, then we'll bump it to the next Monday.
