Dad, grads, weddings, babies, it seems like we celebrate tons of things in the month of June! The best part is, they are all super fun to celebrate. I hope you are all having a great time this weekend celebrating that special dad in your life. In honor of good ole dad, I decided to focus on him this week with some amazing creations you all shared using the Dad Word Die which is why we're posting today, Sunday instead of tomorrow. Don't worry, I'll be covering most of those other areas of celebration in weeks to come. So, just a heads up, make sure you are sharing your amazing creations!!
First up, I found this card by Nance Salkeld while I was checking out different challenge blogs.
I love how Nance split up her background that she used Cover Up Die: Tribal Chic to create. It looks great like that especially with a bright yellow Dad Word Die. It all comes together to be a really cool take on the challenge and a cool card for an even cooler dude! Thanks for sharing, Nance!
In case it wasn't obvious that I was checking out challenge blogs for inspiration, you may notice that this card by Kymona was also created for a challenge.
Talk about CAS perfection! You don't get much more clean and simple than this. The best part is, it still grabs your attention and looks good doing it. I love how Kymona cut the Dad Word Die from some fun paper with just a bit of pzazz. It really makes this card even more fun to look at!
You guessed it, this card from Ria Montefalcon comes complete with challenge blog inspiration.
Ria's combo of patterned paper on this card just makes me smile! I also love how she used the Sunshine Die as little accents along with her star. It's brilliant! The Dad Word Die just jumps out at you cut in that dark slightly patterned paper. What an amazing layout, Ria!
Our final card today is also, strangely enough, created for a challenge blog by Jeanne Jachna.
Talk about amazing combos of patterns and colors! I love the arrows and the layers. It's so fun to look at. The best part? Jeanne created this amazing card with the Dad Word Die AND one using the Mom Word Die. You must go check them both out on her blog. WOW!
While I'm on the subject of blogs, don't miss out on all the amazing inspiration over at A Blog Named Hero. They are doing amazing things with Lil' Inker Designs products at the moment. You won't want to miss out.

Check out this......I mean, seriously....I can't even.....
It's almost summer and I was really enjoying the thought of it being so close this weekend. So much so, that I decided to celebrate summer with some fun projects that really capture the feeling of the season. I found some of your older creations along with some new uses of these fun summery products. I think you are going to really enjoy them.
Lisa, of Embellish My World, shared this cute card with us during one of our Monthly Meetups.
How cute are those patterned Flip Flop Dies? I especially love how she planted them in the sand on this layered Long & Skinny Rectangle. What a cool way to create a scene and the Sunshine Die is perfectly offset in the scene at the top. The sentiment finishes off the card in such a cute way stamped on the Stitched Sentiment Flag Die. Adorable!
This next card is a newer creation from Darnell, of djkardkreations.
I don't know about you but this card makes me want to find some gold and coral flip flops. I just love the gold flecks in Darnell's shaker created with Stitched Mats: Circles. Such a perfect frame! TheFlip Flops are just itching to stroll through that golden sand. Can't blame them there! Awesome creation.
I'm having a tough time deciding what my favorite part of the flip flops Kim created is. The floral soles? The twine bows? How's a girl to choose? Make sure to go check out Kim's blog, Joyful Creations with Kim, to read all about this super fun card. Her post gave me a chuckle.
These are oldies but goodies and perfectly summery! Really, could there be a cuter way to get a gift certificate? The Folding Tag Die - Original is so cute with the polkadot and chevron paper and the Snarky Sentiment couldn't be more perfect with the treat these tags are holding. The colors totally make me think of summer and the addition of the sun drives home that feeling. The best part? Cathy used the bow from Flip Flop Dies, making this project totally fit with all my other flip flop cards! Ha ha.

Wow and just like that here we are at Day 3 of our new release!!!
As you may already know, my Day 3 post is very much a re-cap of our previous days but I do have some new projects to feature today. I will post the graphics of everything we released this week, share my new projects and then share the other projects I made for you and shared over the last few days.
Before I do that, I made a video for you for this release. Have you watched yet?? I do some live stamping with our Sassy Script Stamps and tell you a little about each project I made for this release, how I made them and some tips and tricks for using the new products.
Have a look. Caution: I'm a talker!!
Here is another look at everything we released in store this week:
Here are a couple of projects I haven't yet shown you. I'll start first with a card I made using our new Coffee Talk Dies, previously released stamps and new Coffee Word Die. Hummina hummina!!!!
I started by making a card base from SU's new Mint Macaroon (I think it's called?). Love this color. Then I knew I wanted to make an interesting layout so I used our new Dual Dotted Border Builder Dies to cut off a part of the front panel. To make the inside, or part beneath what is now the front flap I used my Cover Up Die: Tribal Chic to create even more visual interest. After deciding I wanted the front to have a little more color I used the same curved border builder die from the set and cut a piece of patterned paper which I laid over the front and just simply lined up the dotted holes. THEN I got to creating!
I stamped my coffee cup base and added the whip-topped lid and did a little coloring with Copic markers. Then I stamped a few ice cubes floating in the top and once I was done I used my Coffee Talk Dies to cut this guy out. I found that my die was a little tight and I probably should have restamped it and lowered the lid a bit to allow for more space but in the interest of time I pressed on.
I die cut my straw from pink paper and laid it over the front of my cup. To make it appear as though it moves through the cup like a real straw would I used a Copic Multi-liner pen and drew black lines that matched up the part of the stamping I covered. I really like the effect!
Of course I added in my die cut Coffee Word Die which I layered twice and stamped a sentiment this time from our Coffee Cozy Stamp Set. I LOVE THESE SUPPLIES!!!!! YAHOOO!O!!!!!!!!!
Then I had at it with our new Hello Beautiful Stamps and Dies. Seriously - you need to own these!!!!!! Have you seen the amazing projects made by our Designers. OH MY WORD!!! I digress.
I wanted to feature the unique border die in our Hello Beautiful Die Set on the front of my card base which you can see here was cut twice on my lavender card base. It cuts this neat, almost mesh-like pattern that is really fun. Do you love it?
Then I did a little stamping of course. I started by stamping by bird's body in pink ink and then I die cut the whole body. I prefer this method because I find I then have the most perfect spots for the rest of his body parts - which sounds funny. HA!!! I had to break up these pieces for you because there is nothing like being able to stamp this guy in lots of different colors. I LOVE HIM!!!!! The supporting floral images in this set are as equally as sweet as ever. They're great stamped in black or in different solid colors like I did here and then I popped a simple sentiment up on foam tape. THE SENTIMENTS!!! Oh my goodness the sentiments in this set ROCK!!! Ok, so yes, I designed them so I'm a little bit biased I do realize but the FONT COMBO I'VE DISCOVERED HERE!!! HELLO!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOLO!!! I thoroughly amuse myself! Let's move on!! ;)
I wanted to show you that our bird is as equally lovely stamped in black to make him look like a silhouette. See how the details really pop?? I also used our Fringe Scalloped Border Builder Dies to create a simple but eye catching layout. LOVE THESE!! I stamped this pretty little greeting in pink ink to match my papers which I hoard. I am hoarding this collection of papers from Simple Stories because I love it SO MUCH!!!
So, that does it for my new projects today. Here is everything else I shared previously this week:
The card above might be one of my favorites ever. I'm going to have to make a dupe. There is someone new in the neighborhood who totally deserves this but I can't part with it!!!! Tell me you do that too!!!!
Ok so before I send you along to hop remember to leave comments along your way because we have some prizes to give away! THREE PRIZES!!
Three individuals will be selected from one designer's blog to receive a $15 gift certificate to Lil' Inker Designs. To be eligible please leave your comments by Sunday June 12th at 11:30 PM EST. Thanks!!!
Here is a list of everyone participating in today's hop:
Then, be sure to visit our store to read up on all the new items in store and bring home the ones you want!! Just click on the image above to take you there. :) Before I let you go you might notice that we are missing Lea from this new release hop. Unfortunately, Lea is stepping down from our team and I have no words. I'm totally bummed out. Lea is quiet but her projects were fierce as was her photography. Lea's craftiness was a force in my opinion and her work always made our goodies look so outstanding. Lea, my dear, you will be GREATLY missed. Thank you so much for everything you've done for me and for Lil' Inker and for all your hard work!!! MWAH!!! Here are some of my favorite projects created by Lea.
Amazing, right? I know! I'm so sad. Love you, Lea!!!!!!
Be seeing you soon everyone! Thank you for spending part of your day with us. I hope you love everything from the release.
OH and heads up - I'm getting ready to go on our family vacation the last week of June. You may place orders during that week but they will be held and filled once I return. More information will be posted about this in the days to come.
