You Made It Monday Vol. 35

It's time for another You Made It Monday!  We are super excited to share some more amazing creations that you, our customers, have created and shared with us online.  You Made It Monday is now a monthly feature and there are prizes!!!  That's right!  If you're featured in our You Made It Monday post you will receive a $10 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs!  Isn't that awesome??

You know how much we love seeing what you create with the products in the Lil' Inker Designs store.  You never cease to amaze us with your talent and creativity. Here is just a sampling of the awesome creations you have shared with us lately.

It's finally Spring and I couldn't help but share some amazingly springy creations that I found including this adorable card from Laurie, @crazycardlady.

I just love this card and how Laurie used the Fringe Scalloped Circles Dies to frame the adorable bicycle from Rustic Spring Stamps.  The flowers in the basket and the little sprigs of grass are too sweet and I love the ombre look on the Welcome Word Die.  Finished off the with the banner from the Warm Welcome Dies and the cute sparkle from the pink flowers, this card is a breath of fresh air!  Thanks, Laurie.

Next up, I just love this cheery card from Lindsey, @occasionalcrafting.

Why does gingham just feel springy?  I love this background and how Lindsey really made this sentiment from The Little Things Stamps the star of the card by highlighting it with these amazing blooms also from The Little Things Stamps and cut with The Little Things Dies.

This card pops and you can see even more gorgeous cards using these stamps as well as the Hello Beautiful Stamps, Hello Beautiful Dies, and Cover Up Die: Stitched Woodgrain created by The 12 Kits of Occasions Design Team.  Thanks SO much for creating this amazing card, Lindsey, and thanks to the team for featuring our products in February.

Next is a gorgeous card by Keren Baker that I found while wondering the web one day.

In case you don't already know, I really love our Really Rosemaling Stamps.  You can do SO much with them and Keren shows off their versatility in this card.  You must check out her blog where she shares another card in this same post that is equally as stunning.  I love her combo of colors and the gradients that she gets in each and every flourish.  These colors pop again that dark blue background.  Amazing!

Spring is all about new life and what better way to celebrate that than with this gorgeous baby card from Marcie, @marciesharp.

How adorable is this?  From the sweet pink background created using Quilted Stitched Pattern Die to the sweet wreath created with the Warm Welcome Dies.  Marcie used a simple flower and a bit of foliage from the Warm Welcome Stamps and it is perfect in it's simplicity.  The sentiment created using the Welcome Word Die and the few sequins add just the right finishing touch.  Thanks so much for sharing, Marcie!

The final card features a very inventive background created by Samantha, @mylittlepaperworld.

Who in the world would have thought to make a background this gorgeous from the belly of a springy bird?  Well, that's exactly what Samantha did!  She used a stamp from Hello Beautiful stamped in various shades of gray.  It turned out amazingly and I also love how she wrapped the circle with a sentiment from The Little Things around the cardfront holding the twine in place.  Such a fun design and a unique way to use a stamps.  Great job, Samantha!

Ready to see some projects today?

Here I started with our new Color Blocking Die to create an interesting layout using card stock and patterned paper. It was actually really easy to do. Then I focused on the bicycle in the Rustic Spring Stamps. Notice how I added the eggs to the basket? It's an accessory image included in the set. There are actually three different stamps you can use in the basket. Love that! I also stamped and die cut the happy word stamp and stamped the Easter word on vellum. Simple, sweet and it didn't take much time at all!

Here I used the exact same supplies as above but I chose to feature the bunny from the Rustic Spring Stamps and using my die which also cuts around his arms I was able to have him hold a carrot which is also included in the set. As you can see I also used the Color Blocking Die to create my card front but I chose to add texture to my aqua panel with the Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die. Also featured here is our Dual Stitched Egg and Easter Greeting Die which is the Happy Easter greeting die you see here. Lovely!

These three projects were so fun to make  and definitely didn't take too much time at all!!! I hope you love them!

February New Release Hop Day 1!

Helloooooo there!!! Welcome to Day 1 of our February New Release Hop!!

I'm so very excited to bring you these products! Let's get right to it!

First up is this duo of super cool bunny stamps and dies we're calling Bunny Buddies. You will receive two 2x3 stamp sets and 2 coordinating dies making this bundle a great value! These guys are too hip to hop and so fun to color! They're perfect for any recipient, of course, but were designed with kids in mind and intended to give off a hipster vibe!

Our Quilted Stitched So Sunny Die is a must have for those of you who LOVE this line of dies in our store.  This die creates some seriously awesome texture on card fronts and more. The pattern is delicate but intricate and is a true show stopper! We design these dies so that the finished metal die is exactly and A2 size. So, pre-cut your card base, then line this die up to the front side and with one pass through your machine you'll have a gorgeous, stitched pattern! This one's perfect for Spring, don't you think?

We're so excited to bring you this Cat Treats stamp set! This set was illustrated especially for our Lil' Inker friends and I hope you love it. Aren't these the sweetest images? You'll love that these cats can represent so many different card-giving occasions. Check out the cat friends taking a selfie, coffee cat and party cat! Each image has some purrrfect greetings (lol) that you'll love using!!

Below are the coordinating Cat Treats Dies to our Cat Treats Stamps. We of course had to give you a die set to purrrfectly (had to, LOL) cut out these adorable images!

Our Color Blocking Die is something really super-unique that we think you'll love experimenting with. It's a die designed with interesting card layouts in mind all while using a trendy and fashionable color-blocking design most easily. Precut an A2 card base in one color or many. Line up this die across your card front and cut and then use the pieces to create a colorful and interesting layout. Have a look at our graphic here so you can see what this die will do for your card fronts and don't forget to visit the project gallery on our website to see how awesome this die can be.

RUSTIC SPRING!!!!! Certainly a Spring follow up to our popular Rustic Christmas Dies and Stamps. This time, we're featuring a sweet bunny, bicycle with basket and sweet row of houses are our main images. There are small images in the set that you can add to the basket of the bike which is super fun and of course we've included a tree, some grass and flowers - all the images of spring. We kept the sentiments simple, but lovely as well as purposeful.

Our coordinating Rustic Spring Die Set really brings the stamps to life especially in the bunny's case. We've included some extra cuts around her arms so that when die cut the bunny can hold one of three images; the carrot, flower bouquet or long flower with leaves. Cool, right?! I love love love these sweet images!

Here is our new Brush Script Spring Word Dies. We've given you a trio of word dies that say Spring, Easter and Blessed in a fantastic script font. They are beautiful and easy to use. They can be used alone or cleverly paired with other stamps in your collection to create a phrase or full greeting. A must have!

Wooooot!!!!! I don't know about you but I loooved our Warm Welcome suit of stamps and dies and I really wanted to do a follow up to play with and I created Sweet Celebration! The stamp set includes a wreath done in a heart shape and the sentiments of the set focus around the word celebrate. The flowers are easy and fun to stamps and many are two steps so you'll love building colors and making these flowers your own.

Of course we've given you a coordinating Die set which features the heart wreath as a die as well as a wavy banner to splay across the front of the wreath. All of the sentiments in the stamp set stamp to fit on this wavy banner which can also be used in its own very nicely.

We've also created a Celebrate Word Die because sometimes you just have to die cut a word for a project. Am I right?! :)

I hope you love the Sweet Celebration suite of products. They're so pretty AND can be used for many different occasions including Christmas by using the Celebrate the Season phrase and some festive colored flowers. Lots of possibilities here.

What do you think?? Awesome stuff? Excited????

ME TOO!!!!!!!!

Would you like to see some projects today? Here are the projects I made with Bunny Buddies and also with Cat Treats and there is an appearance by our new Color Blocking Die in there too! Let's look!

Here's a quick little something I made with the hipster bunny in the Bunny Buddies Die & Stamp Bundle. I did some very fast water coloring with my Zigs on watercolor paper and added a sentiment which I heat embossed and snipped out with scissors. I like this sweet image SO MUCH and I love how quick and easy it was to color. My background was created with a plain green card base and the I used my Color Blocking Die to cut out a panel for layering made of thin balsa wood. I thought the wood was a great touch for this more masculine card. The embellie at the top right was made with a leaf from our Spring Flowers Die Set topped off with a button.

The card above was also super quick and simple to make. This is a mini card at approximately 2.25 x 3-ish. I'll have to get you the exact. But I thought it was perfect as a small gift card. I started by stamping and coloring with Zigs on watercolor paper and then I used this cool bunny's coordinating die to snip him out. I quickly and easily layered him on some orange neon and aqua papers which I actually really love together! I used the happy birthday sentiment and used the word "Brah". I think this is more of a colloquialism for the work "Bro". It happens to be how my hubby refers to my son when he's talking to him and being silly. It's a perfect card to slip into my son's birthday gifts. He's going to be 9, NINE in just a couple of weeks. Where does the time go???? MY BABY!!! I digress....LOL!!!

I hope I get more time to play with this AWESOME AWESOME stamp set called Cat Treats!! OMGSH I am obsessed with the adorable cat images in this set!! Here I used the coffee cat to create a sweet little card. This cat holding the coffee cup is...well....amazing!! I'm actually working with a new illustrator and I wrote to her and told her, among other things, that I wanted a cat holding a coffee cup and she just NAILED IT!!!!!!!! The little saying on kitty's cup is a separate stamp - just fyi -  and I really like that option!!! I paired this with the sentiment coffee is my catnip which I thought was cute and funny! Also making an appearance here is our Silly Stitched Dies which I used to create that awesome border around my card base.

What do you think???? I hope you're loving everything!! I'm really proud of all of the stamps and dies we're bringing you with this release. I hope they make you squeal with delight! HA!!!
