February Release Hop Day Three

Thank you so much for the awesome feedback you've left for myself and our fabby designers! I'm so happy to read that you're loving our new goodies and they projects we've been making with them!

If you're just joining us today, today is day three of our new release hop and we've got some amazing new goodies for you to add to your collection!

This is a terrific and oh so useful set of rounded stitched tags that can be used on anything anytime! We left the hang hole options to you so that these could be used either as tags or sentiment panels. We LOVE options. You'll love these tags!

The next in our series of similar dies, Cloudy Sky Die cuts a series of clouds which appear to be floating across the sky (or your card front). This die can be used in so many ways! To cut away clouds from your card base or the pieces it cuts can be used on projects too. We even included stitching on some of the larger clouds in this set so that they coordinate with the stitched clouds in our Rainbows & Clouds Die Set (which is currently sold out but will be returning right about 2/12. This die can be used on an A2 card base with either a vertical or horizontal because of the clever way it's designed! We love that this one little die has SO MANY OPTIONS!

Our new Give a Hoot Gift Card Holder Die is a MUST HAVE!  Open up his wings which fold on the score lines to reveal a gift card tucked inside under his beak. You can even add a little ribbon or twine to secure everything together. This die can be glued to a card or used by itself. It's just so cute! And you can even give him a face with lots of expression using the eye pieces we've included. LOVE this little guy!

It's Today, Right?  is a really fun set meant to wish anyone in your life a happy anniversary, say I love you and MORE! We just love the stick figures included in this set. These cuties just make it all come together! You'll love the cute font and simple, but trendy elements included as well.

Stay Beautiful is meant to encourage and inspire and be compassionate. It's perfect for when you need something a little more than a traditional or simple greeting. I think it's a FABULOUS addition to any stampers collection. You'll love the beautifully coordinated fonts and additional stamp images designed to accompany these sentiments.

You asked and we listened! Here is a set of four Dual Stitched Hearts Dies!!! YAYY!!! That's right, these dies cut stitched hearts but leave behind our unique stitching detail around the negative as well. It's like getting two die sets in one! We've done them in a trendy and updated heart shape and you'll notice they coordinate with our Floating Hearts Die which is currently out of stock but will be back on or about 2/12.

How about some projects? Here are a couple of new things I have for you today.

I made this tag using our the largest tag in our new Anytime Tags Set and Stitched Hearts Die Set and I basically just cut the hearts from different colored cardstock and stacked them as you see here. tying off the top with some ribbon. I heat embossed my sentiment on from our Darling Diamonds Stamp Set onto vellum which I laid over the largest heart. I am LOVING our hearts and tags!!!

More Stitched Hearts! This time I cut my hearts from an ombre piece of paper and lined them all up. I Added my sentiment onto the smallest Anytime Tag and you'll notice that I reinforced the hang hole using one of the dies in the set. The sentiment is from our Spot On Stamp Set.

Speaking of which, do you have our Darling Diamonds and Spot On Stamp Sets? The contain some of my FAVORITE FAVORITE sentiments we've EVER DONE!! SERIOUSLY! They are MUST HAVE STAMPS!

Here are the projects I showed you previously over the last two days.

These are some of my most favorite projects ever. They came together so fast and fun with the help of our new goodies.

I hope you're enjoying everything you see!

February New Release Hop Day 2!

Well, hello there! Welcome to day 2 of our new release!

If you're just joining us today, here's a quick recap of what you can expect to see us designing with this week and what's new in the store....

This is a terrific and oh so useful set of rounded stitched tags that can be used on anything anytime! We left the hang hole options to you so that these could be used either as tags or sentiment panels. We LOVE options. You'll love these tags!

Isn't this an eclectic and fun batch of goodies? We think so!!

How about some projects for today?? I have some cards which use our newly released stamp sets! Check em' out!

Here I used the It's Today, Right? stamp set. I stamped the main greeting in rainbow colors on a white panel which I layered over an aqua base and I stamped my little couple holding hands and the sentiment on a stone panel tied with some twine and added some enamel dots.
I just LOVE these little characters! They're such simple little figures but they show such emotion I think! I love how this one turned out. Isn't that a funny saying too. Happy Anniversary. I'm so glad you asked for my number. LOL!!!!

Here I used our gorgeous new Stay Beautiful Stamps along with our Spot On Stamps. Do you own Spot On? You SHOULD! It's one of my FAVE sets of ALL TIME!!! See how nicely the sentiment here from Stay Beautiful worked as a sympathy card?  It's a very versatile stamp set and it coordinated perfectly with the stamps in my Spot On set.

Here I used our new Stitched Hearts dies. This is the largest die seen here and I used the Best. Move. Ever. stamp from our It's Today, Right? set. I love how some of these sentiments just work alone for a love themed card!

So------what do you think?

I don't think I mentioned this yesterday so let me talk about it today. Right now we have a TON of things that are out of stock which will return on or around February 12th. February New Release Hop Day 1

WOOO HOOOOO!!!!! It's HERE!!!!!! Happy day 1 of our new release hop!

We have some awesome new goodies for you! Are you ready?? Let's get right to it!

FINALLY! A set of stitched tags from LID!!!! Woo hoo!!!! Our brand new Anytime Tags are awesome! This is a set of four tags and four separate hang hole dies. We did the hang holes separately so that you can use these not only just as tags but also as sentiment panels! You know we love options! You'll receive two different shapes of hang hole dies as well; ovals and circles. The smaller sized dies are used for the smaller tags. These holes can be reinforced using the die cut pieces from the larger hang hole dies. The larger ones are the hang holes for the larger tags.

The next in our series of similar dies, our Cloudy Sky die is the perfect and easiest way to create a "sky" full of clouds with just one pass through your die cutting machine. You can also use the negative pieces for other projects. Some of the larger clouds are even stitched and coordinate perfectly with the clouds in our Rainbows & Clouds Die Set. This is definitely a fun and useful little die! And because of the way it's designed it can be used across the 4.25" width of an A2 card base or on the longer 5.5" side. We love that we thought of that option for you! :)

Oh. BOY is this die FUN! This is our brand new Give a Hoot Gift Card Holder Die. His little wings open up to reveal the gift card hidden inside! You can add a glue dot to hold your gift card in place but that's totally optional because your card will fit securely under the owl's beak. You can also dress this little guy up with a little twine or ribbon through his wings to keep your gift closed and of course we've included some additional pieces to create his expressive eyes. What I love about this die is that it can be cut from one small sheet of paper and needs only minimal assembly. Of course he's stitched for added fun and detail!

I needed to make a few anniversary cards not that long ago and I realized that we needed a stamp set here at LID for this occasion! I came up with this oversized Happy Anniversary sentiment stamp and smaller supporting sentiments which are cute and even funny and perfect for the love of your life, your parents or even a favorite couple. The best part about this set is not only this casual and fun font but the super cute stick figure couples! WAIT until you stamp with this set. You're going to LOVE it and I bet you'll be wanting more of these little figures in other sets! Just you wait! :)

Stay Beautiful (which I've enlarged so that you can read all the detail included in this set) is meant to encourage and inspire. It's the perfect stamp set for those "i don't know what to say" moments like if someone is going through a difficult time or even if someone just needs a cheerful reminder that they're loved. I love this set and I even found that it worked well for sympathy cards too. I think it's a great addition to your collection of stamps because sometimes you need more than just words.

YESSSSSSSS!!!! FINALLY!!! Here is a set of four heart dies featuring LID's EXCLUSIVE Dual Stitching Detail!! I can hear you cheering :)   These dies are phenoms and are designed specifically to coordinate with the heart shapes featured in our Floating Hearts Die. I happen to this this heart shape is uber modern and trendy. I may, however, be a tad biased, LOL! But either way you'll love them! I think these ones are going to go FAST!

What do you think? Some great goodies here, right?

How about some projects? I just had to share this with you today so you can see how awesome our new Give A Hoot Gift Card Holder is!

Here he is all finished and tied up. I cut his body from sand colored card stock and stamped him with a diamond from our Darling Diamonds Stamp Set. I then cut out his eye pieces from white and yellow card stock and assembled them as shown and completed them with a little stamping instead of just strictly paper. I added his beak in a pumpkin colored card stock also for a little added something and tied him up with purple baker's twine.

See how the card fits neatly under his beak and under the other little flap below? It's a pretty snug fit too although you can add a glue dot to secure your card in place. Right behind where the card sits it a strip of paper not cut away by the die and it can be added there although I've found I've not had to do this.  I had the idea for this die I was trying to think of a completely creative and new way to give a gift card that could be cut from one sheet of paper and only required limited assembly and there is where I ended up! I looooove this trendy little guy! I think you will LOVE using this die to dress up all of your gift cards!

Here I used our new Anytime Tags to cut away a window for a sentiment from our new Stay Beautiful set. I added the stitched detail to my card base with my Stitched Mats: Rectangles and the front is stamped with a funky scallop stamp from our Mom & Dad Sentiments Stamp Set. I heat embossed my sentiment on vellum and added it behind my window. I stamped a heat and added a little rhinestone for a little something extra. Of course I included this  cute little boxing gloves stamp which I colored with Copics, fussy cut and added to my font.

Ok, so since it's day one I'd like to share one more card with you before I send you on your way.

This card features the largest heart from our new Stitched Hearts Die Set but it's created also using our Cover Up Die: Pieced Chevrons. I cut different colors of chevrons and assembled them and then cut the whole thing with my heart die. The sentiment is from our Modern Mehndi set.

Ok, so FUN RELEASE, right?!

Before I send you along, we will be giving away three $15 store credits as prizes from this release! Be sure and leave some comments along the way! We'll be picking one of our DT's blogs as the secret prize blog from which we pick our winners. If you comment on that designer's blog you're chances of winning will skyrocket!!!!!!!

Here's today's hop line up....

Laura/Shop - you are here
Alicia Thelin  - up next!

Be sure to also head over to our store to get your favorites from this release. We do have a lot of previously released products which are currently out of stock. They will return!! I'm expecting to restock 90% of OOS products on or about February 12th. And Modern Mehndi Stamps should be here on or about the same time. Thanks for your patience!

We hope you like everything you see here today! We'll see you tomorrow for day 2!

Pre-Release Sneak Peek!

Gooooood morning, Lil' Inker Friends! Happy weekend!

We're getting ready for our brand new release beginning on Monday, February 3rd!

We're releasing 2 brand new stamp sets, 2 die sets and 2 individual dies! What a haul!

I thought I would stop by and share a quick sneak peek of a couple lil' things we'll be releasing on Monday.! What do you say?

I made my first trip to CHA this year just a few weeks ago. It was an AMAZING time. I hadn't been on a plane in almost 10 years so this was a really big trip for me especially where I traveled alone. I have to say I got a little teary when I first walked into the convention center. I don't know if it hit me that I was across the country or the fact that it was an enormous space filled with crafty goodness and like-minded ladies who love it all just as much as this gal. Whatever the case, the experience was incredible and the best part about it was meeting ALLLLL the people you "know" from the internet and our little crafty world and meet them in real life.

I met Tiffany Johnson in the bathroom, LOL! Of course I was a little starstruck and it took me a minute to realize I was SO INTRUDING on her "me" time away from her busy post at the Faber-Castell booth. We chatted and it was lovely and I gave her one of the stamp sets from our new release!

Tiffany made this card using our brand new "It's Today, Right?" Stamp Set. Make sure you head on over and read her blog post about our meet-cute in the bathroom! LOL!

This is a really cute set focusing on anniversaries! I needed to make an anniversary card not that long ago and I realized that this was a topic sorely lacking here at LID. This set contains one large sentiment and several, adorable and fun supporting sentiments done in a perfect font and contains these cute little figures to go along with everything. I think the images are the BEST part of this set!

I was so excited when I saw this card on Tiffany's blog! It was so cool to see this there. Thanks, Tiffany!

Ok, how about one more lil' thing? Just a snippet, you know, to keep you guessing!

What do you see here? Clue - It's something you've been waiting for!!!!!!!!!

See you VERY SOOOON!!!!!!!! Are you excited? I AM!!!!!!

Don't forget that our hop begins right here on the blog at www.shoplilinker.blogspot.com!

Thanks for stopping by!
