You Made It Monday Vol. 37

It's time for another You Made It Monday!  We are super excited to share some more amazing creations that you, our customers, have created and shared with us online.  You Made It Monday is now a monthly feature and there are prizes!!!  That's right!  If you're featured in our You Made It Monday post you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs!  Isn't that awesome??

You know how much we love seeing what you create with the products in the Lil' Inker Designs store.  You never cease to amaze us with your talent and creativity. Here is just a sampling of the awesome creations you have shared with us lately.

First up is this adorable card from Neha, @nehabhatt.

How cool is this shaker card?  I can't think of a single teacher who wouldn't be blown away and excited to receive this.  I love how Neha created a background in her shaker by using Teacher Talk Stamps.  I love her colors, the sequins she chose, and the finishing touch with the apple cut using Apple Pieces Die Set.  This is perfection!
I found another amazing shaker made by Nance, @tarheelsoulmom.

A graduation cap shaker made using Wonky Squares Dies?  Yes, please!  This is one of the coolest ideas I've seen.  Paired with this sentiment from Grad Class Stamps, it's amazing.  There are so many other amazing Lil' Inker Designs products on this card (Stitched Mats: Dual Stitched Rectangles, Mixed & Stitched Numbers Die Set).  It's a real show stopper!  Thanks, Nance!

I found this amazing creation while looking through the Lil' Inker Designs Flickr account.  It was created by Rosali.

I knew our Corner Adorner stamp set was gorgeous but Rosali made me fall in love all over again!  I love the soft colors and all the special details added.  Plus, who knew a sentiment from Winter Greetings Stamps could work  so perfectly on such a springy card?  Just beautiful!

Another awesome Flickr find is this card from Laurie.

Our Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain is the perfect backdrop for just about anything and Laurie's simple arrangement of her ombre Because Word Die, stamped sentiment from Because Stamps, elements from Fresh Cut Flowers Stamps, and cut using Fresh Cut Flowers Dies, is total perfection!  The few sequins finished it off perfectly.

The final card(s) are simply amazing and I found them on Sarah's blog, The Crafting Life.  It's an adorable blog and a must see!  Just look at these:

Make sure you go check out Sarah's blog because she has another card in this line up and you won't want to miss it.  It's just as adorable as these.  The Hootie Patootie Stamps and Hootie Patootie Dies really make these happy little cards even more special.  I just loved how Sarah layered elements and stenciled the perfect landing spot for a cute owl.

We hope you enjoyed this small glimpse of the amazing creations you guys are sharing using Lil’ Inker Designs products.  I can’t wait to see what else I discover in the weeks to come.  As I mentioned above.  You can expect to see You Made It Mondays on the first Monday of each month, unless it's a new release day, then we'll bump it to the next Monday.

You Made It Monday Vol. 35

It's finally Spring and I couldn't help but share some amazingly springy creations that I found including this adorable card from Laurie, @crazycardlady.

I just love this card and how Laurie used the Fringe Scalloped Circles Dies to frame the adorable bicycle from Rustic Spring Stamps.  The flowers in the basket and the little sprigs of grass are too sweet and I love the ombre look on the Welcome Word Die.  Finished off the with the banner from the Warm Welcome Dies and the cute sparkle from the pink flowers, this card is a breath of fresh air!  Thanks, Laurie.

Next up, I just love this cheery card from Lindsey, @occasionalcrafting.

Why does gingham just feel springy?  I love this background and how Lindsey really made this sentiment from The Little Things Stamps the star of the card by highlighting it with these amazing blooms also from The Little Things Stamps and cut with The Little Things Dies.

This card pops and you can see even more gorgeous cards using these stamps as well as the Hello Beautiful Stamps, Hello Beautiful Dies, and Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain created by The 12 Kits of Occasions Design Team.  Thanks SO much for creating this amazing card, Lindsey, and thanks to the team for featuring our products in February.

Next is a gorgeous card by Keren Baker that I found while wondering the web one day.

In case you don't already know, I really love our Really Rosemaling Stamps.  You can do SO much with them and Keren shows off their versatility in this card.  You must check out her blog where she shares another card in this same post that is equally as stunning.  I love her combo of colors and the gradients that she gets in each and every flourish.  These colors pop again that dark blue background.  Amazing!

Spring is all about new life and what better way to celebrate that than with this gorgeous baby card from Marcie, @marciesharp.

How adorable is this?  From the sweet pink background created using Quilted Stitched Pattern Die to the sweet wreath created with the Warm Welcome Dies.  Marcie used a simple flower and a bit of foliage from the Warm Welcome Stamps and it is perfect in it's simplicity.  The sentiment created using the Welcome Word Die and the few sequins add just the right finishing touch.  Thanks so much for sharing, Marcie!

The final card features a very inventive background created by Samantha, @mylittlepaperworld.

Who in the world would have thought to make a background this gorgeous from the belly of a springy bird?  Well, that's exactly what Samantha did!  She used a stamp from Hello Beautiful stamped in various shades of gray.  It turned out amazingly and I also love how she wrapped the circle with a sentiment from The Little Things around the cardfront holding the twine in place.  Such a fun design and a unique way to use a stamps.  Great job, Samantha!

Then, I used our Coffee Talk Stamps and Dies to create my coffee cup and our Sweet Celebration Stamps and Dies to create the florals in the background. Lastly, I mounted everything on a Vintage Label Die cut stamped with the coordinating Vintage Label Sentiments Stamps. Here too is a sneaky peek from a new stamp set coming out called Best Blooms.

Here's a closer look at all the items I used to create this project.

Hello, Lil' Inker Friends and thank you so much for joining me here for the third and final day of our New Release Blog Hop.

Thanks!

Rustic Spring Stamps

YOU NEED TO WATCH THIS!!! ;) Jen Carter made this excellent video for you showing you everything that can be done to your card fronts with our new Color Blocking Die. In just a few minutes you will see why you need this die in your crafty stash!

Here are projects I made for today but haven't shared yet and they're some of my favorites for this release!!!

Above I started with a grey card base which I die cut with our new Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die and then using the Sweet Celebration Stamps and Dies I created my stamped, textural focal point, banner, sentiments and flowers. The banner has a slight wave to it but the stamps do not so when I add my stamp to my acrylic block I curve it a bit to better fit my banner. It's so easy to do! Definitely give this a try when you're stamping too.

My second card features our Brush Script Spring Word Dies and Sweet Celebration Dies. Also making an appearance here is our oldie but goodie Fringe Flower Die. I forgot how much i loooooove making felt flowers with this die!!! Yippeeee!!!! My card base was die cut with our Cover Up Die Stitched Woodgrain - also a personal fave. I love how this one came together!

Last but certainly not least because it's actually my favorite card from this release is this card made with Sweet Celebration Stamps and Dies, Celebrate Word Die and Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die. I started by stamping flowers and leaves several times and experimenting with colors and I settled on a black as the accent to my flowers for this project which I thought worked well when I decided to add a black sentiment banner. Isn't this so pretty?!! I'm so proud of it! It's a keeper!

I hope you're loving everything you see here!!!
